This cute beach house was perfect for my husband and myself. It was well-stocked, clean and beautifully decorated. The outside deck had comfortable seating and a fabulous view of Hood Canal. Everything worked well, including the hot tub. There was plenty of room for safe parking across the neighborhood road. Because the home is off the main North Shore road, we heard no road noise at all, and the neighborhood road was a very safe place to walk in the morning. We enjoyed using the kayaks and digging steamer clams from the private beach. Thank you, Nichole, for sharing your home with us!

Very responsive host and great location close to town with private beach for shellfish and water sports. Love the kayaks, jacuzzi and fire pit!

We had a wonderful family get away at this location. It was a perfect location and the host was great! Will be rebooking for future trips to the area.

This is a beautiful beach house located right on the canal! We loved using the fire pit and cooking s’mores right on the beach. The hot tub was a great way to relax and end the evenings. We saw Harbor Seals, Haron and River Otters. We look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful home! Beautiful spot! Love the fact that they had a king size bed. Don't find that very often. Enjoyed watching the seals and even an otter! Would definitely come back again.

This place was beautiful!!! Perfect mini vacation for spring break with our family of 4. We were able to kayak and get shellfish and enjoy the view. It was quite and very private.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sky's Landing! We initially ran into booking issues with the site but Nichole was responsive, easy to work with, and it set the stage for a great trip. The property was well-equipped and met our needs, and the being right on the water made for a very relaxing experience. The house is on a quiet drive which was wonderful for walking, and still centrally located a short drive from restaurants and grocery stores, etc. We'd certainly stay at Sky's Landing again and would recommend to others!

Escape from the city

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful home. And we were thrilled to have such a sunny weekend in June, as you never know in the PNW. It was quiet, off the main road, we felt worlds away from it all. We will definitely stay here again!

Nice, clean, and great location

Nice house and great views, however it was a little closer to the other house then what we expected in the pictures provided. Everything was clean and well kept up.

Hi Keith, I hope you had a great anniversary weekend (the flower delivery before arrival was a great touch)! Most waterfront lots are 60-100 feet wide. We have 100 feet of waterfront. The property to one side is an open beach of 80 feet. And the neighbors on the other side, have a huge hedge and set back another 50’ from our property line. You won’t find other waterfront houses with that much space between. Many homes after stacked on top of each other when it comes to waterfront. I’m sorry you felt the pics looked more secluded. We do our best to make sure we have happy guests! Thanks for staying and taking the time to review. Nichole :)

Beautiful, bright house on the water

Adorable little house right on the water. Close to town for runs to the store, comfy, bright--even in the winter gloom--and efficiently laid out. Good hot tub, good communication and a great Thanksgiving week. (Note the fireplace is disconnected at the moment, which was a bummer in the endless rain, but we got over it.)

I’ve taken the fireplace out of the listed amenities for now, until we figure out our plan for the future. What a great location!

We booked a stay just for immediate family, and we were very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful Sky's Landing is! If you want a waterfront location on the Hood Canal, you cannot get more waterfront than this. Seriously, at high tide, the water is like 5 or 10 feet off the deck. Really easy access for kayaking, really easy access for anything in the water. The property is nice and clean and has plenty of places to sit and watch the canal. We even had rain for part of our trip, and it was amazing to just sit and watch it fall on the water. We will definitely be back next summer.

Amazing Beach Home

We had not stayed on the North shore of the canal before so did not know what to expect. The house was perfect for our family of 4. No bank waterfront was very cool. We had a fire on the beach every night and roasted oysters picked right off the beach. The one car in the parking lot is no joke. The Neighbor will let you know immediately if you have two cars down, even if you are just unloading. After the initial incident, he was very pleasant though. There is plenty of parking in the driveway across the street so it was not an issue at all. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING...Better than pictured on VRBO/HomeAway (even though pictures are really good)

The home decor is very warm, inviting and makes you feel comfortable and at home. Everything is there that you would need to stay for a week, all the cooking pot/pans, utensils, various (forgotten at home but necessary) spices and more. Our first hour there we were delighted to see a sea lion (guest on the neighbors dock every morning), salmon jumping (flying) out of the water and two deer walking across the bulk head to the little creek on the other side of the retaining wall of the bulk head, just 20 feet from us! When the tide is low and your on the deck, you can hear the creek bubbling, it is so soothing. There are several sitting areas on the deck where you can seek sun or create shade and STILL have a perfect view of Hood Canal PLUS very little road noise! We will hopefully be coming back next year!
