The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

All Oceana Resort properties are equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites.This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. I would stay here again.

Comfortable, very clean and the staff is very friendly. Entering the door combination was difficult and took multiple attempts, however after they replaced the battery we unlocked the door on the first try almost every time.

Nice inexpensive stay !

It was so nice staying by the ocean . Room was smaller than it looked in the picture but very nice ! Full kitchen and bathroom . It came with all the dishes and cooking items needed! Stay was nice and helpful !

Pictures were a little deceiving

Parking was easily available. The pools were well kept. Lovely ocean front balcony view. Overall it was fine, but the pictures made it look more modern and well kept than it actually was.

Didn’t care for the room (the tub and sink was backed up, and there was hair in the bathroom and on the outside chairs. The only thing I loved was the beautiful beach view.

Our stay was great! Property was clean. The location of the front desk was not the best due to being right in front of the only two elevators so it was crowded at check in. The property could use a little TLC, a coat of paint, etc. The refrigerator was too close to the door and the cabinet drawer, and was inconvenient. However, the price was very affordable and location was great! It was clean and I would stay again!! The property itself was beautiful and all of the pools were very nice!

Short college visit

Everything fine with the room. A little snug between door and fridge on entrance. Issue was with balcony smokers and marijuana smokers. Stayed off balcony most of time for that reason.

Good location-a few not great things

The location on the beach is great. The room was clean but in an older building. Dog friendly means that the management will not ask anyone to have their dogs be quiet, even in early morning or late night. The management also does not regulate smoking cigarettes or marijuana as we could smell this often. They also do not regulate noise and often there was noise until midnight of people talking loudly. The beds are also old and creak a lot. Pillows were nice. So, if you can go along with those things, the place is great!

Last vacation of Summer

I love Ocean Park Resort. I HATE when people don’t cleanup after their pets. The majority of people do an excellent job but, there are a few that I’m afraid are going to ruin it for everyone. Before this occurs I hope the resort implements a HUGE fine for individuals being irresponsible et owners. The resort is great and I love that it allows my fur babies to come on vacation with me. I have two Australian Shepherds and I love that they can travel with me. This room was perfect for me, my husband, my mom, and my grandbaby. It was clean and the resort was well maintained. I will definitely book at this resort again. My only issue is when I booked I was not made aware of a daily $25 per day per pet fee. The Ocean Park paperwork said $20 but, the front desk attendant said it was $25 and automatically generated the charge. This was not detailed in my booking reservation. Everything else was great!!

The hotel is a scam. check in time is 4 and check out is 10. Your checking in late to only have to check out early. The pictures online do not match the room it self. Every thing was out dated very old run down furniture. For $260 for one night you will expect better. Hotel room was probably really worth $100. The front desk staff was very nice and have very great customer service. Other than that the hotel is best used for the pools. When we first arrived our room was not ready. Wasn’t able to check in on time. The stove was dirty from previous guest, room was very dusty. Housekeeping need to take there time and management need to take the time to check. As a housekeeper myself I didn’t mind cleaning and dusting while on vacation. With better housekeeping and better furniture the hotel will be great. If not lower the price 🤷🏽‍♀️

Small quaint and roomy.

Husband and I came down to decompress from a couple stressful months. We absolutely loved our room. It was small yet soo roomy. The workers at the checkin desk were so helpful. We actually enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an additional night, we had to move rooms and the employees made that swap happen fast. We checked out and. Checked back in within 2 hours. No waiting til 4pm. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks guys.
