Beautiful views in the Hart of Destin

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes the dryer does squeak!!!! A new washer & dryer is scheduled to be delivered on April 29. We planned to replace the washer/dryer and refrigerator in December, the refrigerator made it but washer/dryer is on back order. As of today, it will arrived April 29th. Thanks for staying with us.

I agree it’s a great complex with beautiful landscaping, two pools, fitness center and easy private beach’s access. All right in the heart of Destin. Great complex and location for a fun family vacation. Also agree and would not recommend an adult sleep in any sofa-sleeper. It’s really to accommodate the little ones. BYW, it’s still relatively new…2-3 years old. Glad you and your family enjoy your stay.

I understand you did not experience good weather throughout your stay. I’m sure that was very disappointing. I hope you were able to enjoy the many nearby attractions. We are very fortunate to have our condo located right in the heart of town with easy access to all the extras available. We consider our condo a second home. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, bakeware, 2 sets of pots, blender, mixer, a crockpot, cooking/serving utensils, bowls and trays, a toaster, electric mixer, beverage pitchers, measuring cups, an extra coffee pot and a variety of drinking glasses. Thank you for letting us know we are low on teaspoons. We will be sure to replace those. It’s funny how things go missing. In our welcome letter there are also specifications regarding the inclusive starter items which include 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 dishwasher and 2 laundry pods, 1 roll of paper towels and a clean garbage bag. Because this is a condo, there are no daily room services to replace those items. It is unfortunate some renters unintentionally leave behind personal items, as you mentioned. As a courtesy we often attempt to return these items when possible. We may reevaluate this and dispose of the personal property that is left behind. Our condo is our second home. We maintain a comfortable and uncluttered setting. We have maintained a reputation for consistently providing a clean environment as stated multiple times throughout our reviews. We have also consulted with VRBO regarding your comments and have provided them with visual evidence which demonstrates the elevated level of cleanliness. Our cleaning service, photo documents after each cleaning. This particular cleaning included 19 photos. The representative at VRBO who reviewed your comments and the pictures, reply was, “I viewed your photos and all I can say is that you have a very nice property. It is very clean and very neat.” We observed in the photos, freshly mopped floors, clean countertops, a new sponge, two clean folded dish towels and clean surfaces throughout. We are so appreciative they provide us photo documentation after each cleaning. Regarding your comment “the floor was very sandy”, welcome to the beach. With multiple trips unloading and moving in and out of the condo with the carts, typically results in a substantial deposit of sand on the floors. It accumulates quickly. Included in the welcome letter, as well as information posted visibly in the condo, our cleaning service guarantees a professionally cleaned unit and will respond quickly to addressing any concerns you have upon check in. Unfortunately, we nor our cleaning service did not receive any calls or messages with concerns. This is our home away from home, as well as a vacation rental and we take pride in our home. We're always looking forward to our next visit to Destin!

I’m so happy you and your children enjoyed they stay, especially your children's first visit to Destin It’s a wonderful complex, in a great location, with beautiful views and prefect amenities. The large lagoon pool is great for kids and the beach pool is a nice touch for a quick cool off while on the beach. On the weekends, when our unit is not rented, you will normally find us using it and enjoying Destin. With us visiting so much, we are meticulous with cleanliness and have selected a cleaning company who meets our standards. The wood floors are new, but we have noticed the switch from carpet does result in a sandy flood as opposed to sand being trapped in the carpet. We have also noticed that it just takes one day to create a sandy floor caused from us tracking in the sand. In retrospect, I still prefer the wood over the carpet as the sand can be swept,, floor mopped vs.. being trapped in carpet. Also as mentioned we visits often so the kitchen is stocked with the same essentials we have at our home. So happy you guys enjoyed your stay and all the condo, complex and Destin has to offer. I’m so glad you and your family had a wonderful time in Destin. It’s a great unit and awesome complex. We have made it like home as we visit as much as we can. What’s so awesome is beach services will set up a free umbrella, if you bring your own chairs. They do this to control social distancing between each chair and umbrella, and being a private beach, helps limit who can access it. Alex and his crew do a great Job making sure everyone has a safe space. Thanks for the nice review and hope to have you stay with us again.
