Pontos positivos: Limpeza, check-in, comunicação, localização e precisão do anúncio

This is the most architecturally stunning home I've ever stayed in. The design and layout of the rooms were extraordinarily attractive. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all essential cookware. We were allowed to bring our poodle with us, but the previous pet-friendly policy seems to have lapsed. Too bad. However, the staff convinced the owner that our pooch would be okay, so all worked out fine. Thank you staff!! You were wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Forest House as a most esthetic and quiet "retreat" for a vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd time staying in the Forest House. We knew it was wonderful for peaceful relaxation, and that's what we did. The views are so beautiful that just staying in the house is a treat. The kitchen is well appointed for whatever cooking you have in mind. And you can go for walks from the front door. Why go anywhere else?

Beautiful Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and sitting in the living room is like sitting in the forest. Super relaxing and peaceful place. Never heard a car the entire time in the house and hiked everyday from the front porch. We typically rent on the ocean in Sea Ranch but decided to try something new. Loved it and will be back!

Forest House is fabulous!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so lucky to discover this amazing home tucked in the wooded hills of Sea Ranch. We loved our week stay at Forest House and hope to return often. We hiked the most amazing trails, played golf at Sea Ranch Links, hot tubbed, wine-tasted at Annapolis Winery, cooked in a beautifully equipped kitchen, worked remotely with excellent wifi connection and dined out at The Sea Ranch Lodge. We loved everything about the Forest House and the tasteful furnishing and decor.

The host was not particularly welcoming; there were opportunities for the host to be more proactive, i.e.., by letting us know when the property was ready by text or telephone number. We would also have appreciated the host letting us know whether our security deposit was refunded without having to inquire.

Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear you had a less than stellar experience while staying with us. We pride ourselves on our good customer service and we, unfortunately, missed the mark when you were visiting. We will be launching a Guest Guide experience very soon which may have had answers to your questions in an easily accessible format. We hope we will have the chance to host you in the future. Magical Visit!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Forest House, and it was once again absolutely magical and near perfect. The home is spacious, filled with light and has everything needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable, linens are good, kitchen has absolutely everything you can think of to cook a meal, including basic supplies like olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. There are games and puzzles to fill rainy days, a hot tub right off the master bedroom, bluetooth speaker, television with netflix and disney+, yoga supplies, washer/dryer. I mostly enjoyed curling up with my book next to the window and reading the day away. If there was one suggestion, my kids wanted to watch TV/movies at night and although the sofa is pretty and fits the decor of the cabin, it's not terribly comfortable for lounging in front of a movie (I read in the info guide that it's imported from Europe in the 1950s). We can't wait to come back!

Amazing Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Forest House is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in! The home is cozy, incredibly peaceful nestled in the middle of a redwood forest. The owner's photography was exquisite and we loved the touch of having a photo guide so we could see where all the photos were taken and the backstory behind them. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, including basic spices, sugar, coffee filters, etc, there were plenty of bath towels and beach/hot tub towels, linens were nice and there were lots of spare blankets for cooler nights, nice soap in the bathrooms/showers, clean house shoes by the front door - literally everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We would love to stay here again!

A Gem

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautifully designed and perfectly appointed home. We've rented many Sea Ranch homes over the decades and never has a home felt less like a rental and more like a friend had lent me their place for the week. Comfortable, clean, artful, great orientation to its verdant forest setting. A perfect place for retreat and contemplation.

Lovely bungalow in the redwoods

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is wonderful ... the art, the story, the windows, kitchen amenities, the redwoods. It is a typical rental that sits vacant at times so yes there are a few cobwebs but nothing awful. Will definitely stay here again when we return. It barely has a peek-a-boo ocean view but that was fine with us, we were escaping the California valley heat and loved being at a higher elevation out of the sun and wind. Rental company was great!

Next time we'll plan to cook more in the very well appointed kitchen (thought I would have like to have coffee included.) We enjoyed the proximity to well groomed trails in the woods. We rested in the living room by the windows like cats in the sun.Sea Ranch was as advertised with bluff side trails, the Lodge and the Chapel.Yes indeed, thanks for a grand week out!

The rental property was okay

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was okay, a little misleading on location and how far back you are in the forest. Cobwebs EVERYWHERE!, outside and inside. When checking out, the lady asked our opinion and was rude when we told her the issues. Will never rent a "Forest" house again

Resposta de VrboOwner em 5 de nov. de 2023
