Escape to the Delaware Coast in this 2-bedroom, 2-bath Sea Colony oceanfront penthouse condo! Overlook the surf and sand from the private balcony of this top-floor rental! Just steps to Sea Colony's half mile of private beach and the resort oceanfront pools, this one-level resort retreat features a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the master suite. TWO reserved spaces, central air conditioning, washer and dryer too. Accessible without stairs. 2 flat-screen TVs, DVD, Wifi. Fireplace is not available for guest use.

THINGS TO KNOW
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Amazing location

View of Oceanside pool & beach from unit and nice balcony. It was so convenient to switch from pool, beach, and rest. A little dated, but has great beach home vibes - washer/dryer and dishwasher work great. Could use a mixing bowl and mixing spoons in the kitchen. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect Spring Vacation

Sea Colony is perfect in spring. It seems like most of the units were not occupied and so the amenities (indoor pools, tennis courts, etc) were reliably available and pretty private. This unit in particular had everything we could need and a fantastic view. Would definitely book it again.

Perfect beach location

This was our second visit to this same Sea Colony apartment so it definitely works for our family. The apartment is clean and spacious with everything we need to enjoy a week at the beach. We love how short a walk it is to the ocean and several indoor and outdoor pools, and the amazing 9th-floor views are an added bonus. If I had to find one area for improvement, blackout curtains in the East-facing bedroom would be great as it gets bright in there quite early in the summer. But overall this is a great place to stay and we can’t wait to return.

Perfect spot for an affordable beach getaway

We loved being on the ninth floor of Sea Colony. The view was wonderful. The condo was perfect for us. Nothing really fancy in terms of the kitchen and bathrooms, but everything that you need. The TV and wifi worked great, the art on the walls took this place to the next level in terms of decor, it was easy to get to and convenient to the pools and the beach access. We loved 904 Dover House and will look for this on our next trip to Bethany Beach.

Moms weekend away

We enjoyed the condo very much. The snow was beautiful . The view gorgeous, and the condo is nicely decorated. The heats works wonderfully. The walkway was iced over in many areas, having someone to check on safety is important.One bed in the oceanfront bedroom needs a new mattress, but the other was fine so I used that one. The kitchen and living area were perfect for our scrapbook marathon.

Very good overall. Clean except for a little on inside of shower door in one bathroom. Also, ceiling exhaust fan in that bath very dirty. All else very clean. Checkin was wonderful and checkout process was so easy and convenient. The view from this unit is great.

More Lighting by the elevators

This place was beautiful. We were there for the VIEW and it did not disappoint!!!!! The ONLY complaint that I would have is that there should be more lighting by the 9th floor elevator!! It’s VERY dark at night and we felt a little uncomfortable, but the overall experience was wonderful.

Great time at the beach

No complaints, this property was great for our family of four. It's about as close to the beach as you can get. That's where we spent most of our time, and when we were tired and done for the day it was great to come back to a well-air conditioned apartment with good wifi, a kitchen where we could cook dinner or warm up leftovers, and an absolutely amazing view of the beach and ocean. Nothing too fancy but everything we needed. We're already thinking about coming back to Sea Colony next summer and are planning on looking for this specific rental again.

Great Views

We loved the view and all the amenities that Sea Colony has to offer. This unit is was great for the time of year we visited. I would not pay peak season prices to stay in this unit it is need of some TLC. The reserved parking is only for ONE car, not two like the listing states, then you take your chances finding a guest spot if you have another vehicle.

First off , I would rent this unit again in a heartbeat. The view can't be beat! The bathrooms were clean and the beds comfortable. As other reviews have said though , a bit of updating is needed. The kitchen needs attention as far as some more basic utensils for cooking - tongs , scissors - and pots and pans that appear very worn out and stained. Also we found food on plates and utensils already put away and in the bottom of the dishwasher. The air vent near the front of the master bedroom needs some cleaning and painting. All this being said , the rental is pleasant and well located and I would recommend it. Just needs a bit of TLC to make it even better.

Nice, but in need of a refresh

Awesome views. Generally clean, but in need of a refresh of paint, and had several repairs waiting to be done. Would be nice if we had any clue where to find our parking space -- they appear to be in a random order! We had issues arriving after hours, but when we finally reached someone, they were very helpful.

Dream view, needs updating

Loved the balcony and view, unbeatable, why we wanted this apartment and it didn’t disappoint. Our group had three other units at Sea Colony during the stay which were all superior to ours (similar price) in terms of cleanliness and updates. Condition of the interior was left noticeably dirty which I couldn’t get past. Sadly the last night other residents in another building had a loud party (despite the “strict quiet hours” of Sea Colony which kept us up - no fault of the unit but disappointing. Sea Colony as a resort was fantastic for our large 4-family vacation and would certainly return. We appreciated the laundry, AC and dishwasher in this unit, beds and bathrooms were fine. Come for the view and hope the Owners/Vacasa will do better upkeep to maintain a future trip!
