Oceanfront condo located in Margate Towers within the premium grounds of Kingston Plantation. Margate Towers is a secure oceanfront condo complex located within the private gated community of Kingston Plantation. Attached parking garage and a guest ONLY year round heated pool provides a place for you to return year after year.

You DO have access to the pool and hot tub at the Margate complex. *****This is a private rental, it is NOT associated with the Embassy Suites or Hilton on Kingston Plantation. You DO NOT have access to the amenities(pools, waterpark, fitness center, etc.) at those resorts. *******

NEW: Day Pass for Embassy or Hilton Pool Access: Day Pass NOW available for the Hilton and Embassy Pools. Book directly with Kingston Plantation Hilton or Embassy for access. This is an additional charge if desired to use, not associated with Saunders Place Vacation Rentals. Kingston Plantation is a 145-acre private gated beachfront community. There are 23 acres of freshwater lakes surrounded by beautifully manicured grounds and you are located only steps to the beach, a 1/2-mile of wide, white sand beaches! 12 pools (one dedicated to each group of condos/villas), a brand new Spa and on-site restaurants for your enjoyment. We have many options for rental in Kingston Plantation. Right on property is an Embassy Suites Resort, guests are more than welcome to enjoy Starbucks or the newly completed Black Drum Brewery. A short walk to the brewery with indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating welcomes you with many fire pits to grab a drink to relax, along with a large patio for your enjoyment. Indoor or outdoor whatever you enjoy, allows for a beautiful view of the ocean.

*Please note that our guests DO NOT have access to the on-site water park, pools/pool decks at the Embassy Suites & Hilton Hotel nor the on-site fitness facility.

Great place for a nice Thanksgiving

Really enjoyed our stay here. Pros: Beautiful apartment Great ocean view Nice and clean building Cons: Keypad didn't work so we were stuck in the hall for an hour Condo was not properly cleaned with garbage in kitchen, dirt on floors and dirty dishes Overall: A great stay despite the above. If they address the cleaning issue would be a 5 star stay.

Ed I do apologize. I verified what was happening with the lock and cleanings lack of attention. The lock opened easily when they arrived to assist; however, with the difficulty you had we are testing it for potential tech failures. The cleaning was their error. While finishing up, the buildings fire alarm went off, they were required to evacuate. Needless to say they totally forgot to go back and finish. I will refund you part of the cleaning fee as it was not acceptable for you as a guest. Have a great holiday season!

This place saved us!

We booked this place in a pinch, due to our previous reservations being a dupe. The place is huge and we were all able to have our own space!! Loved the separate entrance through the laundry room! There is even an extra sink in there. It came in handy to rinse sand off of the sunscreen bottles. The balcony had a high top table, with plenty of seats for our family and we enjoyed the sitting area with a view in one of the masters! We ended up having such a good time!!

Condo is absolutely beautiful. Neighborhood/community is gorgeous and extremely safe! We loved the fact there was a gate house we someone there 24/7! Room layout was perfect and everyone had room to spread out. Bathrooms were perfect sizes. We enjoyed having the Apache pier very close. View was equally as beautiful as the condo! For us, initially getting in the room (checking in) was tricky because of a simple human mistake of locking the dead bolt, which in turn prevents the keypad from working. Contacted owner and she immediately replied and got us the help we needed! Everyone at Margate Towers was very friendly and helpful. Nothing is overlooked! Fast elevators! Kitchen was completely stocked with most anything you could need! Outdoor furniture for the condo was very nice and comfortable. Indoor furniture and beds were very comfortable. The fireplace was super neat! Water pressure was very good which is usually a disappointment, but not here!! We have already decided we will 10000% stay here again. Heck we would move there if we could! Just rent this condo you will NOT be disappointed!!!! Only disappointment is the day you have to checkout and head home.

Wonderful property!!

This condo did not disappoint at all. The pictures are accurate and it’s just so pretty. Lots of room, the most stocked kitchen I’ve had in any condo, comfortable beds and cozy living room. My husband is in a wheelchair and he could get around so easily. The view from the balcony is gorgeous! Loved the comfy chairs and the high top table and chairs. We sat there every chance we had. The sunrises were beautiful. The pool area and deck were great and clean. Building is secure and there is someone at the front desk all the time. The property is close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. We definitely will be back and recommend this unit! Thank you for sharing your second home with us!

Beautiful condo

This condo was beautiful, very spacious, private bedrooms overlooking the ocean. Very residential, not a lot to do within walking distance, but very quiet safe feeling neighborhood. The house was not very stocked as we had no laundry soap, ran out of paper towels, garbage bags and almost all the TP was gone by end of stay . I did text the number provided and l did not get response . One other thing I wanted to point out is the condo is full of glass. Glass kitchen table , every end table and console table is glass . Glass decor setting on top of glass tables . Non -glass tables and dressers have cut out glass tops. I was very nervous the entire time with 3 very young children. It’s probably just me, but I am not a fan of glass. Complex was very nice, neat and clean, centrally located. Pools and hot tub were very nice and we used them daily. There was 7 of us and we all had a great time. I think most people would love to stay here!

Beautiful and comfortable

This condo is perfect. It is huge and beautifully decorated. Beach views from the living room and 2 of the bedrooms. It was clean and very comfortable. FYI: We have been vacationing in Myrtle Beach for 35 years, so we have stayed in a lot of condos. Kingston Plantation is a well maintained resort on the beach. This area is very popular and busy because it is close to everything. We will definitely rent this unit again.

Beautiful location and condo

This condo was exactly as described in the listing. The condo was well appointed and fully met my expectations. The master bath shower was clogged and a plumber was sent the next day to resolve the problem without inconveniencing our daily activities. I would definitely return to this beautiful property.

Not as advertised

Do not agree top to bottom remodel given corrosion at bottom of shower doors, mold behind shower door caulk, and stained grout throughout. I’ve rented other units of equal or better condition for much less $$. Lots of open area in foyer… a desk would fit nicely for occasional work needs.

This truly was a top to bottom remodel, pictures prior to the remodel you would be shocked to see. I will address the mold with cleaning, mold can grow within 48 hours in consistent damp areas and high humidity areas, which is the case with the shower and in South Carolina in an oceanfront condo. However, cleaning needs to get in there and scrub with bleach and continual spray downs with vinegar to stop grout staining of any kind would be helpful. 2020 was a year like no other, working remotely became the norm; however, most guests are/were ready for a vacation and to get away. This oceanfront condo with a large open beautiful foyer welcomes guests and then looking out the balcony at the ocean, is the ticket to relaxation and family regathering. A work desk was considered, as you mentioned, but the designer decided, "no way", guests need to getaway, especially after 2020. She decided there is plenty of room to put a laptop or work materials on the large kitchen island or dining table. Myself and the owners agreed to her decision and guests have loved it. Safe travels!

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo

This condo was in a great location, right on the beach. We enjoyed the 2 pools especially the one that was heated as well as the hot tub.. Condo was s,pacious, decorated beautifully. Exactly as pictured. Would stay here again. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful Spring Break

This oceanfront condo is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay over spring break. Weather was cloudy and cool but the condo was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. The fireplace was an added pleasure. We enjoyed the sunroom where we watched the ocean, the sunrise and the people on the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living area was large and was a good place to relax and watch TV. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms are large. We liked having the covered parking garage. I would highly recommend this place for you Mrytle Beach vacation!
