CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITY CLOSINGS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 27, 2025

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us.

Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.

Welcome to the SunDestin Beach Resort by Scenic Stays, the premier condominium in the heart of Destin situated on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! The onsite Scenic Stays team at SunDestin looks forward to welcoming you to your next beach vacation at our 24-hour front desk. The experience of a lifetime awaits! SunDestin Beach Resort features expansive onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, indoor pool (heated seasonally), outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, outdoor tiki bar (open seasonally), workout facility, event/meeting space, gift shop, complimentary DVD rentals and much more!

Upon entry to SunDestin Unit 1007 you are greeted by a fully appointed, well stocked kitchen for home cooked meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room concept immediately follow, with comfortable seating for 4 guests and a relaxing sofa and loveseat set after a long day at the beach and pool. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and the emerald waters welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating for two. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets directly overlooking the beach!

Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom, while the kids relax in the twin bunk beds located in the hallway. Enjoy the flat panel televisions located in the living room and bedroom both equipped with DVD players. DVD rentals are available in the lobby directly across from the gift shop!

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

We have always loved the SunDestin. We had an overall good stay. There were a few things we didn't like. The room had a smell to it and the floors had sand on them upon arrival. There was little room in the bedroom to get to the other side of the bed and the cable was out a couple nights. The tiki bar wasn't open during our visit but seems like it never is when we are there. The restaurant on site was closed the night we were gonna stay in and eat there. Overall we had a good stay though.

I loved it,The bedroom was a little to small,If it was me I would do away this tv stand and hang tv on the wall,to give it more walking room in front of the bed,And I never found a dust pan,But other than those two things it was great,The view was amazing and the people at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming.The host was always quick to respond back,and very helpful.And I also loved there was plenty of towels and bath rags. for the kitchen if it were me, I would get a few plastic cups for children.. because my daughter being seven I wouldn’t let her drink out of the glasses. I got the coffee mugs because I was afraid she was gonna drop the glasses.But overall I would recommend this rental to anyone. It was very, very clean.

Beautiful Beach

I really enjoyed out stay here. My 2 favorite things about our stay here was the cleanliness of our room and how it looked exactly like the photos online. Another thing we absolutely loved was how close the beach was to us. It was almost like having your own private beach which was great with someone with back and hip problems. The other thing was the restaurant downstairs in condo. We did not want to cook so it was so nice after a very long day at the beach, to order food and not have to leave our condo. The only thing we did not like was the pool area. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Beach was a dream!

This resort was close to everywhere I wanted to be, I had friends staying at the Inn at Crystal Beach. The unit was impeccable and I loved how it seemed all units faced the beachside.

Worst lumpy bed!!!

What is it with air bbs won't keep money invested in the mattresses...might be good to warn there isn't a hair dryer..coffees filters when drip is it...not even salt provided??? Now the noise!!! Yes i knew by reviews that the central air unit was loud in the master bedroom but the construction noise was so annoying. Might need to tell or warn renters only feather pillows in the unit!!

My only complaint would be the AC Unit is located near master bedroom. Is very loud when it comes on. Made it hard to get a restful night sleep.

WONDERFUL VACATION!

Our stay was short, 3 1/2 days, but it was wonderful! The room was gorgeous, very clean, exactly like pictured on VRBO...10th floor, amazing view of the ocean and the breeze was beyond refreshing. I am already looking to book another week at this unit in 2024. Only thing I would suggest to the Host is to add a full-length mirror somewhere in the unit for the ladies....The only complaint that we had was that the air conditioning unit was located in the master bedroom in some type of cabinet right in front of the king sized bed. The box took up a lot of room and the space was already tight with the king bed, however, when the A/C kicked on it would wake you up at night. It was very loud, kind of sounded like an engine starting right next to your head...strange place for the A/C to be located. Check in was flawless, everything you could possibly need right there in one location. Parking was plentiful, even when we came home late... The unit was well appointed as far as towels, kitchen needs, etc. We wish we had a few extra days there....

AC unit very loud

My only complaint would be that the AC unit is located next to the master bedroom. Every time it turns on it would wake you up. Very hard to get a good night's rest. It's very loud.

The bedroom there was barely any room to move around bed. The air condition was very loud in bedroom as well. We probably would not rent this unit again.

Feb visit to gulf.

Very well kept property. Some updates noticed. Nice view if gulf. Bedroom room was tight as was storage in bedroom. Could remove footboard from bed to improve space to walk around. Two bathrooms were nice. Big area around pool with nice lounge chairs.

Review for our anniversary stay

The view from the balcony was a 10/10, and everything was pretty clean. The only thing I would say is there’s a huge red/brown stain on the curtains in the living room and the bedroom is very cramped, to the point that it’s almost impossible to walk to the other side of the bed. Overall nice condo and in good location.

Just enough

The unit was nice enough, but the set up of the main bedroom is an extreme tight squeeze. Basically, you had to use one side of the bed to get in and out of it. It is more of a bare bones unit in terms of the kitchen. There are utensils and plates, mugs etc., but absolutely nothing else. There is no kitchen table either, just the bar to eat at. Be prepared to literally bring everything you need if you plan on cooking, spices, foil, cooking spray etc. Over all though, it did meet our needs for a quick weekend away and was a nice enough unit. If you are just need accommodations for sleeping, then this is your go to rental.
