The property is clean and comfortable. The kitchen has what you need and the beds are comfortable. I’ve stayed at the property multiple times and it hasn’t disappointed. The hosts are phenomenal to work with.

Host communicates effectively and quickly. Location is excellent and very close to the beach. It also felt like there may have been a dog or cat in the unit at some point as my husband is very allergic. He sneezed the whole time and had a hard time with his allergies. We come down to this area all the time as my family are locals. Parking was very good and I loved that the unit allowed two vehicles instead of one. I would rent it again. It's very good but it could be excellent with a bit of TLC.

Check in was easy, kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans and cooking utensils. Unit was quiet and friendly residents. Easy access to the beach and not far from the Garden City pier. Property manager was very responsive to any questions or requests.

The Drifter is a peaceful and pleasant place to stay. The host provided a spotless and comfortable apartment, exactly as described. We stayed in this building three years ago, though in a different unit, and it’s clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining their properties. This is a great place to stay and the walk to the beach is 2mins or less. Highly recommend.

Great vacation!

The condo was very clean and conveniently located. My son is 16 and his friend came along with too. They had their own room and bathroom, which was wonderful. My daughter is 7 so the many trips to the ocean weren't daunting bc it was only across the street.

It would have been 5 stars but...

The condo was as advertised. Perfect location, amenities and set up. It was modern and comfortable. My adult sons and girlfriends stayed there while our extended family stayed in other condos very close by. The only problem we had was that for 3 mornings as early as 7am, there was LOUD construction noise that awakened them. Like the condo above was having floors torn out with buzzing and jack hammer type sounds. I wish this was just an isolated thing...but 3 days! We called our VRBO manager and she tried to reach out to the owners where the noises were coming from. We don't know if they stopped because she asked or stopped because they were finished with the job. All I know is they could have waited for off season, and if they couldn't, they could have at least waited to 9 or 10am. The last thing you want is a rude, very rude- awakening at 7am for 3 out of the 5 mornings, there was no sleeping in...on vacation. We asked for a late check out at noon instead of 11 on Saturday, but Connie couldn't oblige. We dealt with this at Water's Edge too so it's all over. I just have to think that these condo owners don't really care about the rest of us who just want a peaceful vacation and many of us waited a year for it. So 3 out of 5, to match the number of days we were inconvenienced and disrespected.

Hi Suzanne, thank you for your review to let us know how your stay was! This is Connie and I am the owner of this condo unit! As an owner, our guests vacation is top priority to make sure all guests have a pleasant experience during their stay! The first time my team was notified of any issues was 3 days into your stay! I wished I would have known from day one of your concerns because they were addressed and rectified immediately! My assistant took your complaint on day 3 of your stay! At that time, she notified myself and I was on it within minutes! I reached out to all the condo owners to see what unit was having work done! At that time, they had no clue, just like myself that any construction was going on that early in the morning. They thought they made it clear that no one was to start until after 9:00am! I believe that communication failed when you waited 3 days into your stay to inform me of the problem! Once I was aware, the remainder of the stay was great! I personally can’t control other condo owners and what takes place in their units, but what I can control is how I handle my guests complaint and communicawith all of the owners and we work together to make sure all guests are happy! In the future, I would suggest not waiting 3 days to bring up the problem, blasting an owner without understanding the situation in full and blaming me for an issue that could of been rectified on the first day verses the 3rd day!

Second time here

We love the location and cleanliness of this unit. The parking is easy. Check in and check out were easy. The property is located directly across from beach access. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Overall, a good place to stay. You must be able to deal with stairs.

Elevator would have been nice, but wasn’t too bad. Master bathroom needs updating, other than that it was a good place to stay.

Beautiful Condo/ great owner

The condo is exactly as described online. Clean and well kept. Right across the arreet from the beach so location is great as well! We were in a bit of a mind due to the disgusting state of a different condo we originally reserved. We booked this last minute and Connie responded very quickly when we messaged he on VRBO about making the reservation, we were able to check in the next day. It saved our trip!

A fun trip

The condo was very clean and the check in and parking process was incredibly straightforward and almost everything was thoroughly explained. A note was even left to explain how to use the tv! Cons: The only downsides would have been that the pool was closed and one of the handles in the second bathroom shower was broken off. A wrench was clamped on to make it usable but after use it continued to run all night because we couldn’t get it to shut off fully without serious force. -no actual control of the ac/heater unit Pros: -quick beach access across the street -super clean home -multiple TVs -pool access during warm months -comfortable beds and nice furniture -super prompt communication with property owner even on a holiday! -would stay here again (:

Great relaxing time at the beach

Very convenient location across the street from beach. It is close to everything but far enough away to be a little quieter. There is also a pool as part of property. Close to restaurants and the pier. Weather was perfect. Two couples stayed in condo and it was the perfect size for that.

Short getaway

The property was neat and clean. The owner was very responsive and courteous. Distance to beach is a short walk. Only downside to the property was the noise levels at night, especially the fireworks.

Beautiful condo close to the beach. Very responsive owner and on property manager helped us to program the new remotes. Only improvement needed was kitchen towels. Beach was glorious and oh so needed!

Wonderful Condo

We really enjoyed out stay here at the Drifter. Manager was so quick to answer when I had a question about parking when we arrived. Condo is very beautiful and peaceful. Loved the open walkway to the beach!
