Livery Stable During the civil war period the Livery Stable was used as the "livery" for the Confederacy in Paducah, Kentucky. Built above ground this 2 bedroom log cabin has been completely restored and is the perfect place for a romantic stay for two or a fun filled getaway with friends or family. If Rustic charm with modern amenities is what you are looking for Livery stable is the perfect place for you! If you have a larger group of up to six you can rent Livery stable and Grist mill log cabin together. Located right next door to Mr. Gatti's.

**Please note, cabin is located close to the Hill Country SPCA, so occasionally barking can be heard**
- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

We really liked the rustic charm of the cabin. But I would say the property around was not well kept. The grounds around the cabin did not look like the pictures online. There was not a tv in any of the bedrooms which my boyfriend and I like to watch tv before bed. The internet was not very good, we had a little bit of difficulty in getting the tv programs to stream and the Netflix was in another language. I did love the jetted tub and the master bed was very comfortable. The cabin was clean and the host was great!

Sadly, was just ok.

Communication was a little weird. Seems they have multiple people (3, via VRBO plus another for cleaning and/or emergencies). We went out for the day and came back to a very hot room. AC broke. Offered us to stay in their other VRBO, but it was not clean. Stated they could clean it though. I would think, even if not booked, why wouldn't it already be cleaned? Got a text stating they changed the linens and wiped the toilet down if we did choose to change our mind and stay there. 😬 And the photos I have of the filter, disgusting!!!

The interior of this place is wonderful. Comfortable rooms with quaint decor. Wi-fi is good. Both bedrooms are very nice. Could use some maintenance. Burnt out light bulb in the bath, two door handles that fall apart. The only real drawback is the location. Right next to Hwy 16. Inside is quiet, but if you want to sit outside, the road noise is pretty bad.

Fluffy towels, a hot tub and a comfortable bed made our stay enjoyable. Guests need to be aware that there are 15 stairs to haul luggage up - not a problem for us but could be for others. We liked having Lady Bird Park so close for great pickleball mornings. Noisy highway traffic may bother some but we were ok with it. The pizza place has great pizza but you are a few miles from other options for food and shopping. Note that you will need a cooler full of ice ans there is only a dorm fridge and there are no options but a toaster and microwave for food prep. The deck is nice for sitting outdoors. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others for a short stay. Our host was very responsive when our coffee maker broke and immediately replaced it that same day.

Clean quaint bens were wonderful. Road noise a problem on outside deck. Busy pizza restaurant next to property’s parkingStairs were tricky. Host needs to tell renter there are plates cups silverware toaster and hot plate. Thank you.

Comfortable and Convenient

Although there was a king bed in the room attached to the bathroom, I stayed in the room with the queen bed because it overlooked the lovely little garden. The location was close enough to downtown Fredericksburg that it inky took a few minutes to get there, but it was far enough out to avoid the hassle. Everything was very comfortable.

Family Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at the Livery Stable. The rustic atmosphere is exactly what we were hoping for visiting from Florida. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning and evening. We’d definitely be back the next time we visit Fredericksburg!

Very unique

Loved the unique decor. Having 2 bedrooms was great. Very quiet despite being on a busy highway. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the outside deck.and unlike other rentals, the owner provide little amenities such as coffee, creamer, shampoo & and other things. Easy drive to shopping & other activities. Great place for this mom & daughter team to have fun and relax!

Cute as can be

Great location, grocery store close by and shopping close too. Needs a good dusting, iron rail on back balcony was not attached to house. Scary moment when we leaned on railing. Never mentioned the steep steps up to the door. All in all, this couldn’t be cuter, convenient and great for pictures. I would stay here again but would ask some questions first.

We loved our stay!

The Livery Stable was very comfortable and relaxing. My complaint is that I had no idea it was upstairs. I never saw or read that it was upstairs. My friend and I are older and find climbing stairs very difficult. We made it though. We just took them slow and easy. My other complaint is the shower head. I think it needs a good cleaning or replaced. Overall our stay was nearly perfect. We love Fredericksburg and really enjoyed our stay. We will recommend your place to everyone we know.
