Annie's Getaway can be your family's vacation getaway. Tucked just off the beach, this 4 bedroom home comfortably accommodates 10. Pick your favorite rocking chair on 1 of 2 porches. Creating lasting vacation memories around the private fenced in pool. After long fun days on the beach, relax and enjoy family time in the open and airy living/kitchen/dining combo. Annie's Getaway for our next Surfside Beach Vacation!

4 Bedrooms: 3 up and 1 down. 3 1/2 Baths: 2 up and 1 1/2 down. Beds: 1 king, 3 queen up; 1 king. WIFI. Covered porch and sundeck. Outside shower. Charcoal grill. Approximate square footage 1800. Built 2001. Private pool approximate dimensions 12 X 24, depth 3 to 5 ft. Pool is heated 3/1 - 5/30 and 9/1 - 11/1 if air temp is not below 55F. No smoking or pets allowed.

Excellent house and a great vacation!!

We loved this house and everything that came with it! We had a great vacation. One of my favorite features is the fact that the house sits in the shade of the morning sun so we enjoyed the front porch every single morning with coffee!! The houses across the street sit in full sun in the morning. The walk to the beach is so easy and close. The pool was perfect for us all! We would definitely stay at this house again!!

Wonderful stay

This property is beautiful. It’s a perfect distance to the beach. Very easy walk and access. Pool is perfect and there’s an overhang with furniture that’s shaded. Owner responded to any questions and his office person (Shiela) helped with linens, etc. Honestly perfect vacation. Thank you…..hope to return in the future.

Great time!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Communication with owner was easy, no issues with information being given and questions were quickly answered. The house is nice and clean with some lovely artwork. The kitchen is very well equipped, even with plates, cups and bowls for the small kids, which is always a plus for us. We brought our own linens so I can't comment on what getting them from the service is like. Plenty of rocking chairs on the porches, a picnic table near the grills, chairs and sofa by the pool and plenty of parking. 2 min walk to beach, if that. Our favorite ice cream shop and parks are near, easily accessible by golf cart. The owner left pool toys and there were a few beach chairs as well, though a couple of those have seen better days. The only negatives I have regarding the house are that the downstairs king bed is very firm. Too firm for us. I would double check that the pool heater is on before you arrive. We had a couple of instances with loud neighbors, but overall, it was very quiet. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!!

Great spot for family

The property was great. It was clean and had all the pots/pans/plates/silverware needed. The pool was also clean and very useful as our week had beach issues on some days. The walk there was quite short. The owner was very responsive to any needs. A great stay for us.

Perfect Family Getaway

We just returned from our Family vacation last week and we couldn't have asked for a better anything. The house was clean and well kept, the beach access was a 2 minute walk down the street and the beach was awesome. The house sits on a quiet corner in a residential community. You will see more golf carts than cars pass by, makes for good people watching while sitting on either of the decks or the swing. The ocean water in early August was warm and you are able to go out pretty far before it gets deeper. Perfect for boogie boarding, which we did a ton, or just relaxing. The house has a small in ground pool that is kept clean throughout the week. We tended to use this more at night since the beach was so perfect. You are close enough to attractions to do or eat anything you want or do nothing at all but go to the beach and grill out like we did. I did not need to contact the owners at all during our stay as there were no issues but they were very responsive with any questions I had prior to the trip. I would 100% book this vacation again.

Such a great overall stay!

This was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve had! Great house and spacious enough for our family of 8. The house was super clean. The photos on here don’t do it justice. The area felt safe and family friendly. The beach was so close, and we rented golf carts to get around to anything we needed. The only bad (but tolerable) things would be how uncomfortable the beds were and that the pool light inside the pool didn’t work. That’s a must when you have children swimming. There were pool toys already there and beach chairs to use! We plan on returning to Surf Side soon!!

Great place close to the beach

Fantastic house with full amenities. It's a quick 2 minute walk to the beach being about a block away. The house was clean and well kept. The place has a private pool that is well maintained with a privacy fence around it so you have privacy from passersby. The owner was easy to deal with and we experienced no problems. Overall, we had a great experience and will look to return in the future.

Great family beach house

We had never been to Surfside beach before, and it exceed our expectations. The house was a 3 min walk to the beach (which has great sand!), the pool deck is a tad small but can't complain about having a pool for the kids to play in or to relax in after the kids went to bed. House was very well kept and had a lot of amenities, but you do have to bring your own sheets for all beds unless you want to rent sheets (~$160). The king bed and pillows upstairs are VERY uncomfortable- probably the most uncomfortable mattress we've ever slept on. A couple more pictures on the listing would help a ton. There is a king master on the first floor, king master on second, queen on second, and double queen room on second. The queen rooms have a Jack and Jill bathroom that connects them.

Great Vacation Home!

We vacationed as a family of 8 with 3 generations. This house had things for everyone & had great accommodations. The only thing we would change is the bedroom with the 2 queen beds. One bed needs a new mattress or just have one bed in the bedroom. It would have been nice to have access to the closet in that room too & not a portable hanging rack. The house was super clean & the kitchen was fully stocked & everything worked. The owner added labels to all the light switches & motion activated night lights. Wonderful additions! Also, there were cleaning products at the house, a sweeper & broom. We also did the linen package & rented a golf cart for the week. I highly recommend this property! Thanks for a wonderful week away!!!!!
