Great get away place!

The place was great! So cute! And pretty furniture and decorations ! The neighborhood seemed a little scary at night. But not too bad. Would stay again!

Thanks you for the 5 STARS. I'm so glad you liked the decorations. I love the history of Montgomery and my nephew is a photographer, so he went around and captured a few highlights of the Capital City to put on the wall. I'm not sure what seemed scary, but glad to know you would stay again.

Sweet home in Alabama

The home was conveniently located. The neighborhood was quaint and peaceful. The decor was simple and sweet. The home was clean and sitting out on the porch, we felt like we were at home. Stuart was a lovely host and kind enough to ensure our stay was everything we expected. The rental was priced right and was just as advertised. We will surely stay here again when visiting Montgomery.

Location, location location

The owner/host is wonderful and very good at responding. The house is an older house and charming enough. Our issue is the “Cigar Bar” across the street that is very busy and a little unsettling when arriving after dark. The morning shined a much more calmer and safer feeling.

Kelly, thank you for leaving the house so clean when you guys left. The Torch Lounge can be a fun place to hang out, however, I'm sorry it was so busy during your stay. Safe travels on your way to the beach.

Review

The location was a bit noisy, especially our 1st nights stay. I’m not sure what was happening outside but it was about 2am before it quieted down. The house is old, I understand that, but it definitely could use some TLC!

Quiet neighborhood, comfortable stay

Easy-going, accommodating host with a sense of humor... comfortable, spacious property in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything you might need. A better value for a multiple-night stay, and still worth the money even for our one-nighter as we passed through on our cross-country trip.

Great Stay

Perfect location that was super convenient for us to get to, and an easy drive to shopping and Maxwell AFB. Stuart was super nice and accommodating and the home was clean and comfy, everything we were looking for!

Clean and charming

This was a very clean and charming older home. The bedroom was very specious and the bed was very comfortable. I didn’t notice at the time of the booking that there was no kitchen. I did miss have the convenience of a kitchen and a full size refrigerator. Overall, a nice place for a couple of days.

Nice and Cozy

The property was nice and convenient to get on the highway or quick trip to Walmart. The space was comfortable, cozy and clean. There were little things in case you forgot to bring them that were available for use. Owner is polite and professional. If I ever come back to Montgomery perhaps for the casino or special event. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Comfortable and welcoming.

Stuart was an excellent host who provided all that we needed for a night’s stay while traveling thru Montgomery. We particularly liked the sitting area separate from the bedroom, and enjoyed hearing Stuart’s story about settling in Montgomery. It would be more cost effective if you stay for more than one night, since the cleaning and service fees are in addition to the nightly fee.

Absolutely perfect!

I was in Montgomery doing research and I absolutely loved my stay here. The location, owner, and over all space were perfect. I’ll be back for future research and will 1000% be re-booking this place.

Nice for a quick getaway to Montgomery

Clean and nicely appointed adjoining apartment. Close to lots of the wonderful things Montgomery has to offer. Rental was very clean, except for the coffee maker. New hot water tub needs replacement. Gunk buildup inside. Otherwise highly recommended.

Very convenient location

Very clean property and well maintainted. The ambulance/sirens were a bit unnerving due to the nearby hospital.

Working vacation

Great place to stay in Montgomery. Amazing front porch with a cigar bar going in across the street. Stuart was a great host and took care of any needs. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice property

We stayed for a short trip to the casino. We picked this property because we could bring our dog. Owner is very responsive and left the porch light and inside lights on for us because we were arriving late. He checked on us the next morning to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is nicely decorated and very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed. We will 100% stay here again. Would recommend!!

Enjoyable peaceful stay

This suite was just right for our 3-night stay. It had everything we needed. It was tastefully furnished and the owner was very thoughtful and nice. It was cold and he had the heat on for us, very cozy when we got there. There was a good supply of everything, coffee with condiments, hot chocolate, bottled water, etc. It was just off I-85 & easy access. Convenient location. The owner checked on us to see if we needed anything. It was very peaceful and in a quiet neighborhood. We would stay there again!
