Resort amenities include exquisite landscaping, decks, and gardens surrounding you in a serene ambiance. Fantastic lagoon style swimming pool offers zero depth entry (no steps) for easy access to swimmers of all ages. Just steps away enjoy the beautiful private access Gulf-front beach and additional beachside resort pool (heated). For extra convenience the beachside pool features a cabana style snack and beverage bar with beach service. Food and Drinks delivered to you without leaving your Beach Chair!

Get away from it all while maintaining the ability to stay in touch with in-room high-speed internet access, cable television and DVD player. Condo unit amenities include washer and dryer, full guest bath, and balcony offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and pool.

Fully equipped kitchen includes all cooking and serving essentials as well as microwave and dishwasher. Master bedroom has king sized bed and large private bathroom. The guest bedroom provides double sized bed and private bathroom access. And the living room offers sleeper sofa. Condo is non-smoking and no pet unit. Renter must be at least 25 years old.

Conveniently located in the Heart of Destin, provides access to The Destin Commons, The Track, Big Kahuna's Waterpark and a wide variety of popular restaurants and shops.

Wonderful Stay

We have stayed at Sterling Shores many times and this time was just a great as the ones before. The unit was just as described. It was clean and well kept. We had to communicate with the owners during our stay and they took great care of us. We definitely recommend this unit.

Exactly what we needed

My group consisted of myself and my four grandsons aged 12 to 17. The property was convenient to the beach and other entertainment venues in Destin. It was clean and although we didn't cook any meals during our stay, the kitchen was fully equipped and ready. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Mom/Daughter Getaway!

Sterling Shores is my favorite place in Destin and we really enjoyed 506 this trip. I took my 11-year-old daughter right when school ended for a few days of sand and sun and relaxation and it was just what we needed. Everything in the condo was great. Thank you for hosting us!

An Absolutely Perfect Family Getaway at Sterling Shores!

Our recent stay at Sterling Shores was truly exceptional, and we can't recommend it enough, especially for families with young children. From the moment we booked, the experience was seamless and stress-free, largely thanks to the incredibly accessible and responsive owners. Any questions we had, big or small, were answered promptly and thoroughly, making us feel completely at ease before and during our trip.The unit itself was immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything our family needed. Traveling with a young child can sometimes be a challenge, but it had everything! From the little touches that made our child feel welcome, to the overall comfort and safety of the space, it was clear that a lot of care went into making it a perfect home away from home. This attention to detail made our vacation so much more relaxing and enjoyable.Sterling Shores itself is fantastic. The beachfront pool and private beach access were a huge hit, providing endless entertainment for our little one and a great way for us to unwind. The location is also ideal!We truly appreciate the effort put into making our stay so comfortable. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

Pros: Property was very clean, excellent location, access to pools and beach, restaurants, etc. Cons: two bathroom condo only left two small rolls of toilet paper for a 1 week stay. Clothes dryer does not work. Dried towels and clothes for 1 hour and still wet.

Condo needs better cleaning

This was our second time in Sterling Shores. We love the zero access pool for our 5 year old and the beach is beautiful. With few little upgrades and better cleaning this condo would be so much enjoyable. Cons: Underwear was left behind in the drawer and slippers under the bed. The floors were sandy, definitely need better cleaning. Kitchen is very basic but sufficient for basic cooking, not enough of teas spoons, only one trash bag provided. Kitchen towel was full of hairs like it was washed with cleaning rugs. Dish sponge was used. I would expect a new one to be provided. Pros: Closet of beach toys and chairs. Close access to the pool and the beach. Condo provided board games and books and DVD’s.

Wonderful views, easy access to the beach

Overall, I’m pleased with my selection of this property. The owners were very courteous and responsive to any questions that I had. The checking-in and checking-out process was a breeze without any stressful complications. The views of the beach from the balcony are beautiful and access to the beach is literally just across the street. The pool was clean and had a play area for children. The condo itself was inviting with the simple, beach themed decorating. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were reasonable. The floors defiantly could use a thorough cleaning, our feet and socks were black from walking on the floors in the condo. I suspect it is from all the sand that renters have tracked in, but the cleaning fee should really cover a good sweep and scrub to the floors. Very basic kitchenware is provided, but I wish they could have been better quality since we did most of our cooking/ eating at the condo. Overall, very minor set backs that could easily be improved. I will fully admit that I’m a clean freak by nature so I found the cleanliness at par and that was the only issue I had with the property. I would absolutely rent this property again in the future and would recommend it to others. My kids had a wonderful first beach experience while staying at this property!

Nice resort, great location

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this location. Great resort amenities, well kept grounds and pools, and conveniently located to all area attractions, even a seafood restaurant basically on location. The condo was well decorated with new floors. Owners provided closet of beach toys and chairs (which we did not use, but I am sure it is welcomed by many who either forgot to bring these items or planned to purchase once onsite). Our issues were only minor, and only slight inconveniences. We were sent the wrong gate and room codes and spent 1/2 hr or so trying to get in. The owners responded quickly and had it resolved. There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom (inconvenient as that would definitely not last the whole week), but we went to a local store to purchase some (only a slight inconvenience as we were trying to avoid as many public locations as possible with the current Covid-19 situation). Highly recommend having blinds installed in both bedrooms as there are lights right outside the bedroom that shine in and make it difficult to sleep. There is an elevator directly in front of the master bedroom, but there was little noise from it and the other guests. We were concerned that it would be an issue, but it wasn't at all. It was actually convenient as the elevator stopped in front of our door whenever we came back from the pool/beach. The one issue we had with the "private beach" is that it was one of the most crowded beaches that we have ever been on anywhere. A company sets up umbrellas and chairs each morning that takes up a majority of the beach with no space in between (concerning especially when trying to social distance during this time). We never got the chance to just "sit" on the beach due to this concern of not having space. We would just spend our time in the water and walk straight back to the pool to sit whenever we wanted a break from the water. The beach and the ocean is beautiful, just hard to relax on the beach with this many people. Most of this beach area is designated private for each condo complex, so there really isn't any public access, but that limits you to where you can sit and relax. Despite some on and off rain, and having a tropical depression in the gulf when we arrived, the water maintained its pristine clear look and never changed. Beautiful water! Overall, great place to stay with only a few inconveniences. Very relaxing property!

Great spot!

Nice condo with just a short walk to the beach and a great restaurant. The complex pool is nice and you get a great view from the balcony. You need to pack trash bags and dish soap if you like to clean as you go, like I do.

Great family vacation!

Our family had a great stay. I would recommend more lighting in the bedrooms as it was very hard to see even with all the lights on. I would recommend smaller furniture in the master bedroom. You can't access several of the drawers because the bed is so close to the dresser. All in all it was a good vacation and the owners were very great.
