Our stay was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed watching the deer. from the front porch in the back porch, the Jacuzzi was the cherry on the cake. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

It was secluded and quiet, yet at the same time not far from town (about 10 min drive). I loved that there was so much wildlife around as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing 3rd visit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my third time staying here. There are signs of aging. The concrete bench at the outside table was broken. The bathroom ceiling right outside the shower is delaminating as a result of moisture. It seems the cleaning company may have changed as the house's HVAC and exhaust vents need to be cleaned as well as having the spider webs removed from the intersection of the ceiling and main beam. On the amenity front, I was left with 1 pouch of coffee for a 4 day stay; a Keurig would be a nice addition. Finally, there have been additional properties added in fairly close proximity to Celtic Cottage, so, if your neighbor decides to leave their back porch light on all night, you are going to lose your view of the stars. Kind of sad this wasn't taken into consideration when planning the new rentals. This property has definitely lost some of its attraction since it now feels like you are staying in the city. It simply doesn't offer the seclusion it once did. I am honestly not sure I would come back unless a privacy hedge was installed similar to the other side of Celtic Cottage.

10 Year Anniversary

It was simply amazing! My husband and I loved the peacefulness and seeing the deer on the property. It was great getting to reconnect with each other. Didn’t worry about work, or just everyday life where we sometimes get lost or caught up in the routine of it all! Will definitely do this again! Loved relaxing in the HOT TUBE!

Wonderful Get-away

We had a wonderful get-away. Very quiet. Very clean. Property is actually better than pictured. More trees and rural feel. Deers came right up to house. (Bring some deer corn and scatter in back - great fun). Many birds visit the feeders in back. Saw in addition to deer - Turkey, wide variety of birds, rabbits and more. Property management very responsive. Grounds keeper as well. A truly special and unique experience.

Perfect Honeymoon Spot

Wife and I had only a few days to get away for our honeymoon. This cabin was just the right spot, a few hours drive from home but far enough away from everyone. Close to town of Fredericksburg without being in town. Will definitely stay here again if get the opportunity.

Special Birthday weekend

We had such a great time at this cabin. It was everything we wanted. Extra quiet with deer running around everywhere. We cooked on the grill instead of waiting in lines in town and enjoyed the hot tub as well. We will return again. We loved it!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed all that Fredricksburg had to offer and able to scoot out of town for private sunsets and sunrises. Cozy, clean and affordable.
