This beautiful lake side cottage features stunning sunset views over Green Bay. Outside, enjoy your own private water access, beautiful deck with retractable awning, and the stunning sunset views of Green Bay. Inside, enjoy the bright, recently updated open floorplan, with views of the bay from every room in the house, even the bathrooms! Upstairs the entire floor is a giant master suite that will wow you! During the day, you're just a short drive from all that Door County has to offer, but far enough away for a secluded, peaceful getaway. Only 35 minutes to Lambeau Field!

We're pet encouraging! No pet fees charged!

As is the standard among vacation rentals, 2 motion-activated security cameras are on the premises. One is located outside the front door, facing North towards the public access, and the other is outside the sliding glass door, facing the lake to the West. Both cameras will record video and audio. Neither camera has the ability to see inside the home, and they are used exclusively to verify guest and pet counts entering the home, as well as monitor the lake/ice conditions.

Very cute and cozy space with everything you need for a getaway. This has been the easiest check out process I’ve experienced when renting a space. It was all set for my dog too so I didn’t have to bring anything extra. Great place, definitely recommend.

Very pet friendly which was good for our pup, Zak. Dan, our host was very responsive for our visit. View of Green Bay is lovely and enjoyed the wildlife. Little TLC needed for storm door. closet door and patio doors sticking. Coffee maker was quirky and no paper towels. Overall, the cottage met our needs for the couple days we stayed.

We had such a lovely time in WI at Dan's lake house. Beautiful property right on the water. We really appreciated all of the dog toys and supplies around - our pups in particular felt right at home!!! Thanks for making us all feel so welcome.

January 2025 stay

Stayed for two nights. When we arrived late on day 1 the bedding & mattress cover had dog, cat and human hair on them. We removed sheets to see clump of human/animal hair at foot of mattress pad cover so had to strip that off as well. Had to improvise with what was left in upstairs closet. Some Pillows were old and had stains on them. Took pictures of the hair on bedding, sheets and mattress cover and sent pictures to Dan. Also took picture of cabinets as there was dust / hair on upper kitchen cabinets with dust cobwebs. Asked for the cleaning fee to be returned and was denied. Was willing to pay the rate and taxes, but deserved to have the cleaning fee waved due to uncleanliness of the place but not allowed by Dan.

Fantastic getaway in Door County

This my wife and I's first experience doing a VRBO and we couldn't have asked for a better place and host. The property was as described and very clean. The host was responsive throughout the process. Based on our experience we would do this again through them!

Pleasant Stay

Enjoyable, quiet, comfortable stay with wonderful view. Enjoyed our morning walks on Bayshore Rd. Shore at the rental was great for launching our kayak. Sunsets are very nice from the entire property...including the upstairs bathroom.

Beautiful view of the bay from the porch.. Cannot say that much for the beach!! We had 2 sets of visitors on "private" beach! Stairs should be noted more in description, they are made for younger people, stairs to upstairs bedroom are very steep and long!! Dog pee smell in living room, so we put the doggie bed outside!! Sewer smell around house and on beach!! Property is very remote to restaurants, etc!!

Excellent Accommodations for the Pups!

We thoroughly enjoyed Jiffy's Journey with our two labrador retrievers! Beautiful views, very peaceful and private, and best of all - accommodating for our dogs! We absolutely loved staying here and most certainly will be returning!

Very relaxing!

It was a cute place on the water. It was very relaxing/peaceful but yet close to Door County to be able to do things there as well. Dan was extremely easy to work with and communication was terrific.

Door County getaway!

We had a very nice stay at this property. It is situated between Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay. The house is right on the waterfront and the lakeview is lovely. Comfortable king size bed, clean house, friendly host.

Great place to relax with views & sounds of the waves

Our family (including 2 pups) had a great stay at Jiffy's Journey! The location is in a quiet, remote area south of the more touristy areas but close enough for us to explore all the coastal towns and bays of the peninsula & Washington Island. The home is clean, comfortable, & decorated nicely. The Hosts provide many thoughtful amenities that make vacationing with pets easier & fun. We enjoyed grilling and watching the beautiful sunsets on the water!

Ice Fishing Trip 2022

This is a nice property in an an excellent location right on the lake! Great to wake up every morning with an outstanding view of Green Bay. The home was clean and nicely organized when we arrived. The host was accommodating and communicated promptly when I had questions. I would stay there again and recommend the property to my friends and family.

Door County Getaway

We had not been to Door County since the kids were little. We had a few days off and decided to go see the fall colors. We had a great time. The house was great. Great location, dog friendly, very clean, beautiful view of the bay. The owners have thought of everything you might need. We hope to go back next year.

Fall Road Trip

The home is nice and located directly on the waterfront. However, the large deck in which you enjoy that view is under both video and audio surveillance. The owners claim the surveillance is solely used to keep an eye on lake conditions but is clearly situated so that they can both see and hear everything happening on the deck and fire pit area. My conversations are not all that interesting but while on vacation I prefer not to have my private conversations listened to by someone else. I’ve rented many homes through VRBO with surveillance on the property but none have been as intrusive as this one. We were made aware of the cameras after we booked the property and did not realize the extent of the surveillance until after we arrived. After my complaints, the owner has added the surveillance to the property description on VRBO but is still misleading as to the extent of the surveillance as it is clearly focused on the deck. If you like being watched and listened to while on vacation this is the perfect property for you!

The Journey house

Very nice house, well appointed with fantastic view of Green Bay, nice deck. Stairs to upper floor are steep. Not difficult to locate properly very easy access. Overall very nice accommodation for younger family, kind of off beaten path.

From personal experience, we know how hard it can be to travel with your dog. To that end, we're not only dog friendly, we're dog encouraging! We don't charge pet fees because we believe your dog should enjoy the trip as much as you do!

The house is named Jiffy's Journey in honor of our dog who passed away from Cancer in 2020. She never got the chance to stay here, but playing in the waves, digging on the beach, sniffing through the yard, and sleeping on the deck would have been her favorite, so since we always think about how much she'd enjoy it, it only made sense to make it hers! We also plan to offer the house up to Canine Cancer groups for "One last great experience" for terminal dogs.

The house has a wide open floor plan, with areas for working, dining, and relaxing that you'll love! There is so much natural light, and the sound of the waves is so peaceful! The huge deck offers a grill, dining table, and a power-retractable awning, and of course the unforgettable sunset views!
