Edgewater Condominiums is a complex full of amazing amenities! Beachfront pool area (heated- SEASONAL Mid-November- Mid-May), hot tub, tennis court, and private beach access! The condo entails 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. The interior of this condominium was recently remodeled. Brand new floors throughout, new kitchen and bathroom countertops, and new showers!

Vacation meals are convenient to prepare in a roomy, fully equipped kitchen that opens to the dining and living area. The spacious master bedroom hosts a king-sized bed. The guest bedroom features a full-sized bed and a twin-sized bed. Two full baths complete the conveniences of this splendid beachfront condominium here on South Padre Island.

Best condo we ever stayed at. Was so clean and beautiful view.

Edgewater condo 503. Best condo we ever stayed at. Was so clean and beautiful view. Loved the decorations and warm colors. Amazing, clean pool. My only wish was for a recliner in the living room. The living room chairs weren't comfortable and pillows kept sliding out. Elevator quit for a day, but grateful I wasn't in it when it happened. Had to take the stairs to go to the beach that day with all my stuff from 5th floor. We will be back at that same condo next time.

Review of Edgewater

The elevator didn't work in the building for all but 2 days which was very inconvenient when carry luggage and groceries up to the 5th floor. The door locks were changed and we didn't know when we left and had to find the grounds crew to let us in until we got the new code about 2 hours later. Then the codes for the doors and gate were different. Some still had the old code and some had the new code.

Very close to beach with great views

Very close to the beach with great views from the balcony. Only takes a few minutes to get to the water. Condo was a nice size for our family of four. We had a great time.

Wonderful Unit

We were completely happy with the condo. We look forward to some day returning. Unfortunately, both my husband and myself became quite ill and used the reference in your book to find an urgent care facility. The one on SPI didn't have a doctor, so we went to the one in Port Isabell. I was misdiagnosed and had to go to Brownsville. My husband got better, but i had to visit my doctor upon returning home. i thought i should let you know since the reference phone numbers were in your documentation. I hope this was helpful.

Our room stay was great, only wish the smell from the standing water between the condo and the beach was flushed out , made for a lot of mosquitoes while trying to enjoy beach time and then pool time later in the evening.

Great condo on the water

Nicely situated on the top floor for a smaller condo unit. Grounds were very nicely kept with pretty flowering bushes. Enjoyed the luggage carts for taking items from vehicle to room. Room had everything we needed. All switches are clearly identified. Supplies enough for our stay. If we stayed longer term, the wine cooler would be nice to use. The views were spectacular of the gulf and beach. There is a path out to the beach, but it was flooded from the marsh. A call to property management and it was taken care of the next day. We opened the bedroom window to hear the sound of the water and beach. The sash came crashing down and would not close, but property management again had someone out there quickly to close it. The condo was nicely decorated and furnished. And had all the appliances and kitchen utilities we needed. The outside deck has several chairs and table for relaxing and enjoying the gulf views. Very nice watching the sun rise and moon rising in the evening. Parking was in a secured parking lot. Not that this was required, just a nice added benefit. We really enjoyed this condo and being a smaller unit with less people. The property management was always there for us when we needed them. Would recommend to anyone and would enjoy this condo for a longer stay.

Great Stay

The property was super nice and clearly updated recently. The kitchen was well equipped but was missing some items that would have been nice to have, ie full set of knives, flatware, glasses, etc... The usual missing items of rental properties. The beds were very nice though and well above the norm for padre. Great location an and no stairs to the beach which was awesome! We decided to try it for the first time this year and got the beach toys packages from SPI and it was well worth it. Great gear in excellent condition and the cart was great that came with it too. Delivered to the room before we got there already packed so it was instant setup for the beach! Didn't have to take up space in the car for the trip and was worth every penny! Definitely will be repeating this stay next year!

Very nice accommodation

Everything about this unit was first class. All of the appliances worked well and the decor was very pleasant. We will definitely consider Edgewater 503 for our return trips to SPI.

Lovely Beach Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The view was excellent and beds were comfy. Would have been nice to have coffee to get us started but we managed!

SPI condo at Edgewater

The property and location were great. It was nice for our family of 5. A few beach toys and chairs were available to use, although the chairs were not sturdy. Check in/out was easy. Pool was heated and warm! Overall we would stay here again.

Great place

We stayed here 3 nights on the last leg of our trip.the place was very spacious and had amazing views of the ocean. I'm very picky about places being clean and up to date. This place did not disappoint. Double vanity in master bath was nice and beautiful tiled showers in both. Flooring looked new as well as cabinets. Washer/dryer was a definite plus especially with the detergent that was free and clear. Got almost all our laundry from our 10 day trip done before going home.

Wonderful Condo

This condo is amazing from the view, to the space, the kitchen...just everything. We had such a great time staying here. The facilities were perfect. The pool was clean, hot tub was great at night. Walk way to the beach was right outside the pool area. Quiet building with really nice people. Check in and check out was super easy, wifi worked. No issues here. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect - So Clean & Nice

Since this condo is on the top floor, you walk in the door and it looks like the ocean is in your living room. The Edgewater condo is my favorite on the island. It's small, extremely clean, and literally right on the beach. I love this particular unit because it feels clean and brand new. Great kitchen, nice new floors, etc. The master shower is nice, too. Even better for remote workers like me, the wifi in the Edgewater is very fast. That's why my wife and I only rent at the Edgewater: we know that it can handle Zooms, downloads, etc. And kudos to South Padre Island Rentals. Amazing how they always have staff members to help you at all times. They're a big operation, and they do an incredible job.

Great experience

Nice Condo

We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater 503! The condo was very clean everywhere except for some hair in both showers. It was very roomy, and the groundskeeper was extremely friendly. There was some confusion with the wristbands because the property management office only had 2 to give me. They said they’d bring two more to my room, but they never did. Though there are signs saying “wristbands are mandatory”, I saw nobody wearing one. I enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning from the balcony. The outside showers were wonderful, and the pool and hot tub were clean and never crowded. Overall, it was a fabulous stay, and I would recommend this room to others!

We found the condo mostly in good shape. There was a problem with the dryer and the refrigerator door was a problem. If it wasn't closed solidly, water leaked inside. The door gasket really needs to be replaced. The other issue was the exposed wires and hole in living area wall would be an issue for people with small children. The condo was clean and SPI was very responsive.
