With high, vaulted ceilings, an attractive wood-burning fireplace, a private washer and dryer, and a spacious private deck, this home is the perfect place to spend your next family vacation. Spread out on a comfortable couch to watch a good DVD movie on the huge flatscreen TV, catch some warm sun through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, or catch up with old friends with glasses of delicious wine from White Mountain Winery. The kids will love annoying you with paper airplanes from the loft, and there's nothing like the aromas of a delicious soup wafting out from the full kitchen where you'll have everything you need to turn out amazing meals. There's plenty of seating at the dining table and lots of space on the deck for your next dinner party. When you're not skiing some of the nearby slopes or enjoying a fun hot-weather hike, take advantage of the shared tennis court for a little exercise with friends.

What's nearby:
Take the kids three-and-a-half miles west to visit the fairytale-themed Story Land with kid-friendly events, rides, and attractions. They'll also appreciate a trip to Living Shores Aquarium, where they can learn about their favorite animals with exhibits like Silver Moony Exhibit, Tropical Walkthrough Aviary, and the Freshwater Red Garra Touch Pool. You'll be less than seven miles from Attitash Mountain Resort with lots of fun ski runs for every age and ski level.

This was our first time staying anywhere other than a hotel and it was amazing how quiet it was, the privacy, the home feel, a deck with a beautiful view, super close to Storyland and little less than an hr from Santas Village. I try to only write good reviews unless I'm really mad about something but I'm not entirely sure my concerns were taken seriously. I found it bizarre that in each email and in a couple places in the house it was posted not to feed the bears and take care of trash properly. Makes sense, right. When we arrived there was three bags of trash on the porch, one trash can full to the top and the other trash can was overflowing. I contacted vacasa immediately.They asked for pictures and said they would inform local team. I told them the next morning it was still there and then again our last day there. We asked if they wanted us to put our trash outside or leave it inside at check out and they asked us to leave it inside. We started a load of laundry the night before leaving and attempted to dry it for five hours, not kidding. I did communicate it had no heat. I was excited to use the sauna but not totally familiar with this one. I'm used to infrared but I was going to give it a try. There was a kettle of water inside with a wooden spoon and when I moved it the water was all brown. We did have a great stay but a few things could be better. I have photos if they are wanted but I'm not going to post.

The house is in a great location to visit Story Land and Santa's Village. The view was really pretty. There was plenty of space for me and 2 children. Our only issues were that 1 of the bunk bed ladders was not secured and my child fell off. The curtain that blocked off the loft area was also broken.

Cozy home with beautiful scenic views!

The home was so relaxing & peaceful. Could see the stars so clear at night which my wife and I absolutely enjoyed. Very close to many hiking routes and lakes.

Disappointing reality

The location of the home was beautiful. There were nice views from the deck. However, we didn't feel safe having more than one person on the deck because of the state of disrepair that it was in. There were also upkeep issues inside the home. I took pictures to upload but I'm not being given the option to share them with this review. The edging on the floor was coming apart, leaving two sharp ends sticking out. This was not ideal with a toddler and 5 year old running around. The service team repaired the break with clear packing tape - that's not a joke (unfortunately). The upstairs shower also had a shoddy repair that left big open gaps into the back of the shower. We ended up leaving a day early because the internet wasn't working and their "local service" was a chatbot site. No one ever responded or came to fix the problem, despite us calling three times over 2 1/2 days. We had to work, and had online meetings scheduled, so we couldn't stay without internet service and were forced to leave a day early. This place might be good for a young couple, or people with no kids who are trying to escape cell phones and internet. If you need internet and decent cell service, this may not be the place for you. Also, it's a hard place to be with small children. There is no bathroom on the main level and there are two steep staircases leading to the bedrooms/bathrooms, which are located on the lower level and third floor loft.

Just what we were looking for

The house was situated in a picturesque and perfect location for our family weekend. It had such a homey feel as soon as we walked in and it continued to deliver that atmosphere the whole weekend long. We particularly liked how the lower level actually felt like part of the main living space; not every house can achieve that. We especially appreciated that linens and towels were included! We want to return for skiing later in the year.

Trash greeted us over flowing upon arrival! Contacted vacas management several times Despite numerous assurances that it would be cleared up, it never was! Still there when we checked out!! Zero service! Requested a refund of fees as no service occurred! Extremely disappointed!!

Long weekend away

The customer service through the rental company vacassa was awful, I was told there weren’t blankets, a stocked kitchen etc which there was all on that. While traveling with two babies I ended up packing all of this bedding I did not need. The walkway, stairs, deck and path to the trash were not shoveled, nothing was de-iced and entry was very difficult, once again with two very small children.

Relaxing and great location

Great location between North Conway and Glen, NH. Easy to get everywhere but tucked back into a nice quiet neighborhood. Loved the sauna and jacuzzi. Very relaxing stay

Relaxing

My husband and I made an impulse decision on taking a quick trip away. We love the White Mountains areas and found this little gem of a place. Such a perfect set up, the layout just works so well, you have amazing views and you are tucked away. This place had so many games at hand, this house is perfect for relaxing and really spending quality time with your family. The kids took the two downstairs bedrooms and bath. I thought I would never see them. But as we know teenagers get hungry lol. The board games really made the nights fun. This place is on our to go to list for a perfect quiet piece of Heaven.

The house was nice, great view. But AC unit leaked, actually poured, water inside the house. I let Vacasa know and they supposedly had someone coming over to fix it. They never came so we spent a lot of time emptying bowls to keep from ruining the floor. Not how we should have spent our time in the house. If I was the homeowner I wouldn’t be too happy. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.
