There is plenty of room for 12 and a beautiful great room! The kitchen was amazingly equipped with all you could need! Very clean! Great stay overall!

House was very clean. However, lots of spiders and cobwebs on the property. Upstairs rooms and loft were great but downstairs rooms need some love. Property is very private due to trees but there isn’t a view.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our time at Shady Ridge. The property was well kept and our other friends and family enjoyed it as well. We had a conference at Lake Junaluska all week so there was a bit of back and forth. Slightly further than I would h e liked but all in all a great place to relax in the mountains with friends.

Relaxing and Fun

Home was lovely with two king size master suites, two bedrooms with queen size beds and a loft with four twin beds. Plenty of space and a hot tub.

Great house. Lots of amenities and full stocked kitchen. House and property get 5 stars. Great for big families. Bring TP and paper towels. Fairly convenient location to the town of Waynesville. Will be better once Canton Road is open back up near Shady Ridge Road. For now you have to go a ways around. Communication with the property manager was pretty good before hand. I had to call for access to the info site. No email was sent. Also with the road closures and GPS taking us the wrong way off Canton Rd, written local directions would have been super helpful. There was no response from the after hours text number provided

A Cozy Thanksgiving Getaway

We had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin for Thanksgiving with friends and family, and it was an experience to remember. The location was idyllic, nestled in the heart of nature, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, but great proximity to the town. The cabin's warm and inviting atmosphere added an extra layer of comfort to our holiday retreat. The rustic yet modern decor created a perfect blend, making us feel right at home. The spacious living areas allowed for quality time together, whether we were enjoying a festive meal or simply relaxing by the fireplace.One of the highlights was the well-equipped kitchen, which made preparing our Thanksgiving feast a breeze. The amenities provided exceeded our expectations, adding convenience to our stay. The thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, from cozy blankets to board games, contributed to a sense of coziness and togetherness.The surrounding natural beauty was the cherry on top. We took advantage of nearby Smokey Mountain trails to see Elk and appreciated the scenic views that surrounded us. Great Getaway!

Every year our family rents a cabin to meet and spend our Christmas… This year we chose Waynesville and couldn’t have been more happy.. the cabin was in a great location for downtown and close to Asheville. We were very pleased with the layout of the rooms and how easy the check in process was. Only negative we had were the two rooms downstairs were a little cooler and we had to run space heaters for comfort and since it was Christmas time we were hoping for a tree, and some Holiday decorations that we have had at other cabins in the past. However, with all that said, we had an excellent experience and would definitely stay again!

Family time

We rented this property to celebrate friendship, graduation, and adventure. We loved the bunks in the loft and the big kitchen table. It was also a central location for the Big Pigeon and Nantahala rivers. We hope to make this an annual trip!
