Childrenā€™s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

The hotel is so close to the beach, which is great for my mother, who had her second knee replacement this year, not having a long walk to get to the sand made the trip perfect! The staff are so nice, the pools are great & the view was magical!

Great stay

We had a long weekend with family at this property and it was great. The proximity to the beach was so nice. There are so many indoor/outdoor pools so we didn't feel overcrowded. The room was very clean and worked perfect for us. Would deff stay here again.

Skip this condo

I wanted to love this property, but the condo was dated (badly) and filthy. Absolutely filthy. The Bay Watch Resort is in a great location, friendly staff and very good food at their restaurants. But this condo needs a deep clean and a remodel. Skip it!

Overall great week in 1209

It was nice having a small amount of essentials (detergent, tp, etc) to get us started! The shower pressure was awesome, and although the room could use an update, it was very clean and suited our needs just fine! The only real complaints I have is the dryer was almost useless, and took most of the day to dry anything, and there was no vacuum of any kind! The door code was so long, no one could remember it till the end of the week. We would stay here again though.

4th of July Vaca

Came down to Myrtle beach to shop for a vacation house and a little beach time. Love the area, but maybe next time I'll come down after the season is over, it was way to packed for me - even on the 12th floor it was hard to hear the ocean over the crowds. Other reviews said the place was dated, which still stands true, but it is nice nonetheless. That being said, a dehumidifier is desperately needed as the AC couldn't keep up and sheets felt damp while sleeping.

Good for the Money

Cons: Unit is dated. Only one worn dishcloth, no hot pads, no cookie sheets. Bring whatever seasonings you need, including salt/pepper. Could use some appliance paint on the rusted side of the fridge. Bath towels double as an exfoliateā€¦.very, very rough. Pros: Very clean, gorgeous view from the balcony, queen bed was very comfortable. TVā€™s in both bedrooms and living room area. Elevators work great. Easy, quick access to pools or the beach. Water pressure in shower was unreal (others in our group saw this as a ā€œconā€, I considered it a ā€œplusā€.). Plenty of hot water. Nice amenities in the bathrooms. Everything work as needed in the unit.

Needs Updates

The room keys deactivate every five minutes it seems like, I made at least 15 trips in 3 days to get my key re-keyed at the front desk. The only other issue we had was the security guard who tried to detain one of our team members because he was having trouble finding his room (yes he was a tad intoxicated, but he wasnā€™t being rude or belligerent with her). He ended up leaving his wallet with her and the next day when he went back to get it all the cash was gone.

Great Relaxing Weekend

The view of the ocean was amazing! Simply beautiful! I would definitely recommend an oceanfront room! The rooms were a great size. We enjoyed having a full size kitchen! Weā€™re already planning our next getaway to go back there. Very friendly staff, The food in the cafe was very good! The hot tubs, the poolsā€¦ everything for a perfect stay is right there for your convenience. Again, the beach is a few sand steps awayā€¦beautiful!!

Beach Vacation

The unit had pealing/crack plaster in living room ceiling; the furniture in all rooms and kitchen cabinets need to be replaced/updated. However, the ocean views, cleanliness of unit and ability to have direct/easy access to beach were outstanding.
