2nd Visit as good as 1st!

Second time visiting for a dance competition and love this place. It’s roomy, kitchen is well-equipped and the views are awesome.

This was a wonderful property! The condo was clean, spacious and quiet. We appreciated how well stocked it was and how gracious the owners were with answering our questions. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach itself was surprisingly not very crowded. We would absolutely stay here again!

Peaceful Week Away

We had a fantastic stay at this Myrtle Beach apartment! The space is bright, clean, and exactly as shown in the listing photos. There’s plenty of room to spread out, and we especially loved the large balcony — perfect for enjoying the fresh air. The kitchen is well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and everything was tidy and well maintained.The location was ideal for us — in a quiet, gated resort away from the crowds of central Myrtle Beach, yet only a 15–20 minute drive if you want to enjoy the busier downtown area. The resort has a lovely beach, a few pools, and easy access to restaurants and supermarkets.The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made our trip even smoother. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach.

Family vacation!

Wonderful vacation

Family Vacation

This was our 2nd annual vacation pick in M.B. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The owner was quick to respond with any answers to questions and issues that arose.

Wonderful Labor day/Birthday getaway

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at this property. Everything was as described in listing, with beautiful ocean sunrise views from our balcony. Had a little hiccup but owner was quick to respond and very helpful. Definitely would stay again.

What a wonder family vacation. It was like home away home. Super comfortable, well stocked for cooking family meals, and great amenities. We will be renting next year for sure!!

Excellent rental.

Very nice place. The photos are very representative of the overall facility. Every room has access to a large balcony. Very clean and kitchen has all the pots and utensils to cook a lot of food.

Wow! Clean, Spacious and beautiful.

From making our reservations, asking a lot of questions (which the owners, Bobby & Tammy answered expeditiously) to our beautiful, cozy and accommodating vacation rental; our (3 couples) expectations were exceeded. We are looking forward to duplicating our experience and have decided to make this our go-to Myrtle Beach vacation spot.

Great place for a family!

We had the most amazing time here! The space is large enough for a big family. The kids loved it. We could easily get the to beach and the pool was right outside the building. Tammy answered our phone call immediately when we needed her. The property was clean and safe.

Wonderful vacation

The condo was very spacious, nicely decorated, clean and well equipped! The master bed was very comfortable! The pool deck and hot tub were nice additions to the beautiful beach. I’ve been to Kingston Plantation for the past 13 years and this was the nicest building and condo I’ve stayed in! The owner was extremely responsive…within minutes each time I reached out! A great experience and a great family vacation in the books!

Beautiful, clean, well equipped

We had an amazing experience in 1708. The condo was extremely clean, spacious, and came with all the cooking utensils you could ever need. Our biggest fear staying in this condo would be the elevators and I'm happy to say they were never an issue. We have been staying at Kingston Plantation for many years, and this was our first experience at the Margate, and it was the nicest condo we have ever stayed at. I hope to rent there in the future.

Location is great but the condo needs some work.

The condo location and the view is great. The condition of the condo is very old and needs to be update. The carpets were dirty and stained and looked like they have not been replace in many years. The faucet and shower in one bedroom need repairs. The shower water pressure was horrible and the hot water handle pulled right off. The cabinets paint is peeling in all the cabinets in the kitchen. The tv in one room we could not turn on. The AC unit made a loud sound like a buzzer when kicking on. The cleaning crew just did an okay job from the last stay. We had to re-clean to our liking some areas. All in all, the unit needs updating and repairs.

Beautiful Condo

Owners were very friendly and available if needed for any questions upon arrival. The condo was immaculate and extremely spacious! Myrtle Beach has always been a family favorite; however, this was our first time staying at the Kingston Plantation. It reminded us more of an extremely large resort with pools spaced throughout, but not easily accessible to all. ***Please note this has NOTHING to do with the owner: Margate, in specific, is not the best place to go with small children or anyone who likes to play and have fun… too many rules. However, other pools (i.e., the Brighton next door) was easily accessible and much more lenient, which is where we spent most of our pool time. Overall, I’d give this a 5-star rating for the condo, owners, and cleanliness of the property. Thanks for an enjoyable week in Myrtle Beach, SC!
