Beach Dreams Cottage - Gated Resort with Great Location

Recently completed a full remodel of a 600 sq ft unit that we purchased at Beach Dreams! Newly Installed Central air conditioning & High end kitchen with quartz countertops. 1 bedroom has a queen and the other has a bunk bed with two twins. There is a pull out sofa in the living room that sleeps two for a total of six. You will LOVE this unit. This cottage is VERY close to the main pool (about 100 steps away) so it is great to go back and forth for naps, drinks, etc.. It is one cottage behind the main road so you also don't have a lot of noise. Cottage has a stackable washer & dryer, DVD player, New TV's, gas grill, etc. Bed and bath linens are provided and WI-FI. Large outdoor pool (also a small kid pool), huge hot tub, fitness center, game room are all within 100 steps of the cottage. Basketball and bocce are about a minute walk. Tennis courts are also in resort. Parking for 2 vehicles (common parking) - NO PETS ALLOWED BY RENTERS (Resort rule) and NO SMOKING ON THE ENTIRE RESORT -

Book two or more weeks and you will not be charged the linen or cleaning fees at all.

Note: Pool may not be open in off season depending on your dates.

Beach Dreams has a trolley stop at the front entrance.

Bike rental and surf shop 500 feet from Beach Dreams entrance.

Saltwater Farm Market and Café just across street from resort.

Also New England House Sports Bar is under a mile from entrance.

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Teh cottage is part of a condo neighborhood and all of the guests and long-term residents seemed friendly. The unit was comfortable although a little bit small. This was ok as the weather was spectacular so we were outside most of the time. However, if we had a rainy day or wanted to have a family movie night or game night, there was not much room for that. I think adding one or two more comfortable seats to the living room would solve that. It would be tight but at least there would be a comfy space for everyone to be together. The hosts were great - very communicative and everything was sparkling clean. All in all a great stay - thank you!!

Maine Getaway

Nice little property, but not exceptional. The hot water heater broke while we were there but the owners were very responsive to get it fixed. Plumber said it was very old. Furnishings were a bit if a mishmash - not very appealing. Dishwasher and laundry detergent were not provided yet we were asked to wash towels and dishes before we left.

Great stay close to Ogunquit

Cabin was a great location near Wells Beach and close to both Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Close proximity to clubhouse with a really nice pool and hot tub. Cabin was well furnished and comfortable for 3 adults. Check-in was very easy and owner was very responsive. Good WiFi if you need it. Neighborhood felt very safe and was quiet.

Quiet and Relaxing

We were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay longer to go to the beach. This was the perfect quiet spot, set back from the road but a quick drive to Wells Beach and Ogunquit. The host was quick to respond!

Amazing vacation location

We absolutely loved our stay, especially one of the best pools for kids in the area. It is close to restaurants and attractions (loved the go karts) and between all the beaches in Wells and Ogunquit. The place is clean and comfortable, great AC’s during a very hot week. Thanks for the hospitality!

Great stay in a cozy area

We loved staying here, it was perfect for us and our toddler. Everything was as described! A nice short drive to the beach, a fun pool area and club house, and plenty of amenities for when we didn’t want to dine out. Would definitely recommend!

Great place!!!

Our family of 5 had an amazing time in Maine and this cottage was absolutely performed our stay! The house was perfect, the location was great and the owners were amazing! We would love to stay here again because they had all the amenities we needed and there is so much to do and explore. Thank you.

A great vacation spot for our family!

The cottage was fantastic, and beat all of our expectations! I’m so glad we stayed here instead of a hotel… having 2 bedrooms and the kitchen/living room space was great. The pool was gorgeous, and never crowded. We had a fantastic week!

Delightful Place to Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was as pictured/described and very clean. It perfectly met the needs of our family of four. The pool and clubhouse are also nicely maintained and so great to have. Especially for children! We would happily stay here again.

Everything was excellent- the cottage, ammentities, and host!

The cottage was cute, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a week-long getaway. The ammentities were great wirh my children loving the pool and my partner loving the hot tub! The host was so nice and responsive, and the check in and out process was so simple! Would highly recommend booking with this host at this property!

Great Place

This is a wonderful cottage that is clean and comfortable. However, just a few suggestions. The towels are a little thin so maybe a better quality of towel. There should be a bedside light in the bedroom. I would definitely stay again!

Great place for an escape!

Clean cottage in gated resort community with just enough necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable! Beds were great, sufficient kitchen supplies and TVs with wifi for downtime when we wanted to be at the cottage. Rosabel and Richard were responsive and pleasant from the first contact! Would recommend and return. Thank you!

Perfect Getaway

Rosabel was accommodating and communicative from day one. Everything that was suggested from past reviews has been added to the cottage. Oven mitts, wifi, extra cookware, you name it, she has it there. The pool was still open for us during Columbus Day weekend which was only steps from the cottage. Close to town and all the happenings. Very clean and really nicely decorated. We will definitely be back! Thank you Rosabel!

Labor Day Week Vacation

The property was very clean and the location was quiet. For the most part, the kitchen was well equipped but a good oven mitt should be added. Another improvement would be addition of a couple of table lamps (overhead lighting was intense) and amore comfortable chair. The location was close to many local attractions.

NIGHTMARE

We arrived at the cottage when it was 90 degrees outside. There was NO air conditioning on it the cottage where it was 110 degrees! It took almost 2 days for the cheap air conditioner to cool the place down to a normal temperature. Great place for an upscale trailer park!

Wonderful little cottage

We had a great time here, plenty but not too much room for a family of 3, 3 minute walk to the pool and a 8 minute drive to a number of different beaches. Rosabel was great to work with, got back to me super quick whenever I had a question. This place was awesome.

Clean and cozy

This cottage is very cute and cozy! A little Small for my family with tall children 11&15 to sleep in bunk beds. Tried sofa bed but not so comfy. Full bed very comfy. Pool area was very close and not too crowded.

Has potential

This is a special cottage but there are a couple of things that could take it to the next level. Owners sent lock box info less than an hour before check in and there was no wifi until you check in so we were locked out. It would be nice if there was more toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc to just take the hospitality to the next level. I would have liked to know beforehand if things like half and half and coffee would be provided. Had to run to the store multiple times before I felt comfortable. I think that would have made me feel more welcome. Ok now for the good: loved the location near the pool/amenities. Owners were nice. Great location near town and beaches. Love coming to Wells because of the laid-back atmosphere. I would use the cottage again, but I think there are a couple small improvements the owners could make like sharing a handbook to take the hospitality to the next level.
