A great single-level layout at the beach, this coastal getaway offers a living and dining area, den, full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the master suite. Just steps to Sea Colony's half mile of private beach and oceanfront pools, this resort condominium also features a recently renovated (2013) well-equipped kitchen, including stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and a complete complement of utensils and cookware. Central air conditioning, washer and dryer. Accessible without stairs. 2 TVs, DVD, Wifi. Notes: This Sea Colony vacation rental features ceramic tile throughout, including bedrooms.

Don’t rent this apartment!

Don’t rent this apartment. I expected outdated based on reviews but it was unsafe and VACASA was inept at responding

Cheap, clean with a great view

Overlooking & On the beach, sunrises right there, cooler afternoons as sun is on other side, clean all tile floors. Kitchen worked, bathrooms worked.

Wonderful stay.

The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, three rooms. It had everything you need for a family extra blankets, kitchen with dishwasher, washer and drier, nice view and beautiful beach. The place is safe, not too crowded, in a very resourceful area with a drugstore, farmers market for fresh food and restaurants, as well as two little malls nearby with souvenir stores, beach items stores, cafes, pnc bank.

decent for the price, could use some updates as things seemed to be older, outdated. blinds, tv, apartment refrigerator- needs a full size w/ice maker. needs updsted bedspread- things smelled like an old ladys home.

Very nice property. Check in and out was super easy.

Was disappointed that we couldn't rent and have a beach umbrella in front our building. We had to get in front of the building next door if we wanted to rent an umbrella.

Decent but room for improvement

The place was clean and tidy but it lacks decent patio furniture, a regular sized fridge and blinds of any thickness on the windows (early wake up). The view from the balcony is great and a nice layout though.

Nice option for the $

This place is a great choice for those working with budget. Pics show unit exactly as is. Met expectations based on price. Clean upon check-in. Great view. Big enough to accommodate 5 of us, including 3 teenagers. WiFi never an issue. Just one minor issue that required call to maintenance. If you are okay with not having the biggest TVs in bedrooms and just need a spot for the week at a decent rate this is a great option.

The condo was very nice. Everything was great about the stay except for the parking. I was assigned one reserved parking space. When a guest arrived they had to purchase 94 dollars worth of beach/pool tags in order for them to be eligible for a 2nd parking pass which was NOT reserved. Sometimes the overflow (non-reserved) parking lots were full & my guests had to ride around for long periods of time till a spot became available. At these expensive rental prices the parking situation really needs to be improved drastically.

I've been visiting Sea Colony since I was a kid and have stayed in a lot of different units. The good things are the things that keep me coming back: the view and the convenience to the beaches and pools. The staff at SC (lifeguards, everyone I came in contact with) are professional and the upkeep of the outdoor spaces is good. But this unit was seriously tattered. Things were literally falling off the walls (i.e. the bed headboard) . I had several texts to maintenance and took many photos; some were attended to quickly (dead electrical socket, perpetually running toilet). Some were ignored, like a broken dryer vent (broken before we got there, potential fire hazard); a pocket door that fell off its hinges upon opening; vents in the bathroom choked with dust. And the kitchen was comically equipped (though they did have an electric kettle!) For a shore flophouse that you share with 6 roommates when you're in college, that's fine, you have low expectations, but for the price and the fact that other units in Georgetowne with similar views/layouts are better equipped and require no maintenance calls, this place is notably shabby.

Needs some attention

The ocean view would be better enjoyed by adding a table so guests could enjoy eating there. While the kitchen sports a new coffee maker, can opener, & blender, preparing & eating more than canned food is hard because the place lacks adequate knives. Not much to cut any thing with so be prepared to eat donuts & hot dogs. The microwave works well but the kitchen light dims when it’s turned on which is a bit nerve-racking. The dryer emits lots of rattling- makes one wonder if it’s on its last legs. The hot water barely lasts for 1 shower so be prepared to wash fast. There are few lamps in the living room & the existing ones are dim so be forewarned if you enjoy reading at night. Also the lamps in the master bedroom are quite small with dim light bulbs so reading there is also uncomfortable. Don’t plan on using the kitchen counter area to use for meals because the place lacks bar- height stools. The refrigerator is smaller than average so it doesn’t hold a normal load of food, beverage or frozen items ( especially if you like to keep ice on hand). The dishes, glasses & cutlery are missed matched like they were purchased at a yard sale The air conditioning & wi if were reliable, though

Great location, but unit needs some TLC

We loved staying at Sea Colony - ocean view, steps from the beach and pool, and short (10 minute) walk to town. And Vacasa was very responsive and well organized. However, the unit needs a number of replacements/repairs to be on par with the other VBRO accommodations we have stayed in over the past 10 years.

Clean space close to the beach

Very clean and spacious. Great location and ocean view. Apartment is not fancy and decor is dated but it had everything we needed and was clean. Liked being in the Georgetown rather than the main bigger towers at Sea Colony. The beach was less crowded where we were.

Great location, unit needs work

The unit is in a great location - views of the pool and the beach - but it needs some updating. The kitchen faucet felt like it was going to come off every time we used it, the furniture was pretty old and cheap, the beds were flimsy and squeaky, and it just felt old. For reference, my parents were staying in another unit in Georgetown House and their unit was much nicer - newer, cleaner, more updated and modern. We had a great time but I wouldn’t rent this unit again unless it is updated and improved.

Great trip!

Condo was clean and location is superb. We didn’t use any of the pools, tennis courts, fitness amenities so having to pay $25/person for a pass was disappointing. No trash cans in the bathrooms or bedrooms which was a bit inconvenient. Black out curtains would be nice because the lights from the building are bright. Parking was very convenient. View of the beach was nice and proximity to the boardwalk was perfect. A short drive to Fenwick, OC or Rehoboth. Had minimal interaction with the property manager, but it was not overly warm, family or welcoming. We will definitely be back and would stay here again.

Nice view but ultimately not worth the money

Check in staff were very rude and not helpful. Condo very dated and kitchen lacked basic items and most everything needed washed before use Condo location ideal but the price was not justified
