Welcome to this inviting, quaint waterfront lake home where everything you've imagined becomes memories. This is the true Hidden Gem to fulfill a quiet stay over looking the serenity of the bay side of Lake Michigan. The property sits in the calm bay leading out to wide open lake. You will experience the angelic sunrises and sunsets that Door County has to offer. If you are looking for a premium fishing spot, look no further. If you prefer bird watching, you will see a variety. This property sets the backdrop to all stories of the seasons. The experiences you've imagined are right here, from the panoramic views, the biggest catch, first catch, campfires, sunbathing, low key celebrating, ice fishing, sport fishing, kayaking, and the list goes on.
There is a laundry room, the kitchen is set for the views, and great conversations around the table or counter island. The patio, is set right off for easy entertaining for grilling and picnicking. One master bedroom that sleeps two, and the second bedroom sleeps two.
The property is a short 10 minute drive to the heart of Sturgeon Bay, where you will find convenient shopping, restaurants, seasonal entertainment, and much more.

This house truly is a hidden gem! We loved every bit of our stay. The views are breathtaking and the house itself was very clean, cozy and inviting. The host was very responsive and provided the essentials. We will definitely book here again in the future!

Peaceful Lakefront Getaway

We loved our stay at this hidden gem. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The view was spectacular! We enjoyed sitting by the lake and having a fire. We would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here in a heartbeat!

Relaxing

Clean and well-equipped. Close to the water. Quiet. Great views of the bay from inside and out. Comfortable places to sit and read or watch the birds. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. Manageable drive to sites further north on the peninsula.

This place is well worth the money it had everything you could need in a stay we were all set and actually didn’t have to use half of what we brought with us! The pictures don’t do it justice the view and house itself are fantastic and peaceful. If I could afford a year I’d stay as long as I could ! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway that’s not to far from Sturgeon Bay, and the host was so kind and helpful as well as accommodating beyond my wildest dreams! We plan to come back next summer and rent from her again

Great time in Door County

Wonderful home on Little Sturgeon Bay on the water. Abundant wildlife contact. Great water views and access to kayaking and canoeing. Host thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Beautiful, well kept home. Just pack a bag for casual living and bring a fishing pole if you like. We had a great time! Looking forward to coming back.

Great little get away!

Amazing and relaxing location. A little bit of a drive to see the more famous locations or pick up groceries, but can’t beat the relaxing backyard view of the lake. Host was extremely communicative.

Very nice spot for easy water/ice access. More comfortable than most fishing rentals. Beautiful views, day and night.

Very Private

All was great with the property and the agent. Only disappointment was the bay. It is so full of grass/weeds that you can’t fish.

Lovely Getaway

This house is a great place for a family vacation. We enjoyed the beautiful water views, kayaks and fishing from the dock. (We did not swim due to thick vegetation in water.). Pretty sunrises and sunsets can be watched from the large deck. Inside is small, but cozy and thoughtfully appointed. So much is included here that will save you packing - extra linens, beach towels, games, toys (baby - 10), coolers, laundry detergent/dryer balls, sound machine, baby monitor, pots/pans/utensils/seasonings, fish cleaning knife, roasting sticks, and the list goes on. It is a quick 15min drive into Sturgeon and one hour to the tip of peninsula to catch the Washington Ferry. My family of 5 had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Great spot right on the lake

Truly a "Hidden Gem"

This property is located on Sturgeon Bay and the views of the water are panoramic across the property. The water can be seen from nearly windows on the property and is only about 50 feet from the water. The property owners were most helpful and truly cared about our comfort and preferences.

Quiet Getaway Spot

If you want to get away from the downtown hustle and bustle, this is the place! In a week there, we only saw ducks, geese, one lone swan and two fishermen (once). However within ten minutes you can find wonderful spots to eat or even Christmas shop. I did both!!

Hidden at a dead end with other homes around but very quiet. Clean, welcoming touches, serene lake view and the communication was great with the host. The many geese arriving and departing was entertaining every day! We recommend this VRBO!

Bird-watching on the Bay

Lots of interesting birds to see during the day and stars at night. Even the Milky Way if you turn off the lights.

Beautiful Stay

While the weather did not cooperate we had a very nice stay! The owner bought our first bundle of firewood. Very clean, beautiful view of the bay! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing spot to stay while enjoying Door County.
