Grace Sunset Suite

New suite with private entrance and driveway. You have access to the entire top floor of our carriage house with two decks, outside seating area, propane grill, full kitchen, bar seating area, 50” TV, and just a quick walk (about 300 yards) from the best Michigan sunsets and beach access! This is in the top of our carriage house which is on our property and is a short distance from the best walking, hiking, bird watching, and biking trails in northern Michigan with many breathtaking views of Lake Michigan from the bluffs. We are just a quick few minute drive into Frankfort where you will find beautiful beaches, pier, tons of shops and yummy restaurants, historic movie theatre, Stormcloud Brewery, 4 ice cream shops, parks, etc. We are about 35 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes if you’re looking for an easy day trip. This is northern Michigan at its best! We have another property nearby we have been super hosts with for 5 years so we know how to take care of our guests!

Amazing!!

This was the perfect property to celebrate myAnniversary with my husband. It was in a great location, with easy driving to sites north and south. The beach at the end of the road was the best part! The owner was super helpful with tips on what to do. I 100% can’t wait to go back!

A Great Getaway!

From the quiet, peaceful location to the cleanliness & great layout of the rental, my stay was excellent. The owner was always in quick contact with any questions that I had during my stay. A short walk to the beach and a just a brief drive to town, this place was the perfect location for a great getaway.

Lake MI - charming, quiet, relaxing

Perfectly peaceful, great brews and grub in Frankfort, and Beulah. Beautfiul ride along Crystal Lake. Perfect place to meander down to the Lake for sunsets, then rest up after exploring.

Short getaway with teenage daughter

We had a great time in Frankfort. Kim was a wonderful host, was very helpful and provided a lot of information. The location was perfect, close to a very nice, less crowded beach. We enjoyed the beach, restaurants and sand dune hiking. Very comfortable place to come back to after fun activities.

10-yr Anniversary Trip

We had a great experience at the Sunset Suite and will definitively try to return for future trips to the area. Everything was clean and well stocked with anything we needed, communication with the host was very detailed and helpful, and the location was amazing. Beautiful sunsets and stargazing just a short walk away, as well as close to Frankfort (drive or bike-able), as well as numerous other attractions in the area.

Perfect for newlyweds

We got married at the Frankfort beach with our reception at the Lifesaving Station. Kim's rental was an amazing location, a quick drive to the ELSS, quiet and walking distance to the beach on the Elberta side. It was quiet and clean and the perfect size for two people.

Lake Michigan sunsets!

We had a great stay. Kim, the host, was responsive and paid attention to detail from the beginning. The kitchen was well stocked with basics for cooking. The access to Lake Michigan at the end of the street was great fir sunsets and beach days. Would definetly stay here again!

This was perfect. The cottage is fantastic. Location worked great for us for biking running golfing kayaking. Host very friendly gave great recommendations for restaurants stuff to do etc. highly recommend this place

This was our second stay here. It’s a great place for a couple, plenty of space and the couch opens to a bed if needed. Kim is a great hostess and there is plenty of information available for the Frankfort area. Driving in can be a little tricky the first time but a breeze after that. There is a nice walking beach at the end of the road (several steps to negotiate) though. You will be close to all the shops and a beach in Frankfort. Point Betsie is 15 minutes north and Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore is about 30 minutes north. Bring your camera or phone camera, there is lots to remember.

We loved our stay at the Grace Sunset Cottage! The location was perfect for us; close to Crystal Lake and Frankfort. The Michigan beach near this rental is beautiful and somewhat private. We loved Kim and Corks pups, the gardens, the everything.Perfect size for two of us and the air conditioning was much needed some evenings! Already signed up for next year.

We had an amazing time! The suite is in a prime location for many beautiful lakes! Our favorite being Crystal lake. The name says it all! We had fun boating, fishing, tubing etc. We met up with other family members that stayed elsewhere but when surprised by an additional couple of kids or hosts were more than welcoming for them to join us. Kim and Cork were fantastic hosts and Kim was more than available with any help or information we asking for. The suite was beautiful and very spacious. We will most definitely be coming back!!

Frankfort Vacation

This property was just as described in the listing. The bed was comfortable. The streaming and internet worked well. It was a comfortable place to stay. It was more like staying at a friend’s place than a VRBO. Kim and her husband were very nice and very easy to communicate with. I’m looking forward to my next stay already!

Great sunsets at Grace Sunset Suite!

We came upon this property entirely by chance and it did not disappoint. Communication with the host was excellent, both prior to arrival and during the stay. The suite was well appointed with anything that we could have needed - even a binder with maps and menus for local attrations and restaurants! Very clean and well maintained. The location was exactly what we were hoping for - quiet (dead end road) but within a short walk (and 91 stairs!) to the beach on Lake Michigan. The overlook to the lake was quite popular at sunset time, but should still be considered at hidden gem. We loved it and will look for availability next time we come to town.
