Sandpiper Nest / Unit 28 Lot 16. Sandpiper Nest is located in the ocean side meadow with blue water views. The bluff trail and Walk on Beach are only a 5-minute walk away, making it ideal for small families who enjoy all nature has to offer. The Sandpiper Nest is light and bright with an open cozy floor plan with open beam ceilings. This house has 2 Queen beds on the ground floor and 2 twins located in the loft. Fiber Optic Internet is provided. Towels and bed linens provided.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), parked in driveway. No RV's
Maximum occupancy is 6 for this home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife, our daughter, her husband and I spent 5 perfect days at Sea Ranch. Our rental home was "Sandpiper Nest. The rental home was perfect in every way. Two master suits on each end with a beautiful great room and very large kitchen in-between with large windows and an ocean view.Everything we needed was provided by the owner. The rental home like most homes we have rented was in close proximity to the ocean paths. The home was beautifully decorated and the design of the home was perfect. We all agreed that this rental home gets an A+. The management team, "Sea Ranch Beach Rentals" were very accommodating and the entire process from beginning to end was easy and nicely explained.

Just OK

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the size of the kitchen, dining, and family room and the kitchen was well appointed. The issue was the bed sizes - description said "two queen beds", the beds were definitely full size beds. The biggest downside was the spiders, there were so many spiders. We stayed for 2 of our 5 night stay and had to be moved to another home. The last straw was a huge black widow above the shower, that's when I called the office. The staff was concerned and responsive, thank goodness there was another home available. As long as they keep up on pest service this was a nice home.

We are pleased you enjoyed some aspects of the Sandpiper Nest home but do apologize for your experience regarding the spiders. The house has been treated for the spiders and will continue to be on a pest control program. We hope these treatments will keep the spiders out of the home. In regard to the bed sizes, as far as our records, we show the house has queen size beds and we use queen size sheets on them when making them up for renters. Beach Rentals

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I recommend this house for two couples who are both sharing a bed. The two bedrooms downstairs work out pretty well, but the one upstairs was not very serviceable for us. We had our teenage son in one bedroom downstairs, and our young daughter in the loft bedroom and she was not comfortable staying up there. We had her in our bed and did not sleep very well. There is no bathroom upstairs and the bedroom is at the top of a very steep staircase. This tiny room could work for one teenager who is comfortable being alone upstairs, or a single adult, but honestly it’s not the most comfortable because of the lack of a bathroom, it is quite tiny and collects heat, and the stairs. I thought this was the most important thing to share about this house. The other is that there are no high quality pots and pans and I recommend bridging your own if are discerning about these things. The teflon pans provided are scratched (the rental company knows about this and were very responsive to my suggestion). The home is very much a rental and not terrible loved, but it is in a good location. Sea Ranch Rentals is the best and listened to all my little nit picks. As always, Sea Ranch is a dream and our relative discomfort did not detract from the beauty of where we were.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the third time I've rented this home and everything was as expected. I have grandkids and the upstairs is an ideal setup for them. The location is nice as it's only a 5 minute walk to Walk-On beach. The front deck offers a wind secluded area to sit and read and enjoy the ocean view. The kitchen is spacious with most everything one would need. My only complaint was too much rain this year!

Idyllic beach house!

After renting many homes over the past 30 years, we were delighted to discover this exceptional house. It is very well appointed and comfortable. Having two master bedroom suites on opposite ends of the house provides privacy. We enjoyed the deck with blue water views and walking trails along the bluff are a convenient 2 blocks away.

Great Sea Ranch Getaway

Very close access to the bluff trail which we walked daily. There were a couple of mechanical issues--the ceiling fan didn't work, which caused the heat from the gas fireplace to accumulate in the loft. Also, the washing machine was broken, but we didn't need that. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Long March-April stay at Sandpiper Nest

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I mainly chose this home due to its proximity to Walk-on beach. About a 5 minute walk which means we didn't have to pack into a car and get sand everywhere. The home is open with a very nice kitchen and a wind protected front deck where I did a lot of reading. The ocean view is decent and about what you expect from a meadow home. I generally stay in the north end of Sea Ranch close to the golf course and from this home it's only a couple of minutes drive away. No real complaints about the house except a spa would have been a nice addition.

One detraction was the hot water for showers was just above lukewarm. The water heater was behind lock and key so we were unable to see if it was left on a vacation setting.

Reviewer Comments: This is a great home with two ensuite bedrooms on opposite sides of the house, a twin bed sleeping area upstairs adjoining a large room with a deck, TV, etc. The kitchen is well equipped, there is great counter space, and sufficient empty cabinets to store supplies for a week long stay. Lighting is excellent and there are lots of outlets. The best part is that the owner has clearly made efforts to make this house user friendly and welcoming. A very nice attention to detail.

Second visit at Sandpiper Nest

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family returned to this home for the second time. I'm very familiar with the Sea Ranch area and we love this home for several reasons. It's a 3 minute walk to the bluff trail and walk-on beach is only a couple of more minutes walk so no climbing into the car with kids and sandy feet. The loft area upstairs is perfect for my grandkids and the two master suites are at separate ends of the house. The front deck is wind protected and has a decent ocean view. The kitchen is large and has most of the things one needs for in-home cooking. I hope to return again next year.
