The guest had no complaints or communication about any issues during their stay. A gate was damaged during their stay and when a small repair fee was requested, they then said they were unhappy with shutters stored against the house and pool chemicals stored on the side of the house. Guests knew they damaged the gate but did not want to pay for the repair….

It is very hot in the Keys in the summer. The air conditioner runs not stop in the afternoon heat, but the house cools down to 70 degrees. I checked the house prior to their arrival. I replaced a baking sheet and fry pan from the kitchen cabinets. I never saw a diaper. The guests made no complaints until day 6. I would have had the cleaning girl address any concerns if they had let me know when they checked in. On day 6 they said a toilet wasn’t flushing. Within an hour my helper checked it and said it flushed but was slow to fill. I called a plumber and the part was replaced with hours. The renters prior to these guests left a 5 star rating on a competing website. I will always promptly address any concerns or problems.

I do have a professional cleaning company. Unfortunately, they do not clean as promised. I have hired a new company. And I have replaced the pillows. You are the first person to complain about them. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. There is a sign that the silver slider is locked for child safety. You were not supposed to use it. The pool man found the leak in the pool skimmer. Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope you join us again for your next vacation.

My cleaner checked the dishwasher and it does run. He emptied clean dishes from it from guests after your stay. He wipes down the microwave and refrigerator every cleaning. Renters use the dock every booking and no one else has complained. I will have my dock maintenance man check it.

The house is thoroughly cleaned between renters. These guests never contacted me to say there was an issue. I would have sent my maid back to take care of any complaints. The counters, drawers and cabinets are wiped down each cleaning. The floors are washed. Of course the sheets are washed and the beds are made! That comment that they washed the sheets was absurd....

The air conditioner cools down to 70. In the heat of the day, it is warmer in the house, but certainly not 82. My yard man told me the kayaks were gone. I simply asked the guests if they saw them during their stay. I then asked the renters next door if they saw the kayaks. They told me a kayak company came by and took them. So I informed the guests that the mystery was solved. Not sure what that issue was about. There is always an extra propane tank left at the house for the grill. And there is a microwave and stove for cooking…if there is a problem with the house, guests can contact me and I will send my cleaner back.

This guest had no complaints about the cleaning or the property until the 6th day of their stay. Then demanded a full cleaning credit AND an adjustment on their rental fee. Told him I would have had my cleaner return to the property to address any concerns if he had given me the opportunity. But he didn’t. He waited 6 days knowing it would be too late for my cleaner to return to clean/document his work. Doubtful a renter would stay in the house if the conditions he stated were all true. And not complain the first day. He hoped to reduce his rental expense. I declined any adjustment to his fees . I have discussed his concerns with my cleaner to be sure everything is cleaned properly.

I checked this house 2 days prior to their arrival. The house was in order. I sent my cleaner back twice and he was told not to bother cleaning the items on the list. This renter would rather have a reason to ask for a FULL refund. After spending the entire week at the house...... Before their arrival I checked the TVs to make sure they were working because the ATT remotes can be sensitive. The floors were clean as well as the kitchen and dining room table/chairs. All had been wiped down. The house was dusted, bathrooms were clean. All linens clean. Within 20 minutes I responded to this renter’s text stating he was unhappy and said I would send my helper over with mop, bucket and cleaning supplies and he would take care of any concerns. He arrived and they did not allow him to mop the floors or clean anything on their list of issues. They said they would do it themselves and asked to keep the mop and bucket. They continued to complain, as evidenced in both texts and voicemails and they show my timely response. I sent my helper back to the house with the list of items to be wiped down. Again, he was not permitted to do any cleaning. They said it was ok, they would take care of it themselves. I removed the cleaning fee since they were unhappy. The renter stated on two occasions l needed to make this right. After an entire day of trying to get the requested items wiped down, I realized they were not going to permit anything to be corrected to “make it right.” They were looking for a free vacation. My license is current. For 15 years I have many returning, happy guests. I will not fall victim to renters that complain but won’t let their concerns be met. Just to ask for a full refund...If they were so unhappy, they should have left on the first or second day. I would have then refunded their money. They can’t stay at the house the entire 7 days, not let my cleaner try to reclean any items, turn him away, then ask for a free vacation.....
