Quaint, yet spacious beach cottage. Home newly renovated with a warm modern aesthetic. This home is perfect for families, located just two rows back from the beach.

The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master has a queen bed with an attached bathroom. This room has a television. The guest bedroom has a queen bed with a conjoining bathroom to the third room. The third room has single bunk beds.

The kitchen has all new appliances and a peninsula with four bar stools. The dining area is large and has a farm style table that can seat up to eight. The living space is equipped with a very comfortable sofa and two chairs. This space has a smart television and a cabinet full of games and puzzles. The home also has a chest in the living space full of toys; convenient for those traveling with little ones.

Traveling with a baby? Let us know. We are an approved partner of BabyQuip, the #1 baby gear rental service, and we’ll connect you with a provider who can deliver baby gear right to this property! Don’t bother hauling it with you. We have a pack and play and clip on high chair on site, if needed.

Best of all, there is a spa-like, newly built outdoor shower with a rain shower head. The home also has a newly built back deck furnished with an outdoor dining table, chairs and two lounge chairs. This area is perfect for viewing the epic sunsets. A charcoal grill is located downstairs.
The front porch has three rocking chairs and a porch swing, great for enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

Wow! It felt like coming home every evening. Good proximity to the beach with public access. Brooke was such a wonderful host and thought of everything. Always a quick response with any questions! My boys enjoyed downstairs the most and I was inspired to redecorate my own home! We’ve already booked this home for next year! Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Wonderful Week

This property is very comfortable, great beds and linens, amazing outdoor shower, quick walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood, porch swing where we enjoyed a delightful breeze while reading. We didn't use the first floor. With all the rain this spring it was damp and musty. We probably wouldn't have used it anyway - we were 4 55 friends on our annual trip to Holden Beach. The basement would be great for kids to watch TV, play Ping-Pong, and hang out.

Cute cottage, Great location

Love the family environment of Holden Beach. This was a cute little cottage 5 min walk from the beach, in a great little neighborhood. We spent every night out on the porch swing!

Definitely a repeat!

Our family of 6 had a great visit! The house was spotless & exactly as pictured. Kitchen was well stocked and everything functional. The kids never complained about the walk to the beach so you know it was short & easy! Grocery store, shops, and restaurants were all close by. The owners were super responsive & helpful. If a beach vacation is in the cards for next summer- we will 100% return!

Cute Cabaña!

This was a cute little beach cottage! Perfect home base. Check in was super easy as all the info was emailed a few days before our scheduled arrival. The cabaña was clean and well stocked. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The entire place looks like the pictures listed. Our favorite features of the home were the covered front porch and outdoor shower. The perfect ending was this morning we saw a double rainbow over the house from the front porch! I saw some reviews mentioned hearing the ocean from the front porch. We could not but that could have been because of the traffic on ocean blvd or because the house is second street but technically 4 rows back. A few things to note- The AC works AMAZING in this home and we were grateful for this. However the AC is extremely loud at night while trying to fall asleep because the unit is right outside the master bedroom window. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be bothersome. The upstairs refrigerator is small. We planned to cook most meals in the house but this refrigerator was too small (especially the freezer space) so we utilized the basement refrigerator. It was a bit inconvenient having to go downstairs every time we needed something. We used the upstairs one as a drink fridge instead. Lastly, we kept losing internet connection. We have family movie nights often and weren’t able to so that was a bummer. We just spent more time on the porch. All in all we enjoyed our stay and think you will too.

Lovely, quaint, quiet

This cozy cottage was perfect for our family of five. We enjoyed being away from the busyness of Ocean Blvd. The beach was a convenient walk and we enjoyed time on the porch each day! The host was super helpful and responsive.

Beautiful place! Great location.

This property was wonderful for our family of 5. It was extremely clean and the decor had such a great vibe. We hope to return to this home again. My parents had a place at Holden Beach when I was a kid, so we were very familiar with the area. This location is perfect in proximity to restaurants, the beach and the boat ramp. We brought our boat and 2 large vehicles. There was plenty of parking. Thank you for allowing us to use your home.

Happy in Holden

We rented this cozy beach bungalow for a week. My husband, myself and our two adult sons shared the house. There was plenty of room for everyone and the bathroom between the boys rooms was perfect for them to share. The owners have shown much attention to detail when renovating this house. It is cozy, comfortable and has everything you need for a terrific stay. Although we did not prepare meals in this house (the rest our family was in a another rental where we gathered for meals or went out to restaurants) the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. We enjoyed cups of coffee and tea on the porch. In the morning and evening you can hear the waves crashing the sand. Such a nice place to sit back relax and take it all in.

Cute Holden Beach House

The house was very nice and overall was what we were hoping for. It was homey and comfortable for 5 adults! The rental is for the whole house so there was no worries about shared walls or disturbing others with late night games and quiet music. The location and access to the beach was great and the outdoor shower was a big bonus for after the beach and more. Just a little heads up, I’m sure it was in the description when we booked but I was caught off guard by the need to bring our own linens and towels, but understand that is becoming the norm. We had to do a little scrambling but it ended up okay. The HVAC unit is located just outside the master bedroom window and it had a bit of a squeak but the provided sound machine helped to mask the noise. This was our very first NC beach trip ever and we would definitely enjoyed Holden Beach and the house!

Excellent all around

We had the best time at Holden Beach! Can’t say enough good things about our stay — the house was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed with a fresh aesthetic and many comforts of home (Especially traveling with kids). The location is excellent — 5 minutes to the beach, and a nice family stroll to a playground, coffee shop, and ice cream shop. Brooke was so friendly and communicative through the process. We’ll definitely be back!

Simple, Practical IKEA Paradise!

We really enjoyed our week at Cabana Cornelius! This house was perfect for my husband and I, with a drop in family member and a friend on separate nights. We cooked most meals in due to the well stocked kitchen. Adorably decorated with IKEA simplicity - this house had the necessities without the extra clutter. Loved the convenience of the well-stocked outside shower!

A Gem At the Beach

July28 We loved this property! Great location. Short walk to the beach access and the wagon that is provided makes all the difference in the world for lugging all the stuff. In addition there are several beach chairs and lots of kids toys. Close to places to eat and the Food Lion is close as well. We were four adults. Although the property is on the cozy side there was plenty of room for us. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Outside shower was outstanding with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Kitchen was small but had all that we needed. Second frig located downstairs with great ice maker so we never had to buy ice. Washer and dryer downstairs worked well. Rocking chairs on front porch were comfortable and great place to have morning coffee. When we arrived we immediately noted that the property was very clean and there was NO musty odor that you sometimes sense at beach properties. Street was quiet with little traffic. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and we are looking forward to hopefully return next season. Thanks Brooke!

Long weekend trip

We booked this property at the last minute due to a cancellation. We are so glad that we did! The house was very clean and just a short walk to the beach. My kids loved the bunk beds and having their own bathroom. We loved looking for shark teeth and fossilized sea biscuits on the beach. We definitely plan to visit again.

The Family Beach

We had a wonderful time in this cute little beach house! It had everything we needed but was neat, clean and uncluttered. We enjoyed the brief walk to the beach each day and utilized the beautiful outdoor shower each evening. This was our first time at Holden Beach and won’t be our last. The beach was beautiful! It was easy to watch our kids in the waves because there weren’t a ton a people. Our kids made friends with other vacationers which was a sweet little plus. Thanks for sharing your beach house with us Brooke and family! It was exactly what our family of 5 needed to start the summer!

This home is equipped with toys, games and books for kids of all ages. The outside has ample space for playing and relaxing while not on the beach. The front porch has rocking chairs and is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise.
