We had a wonderful stay! The place was lovely, quiet, and peaceful. You feel secluded in the mountains, yet you’re only 10 minutes from shopping and less than 30 minutes from Asheville. It’s a great home base for exploring the area, with easy access to hiking and other nearby attractions. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking, and Hillary was a wonderful hostess. We would happily stay again!

So nice and easy to grill some steaks on the little gas grill and hop in the hot tub at sunset. Host is kind.

We were skeptical about sharing a house with the owner, but Hilary and Dan were great hosts. Although they live upstairs the space was very private. We did enjoy the morning visits from the chickens and the occasional check in from Callie. The hot tub was great for watching the sunset. It is obvious that they take pride in the property and thought of every convenience to make your stay enjoyable. From coffee and snacks to the bottle of champagne on ice set out for our anniversary. We would definitely stay again.

This was the nicest, most relaxing & beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. Very clean, great outdoor view & space to hang out in nature. Hosts were extraordinary, so welcoming & very responsive. All the little touches of home made it even more special. I give it the highest rating possible…10 stars? Nope. Make it 100 stars!!!

Hostess, Hillary, was most gracious and accommodating! Property included everything we needed and more (i.e, provisions for hiking, s'mores for the fire pit, various games and books). The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. The property is indeed a little piece of heaven, as described: beautiful and peaceful! The day starts with the mountain mist and ends with the sunset. The hot tub is a bonus:)

The property is beautiful. We felt like we were in a tropical paradise. Host met us as we pulled in. She explained how hot tub worked and how to use it properly. Interior space is well decorated, and I loved the soothing peaceful atmosphere. My family enjoyed our stay.

Just the relaxing weekend that we were seeking! The unit, outdoor space and views were incredible. Everything was clean. Hilary and Dan were super friendly and respectful of our space. This was my first stay where the owners lived on-site. Due to modesty, my traveling companion did not feel comfortable using the hot tub since the owners were near. This is not a bad reflection on the stay though.

Hilary and Dan were incredibly gracious hosts and really made my stay top-notch. They both went out of their way to provide one-of-a-kind hospitality, from Hilary's initial introduction and home-baked banana bread to Dan waking up early and clearing the snow off of our cars! This stay is on an absolutely breathtaking property with two of the best hosts I have ever had. I could not recommend this highly enough!
