Brand new, renovated, waterfront house on Indian Lake. Perfect getaway that sleeps up to 9 people. Minutes from Mad River Moutain Ski Resort. Spacious open concept with granite countertops. Two large indoor living rooms. Open kitchen with stainless steel appliances. 1.5 Bathrooms. Fireplace. 6 flat-screen TVs including one outdoor tv on the water. Washer and dryer. Covered boathouse and dock. Cozy up on our outdoor living room with tv that overlooks the water. Large backyard with a picnic table that sits on the water or enjoy a game of cornhole. (Boards in the garage) Modern Weber Grill with propane. We try to maintain full propane but in event it’s empty, there is a refill station at Lakeview Hardware. (10 minutes away) Send us the receipt for full reimbursement.

Cranberry’s resort and bar is a whopping 50-yard walk. This house is in a perfect location, about 50 minutes from the Columbus area. Private driveway with 2 car covered port and 4 car private driveway. Space fits most truck/suvs and boat trailers.

Fantastic again

This was our second stay at Phoebe’s. The house is immaculate and comfortable. The fenced in backyard is great for our fur babies. The views of the lake are beautiful and when it’s nice you can watch TV out there. There are many places to eat close by. Phil is very pleasant and makes sure you are comfortable. We will be back as it feels like home!

Great girls getaway!

We had a perfect, relaxing fall weekend at Phoebe's Waterfront Lakehouse! The weather could not have been more perfect for us to enjoy the house, especially the enchanting outdoor area. We enjoyed college football on the outdoor TV and watching the boats come and go from Cranberry's. The house was perfectly situated and appointed for our group of four! A long-awaited girls weekend and this place did not disappoint. We hope to be back -- sooner than later!

Relaxing stay at a lovely house

We truly enjoyed watching TV outside by the lake. We also could sit out there and listen to the bands at Cranberry’s without the crowd. The house was very nice and cozy. Will stay again!

Great for family weekends

This was our second stay at Phoebe's Lakehouse. Both times it was lovely. The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The fenced in backyard is a huge plus making it worry free with kids. The location... near Cranberries is a plus. The owner, Phil, is easy to communicate with and very responsive We took a wonderful boat tour with Indian Lake Boat Tours. Amber and Mike were outstanding tour guides. Overall ... an extremely pleasant few days in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend.

Great trip

We had a great last minute trip to Indian Lake. The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed every second and it was just what we needed. The indoors and outdoors were set up great and we will definitely be returning. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Property

Phoebes Cottage is better than I could have imagined. This property is gorgeous and the hosts have thought of everything. Our family enjoyed fishing, boat rides, the fenced in yard (for the pups) and listening to music in the evenings from Cranberry’s. We cannot wait to come back!

Great weekend

We really enjoyed our extended weekend at this very nice lake house. Very clean and stylish. Beds were comfortable and the lake view was lovely.

Best home on the lake!

This home is beautiful and the owner’s did an amazing job remodeling it and decorating it. The fenced-in yard was essential for our dog to run and play freely. The house faces the sunrise, so on those mornings when it was extra colorful it was something special to behold, all the color reflected on the water across the cove. Lots of wonderful bird sounds too. Very relaxing. Everything we needed was supplied in the kitchen. I would highly recommend taking the 15 minute drive to the north side of the lake and get a Mocha from “The Brown Bean” coffee shop- the best coffee in the area and delicious donuts too (supplied by Mello-Crème in Lima). La Pizzeria was the best for pizza. We feel fortunate to have gotten to stay at one of the best places on the lake! God bless you for the good care you take of your renters.

Week getaway

We have stayed at this place many times and never have been disappointed. I would highly recommend this place to stay. What a great place and location. We had tons of fun as always will definitely be back.

Thanksgiving at the lake was great!

Home was exactly as pictured and described. Host was great. The boys caught their fish limits daily, which was the cherry on top. We are city people, so the soft water/water odor was a little different at first, but we got used to it! We would definitely stay here again!!

Visual Pleasure

First off, we would come back in the summer time! We could tell a good amount of planning took place in the architecture & remodeling plans for this cottage. We loved the floor plan with loads of windows, nice furniture & size/amount of TV's and vaulted ceilings. Use of wood for baseboards, door/window trim, ceiling & fireplace was awesome. The abundance of toilet paper found in various places made us chuckle. TV's in the bunk area is unique. Outside TV, gas fire pit & covered patio was delightful! Lights & wall hangings were cool. Blinds in windows were a good finishing touch. Fenced yard was a mandatory asset and fantastic for us to allow our dogs wonder around. Direct view of lake, birds, other houses & boats was majestic and very relaxing! Kitchen could use: Toaster, pitcher, sos pads, foil, plastic wrap & oil. We could not find a bathroom floor mat. Our stay was great!

Phoebe’s Lake House Vacation

The vacation took place in October. There were 5 college friends and we get together every year somewhere new to relax and reconnect. We cook, play games, visit and generally have a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. However, at this time of the year I recommend bringing extra blankets for your stay, Which we did. Also the closets are small. Women need lots of storage. LOL!!!

Very relaxing!

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation! The house is clean and well stocked and communication was great with the property manager. Our dog enjoyed the yard and we loved the beautiful view!

Best stay at the Lake!

This is our second time at Indian Lake this season and this house was by far our favorite! We loved the fenced in yard for our dogs (they loved it too!) and the location next to Cranberry’s…we had music every night, but we weren’t disturbed by the noise once we went inside. We rented a boat, caught lots of fish off the dock, went to the Root Beer stand and visited our favorite, Gene’s. Thanks for having us, we hope to return soon!

Lake House

Inside was beautiful and clean. Would be nice to have a written instruction book on working the TVs and outside firepit and not need to text the host. The outside lake side was nice, but we had to uncover and clean the furniture and cushions in order to use them. Other than that, was a great place to stay. We would rent again.

Mother/Daughter time

My mother and I spent a wonderful three days again at Indian Lake. We enjoyed the sunsets, wildlife, watching the boats go by and listening to the music of Cranberries. The house is beautiful and so much roomier than it looks from the outside. Thanks for a great place to stay, Phil

Wonderful Family Lake Home

We enjoyed everything about our stay. We loved the location and view. Sitting outside in the evening listening to the music from Cranberry was such an extra bonus. The kids hung out in the bunks and relaxed after a day on the boat and we relaxed outside. Our fur baby loved the yard and relaxing on the dock. Communication was great. We met the maintenance and cleaning crew and they were a delight. We will be back with boat in tow! Thank you for a relaxing weekend!

This is Anna and Phil, thanks for considering our Lake House for your vacation! We recently bought this place as an occasional getaway and want to share it with good people. It's a short drive from Mad River Mountain if you are skiers. We recently became pregnant and will have less time to spend at the lake than we planned. Come enjoy! It's a perfect location being right on the water, close to Cranberry's Restaurant and Resort, and a short drive from Mad River Mountain Ski Resort. You'll love your stay at our little cottage:)
