Chalet Beau Caillou is an OVO Network property. It is a five-bedroom, five bathroom chalet for up to 14 guests (including 11 adults) in the small hamlet of La Gruvaz, between St Gervais les Bains and Les Contamines.

With a nordic bath, sauna and summer pool (May to October), it's got all the ingredients you need for a great mountain holiday.

The location is just as exceptional: Beau Caillou is the last house on top of a hill, with spectacular views over the valley and the mountain range. In winter, in the event of heavy snowfall, it is strongly recommended that you use chains and a 4x4 vehicle to access the car park at the chalet. If in doubt, you can leave your car at the bottom of the hill at the La Gruvaz car park (400m walk from the chalet). Vehicles with low chassis are not recommended to drive up to the car park around the chalet.

Accommodation is set over three floors, with the bedrooms on the upper and lower floors. This makes Chalet Beau Caillou a particularly good choice for a group of two families, who can each have a floor to themselves. Three of the bedrooms are large doubles with their own bath or shower rooms. There's also a room with three single beds and an en suite shower room, and another bathroom with a bath and separate shower opposite the fifth bedroom - a dormitory -style room with five bunks.

The spacious open-plan living area on the first floor opens on to a fabulous wraparound furnished terrace, with views over the beautiful valley and mountains beyond - you can even see Mont Blanc. The sleek contemporary kitchen has a large range cooker, two dishwashers and two fridges, to make cooking for a large crowd a pleasure. You can all eat at the large dining table or perhaps out on the terrace, with a view of Mont Blanc.

Chalet Beau Caillou is certainly a special place, so if you're looking for great mountain sports and luxury facilities in the heart of nature, you won't want to miss it!

In the Summer, the outdoor pool is available from 01/05 until 15/10.

Pets are allowed upon request and with the owner's approval. Please contact us before making a reservation. There is a large outdoor car park around the chalet entrance. During winter : in the event of heavy snowfall, 4x4 cars and snow chains are strongly recommended. If in doubt, you can leave your car at the bottom of the hill at the La Gruvaz car park (400m walk from the chalet). The property manager can help you transport your luggage to and from the chalet (using a Polaris Quad Ranger for 6 people). An additional cost of 75 euros (per journey) will be charged by the property manager and this service is only available by prior arrangement when arrival and departure times are agreed. During summer: the chalet is accessible in summer with a 4x4 and most other all-wheel-drive cars are easily accessible. However, the chalet is not accessible to cars with low chassis. Swimming pool: the outdoor pool is available from the 1/05 until the 15/10 and the Nordic bath is closed during this time. The pool is 1.8m deep at its deepest, the deepest end has a lever to stand on for kids This chalet is ideal for family holidays and relaxing getaways. It is not suitable for large group gatherings. Parties or events are not allowed.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.
