Fall Discounted rates for newly remodeled by Pisgah, General Store, State Park

You'll find our newly remodeled inside and out, (formerly The Pink Cottage) ideally located less than 1/2 mile from the Holland State Park Channel, the Big Red lighthouse, Holland State Park beach and around the corner from the new Mt. Pisgah trailhead and the General Store. This cute two-bedroom, one bath cottage has a private, fenced yard and large outdoor deck with remote-controlled awning, patio furniture, picnic table and Weber grill. Located in the Holland State Park Resort area, this 'Dutch-clean' cottage provides a delightful, cozy place to get away and truly relax.

Inside the Pink Cottage, you'll find everything is new ( as of April, 2021). The master bedroom features a queen bed while the second bedroom has two twin beds. LVP flooring, large composite deck with chairs and picnic table, retractable awning, kitchen including a dishwasher and disposal, large tiled shower, carpeted basement rec room, books galore, and central air conditioning make this the perfect vacation spot. Wi-Fi also available. NO smoking or pets are allowed. Beds have blanket, comforter, and pillows but guests provide their own bedroom, kitchen, and bath linens.

Just 1/10th of a mile down the road, you'll find the Lake Macatawa beach and playground area. Around the corner, you'll be at the brand-new General Store where you'll find the best ice cream around or stop around the other corner, and you can treat yourself to a Dune Dog! The Mt Pisgah trailhead is only a few steps from the cottage and a walk through the woods and up 238 steps (yup--we counted 'em!) will bring you to vistas of Lake Macatawa, the Channel, Big Red and Lake Michigan!

The Pink Cottage even has wagons to tote your snacks, towels, and toys to the beach. We have beach chairs, umbrella and "wonder-wheeler" for your use.

Great place to stay

This place was a treat. Great for a couple or a family of 4. It really made our trip extra special. Clean, comfortable and cared for. We would absolutely recommend it and would absolutely stay again.

Holland Cottage

We really loved staying at this neat, restored small cottage just outside Holland State Park. Very clean, cool restoration, nicely decorated and well equipped cottage right by all the fun of Mt Pisgah and the state park.

Adorable Pink Cottage

Very relaxing, peaceful place to stay. Very clean with all the amenities. Near the beach and the beautiful Cottage Walk. Very well-maintained and wonderful deck. Highly recommended!

Beach Getaway

The property is extremely nice, updated with thoughtful amenities and in a great location. Close enough to the beach for most people to walk. There are also places to sit and watch the boats in lake Macatawa within a block. It’s a lovely little cabin in a beautiful spot. We’ll definitely be back.

Very nice, comfortable cottage!

The pictures don't do this very nice cottage justice. It's very comfortable, nicely decorated and located a 15 minute walk to beautiful Ottawa beach or a 6 minute drive to the smaller, quieter beach at Tunnel Park. And only a minute to fabulous ice cream at the General Store or hot dog stand out front.

Great Property!

Easily walk to the beach and take along the wagons, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, and balls provided by the hosts! What a relaxing and carefree vacation! Loved the ceiling fans in both bedrooms, cool A/C, and well-appointed kitchen. It was great to have access to a washer and dryer and ample hooks to hang up our gear. Super clean! Can’t wait to return.

The pink door house

We loved our visit at this beautiful home close to the beach and while we were visiting during our very busy Hope College graduation weekend The owners are exceptional with communication and offered last minute help with linens which I so appreciated. The house is so lovely I wish it were my own.

The Pink Cottage is Perfect!!!

Everything about this cottage is perfect. My wife and I were in Holland on a biking trip and stayed here for several nights. The location is superb - within walking distance of the beach, close to restaurants and biking trails. Bob and Carol provided beach chairs and a little red wagon to get everything to the beach. The cottage itself was clean and quite comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

Charming cottage by the beach

Bob and Carol have raised the bar on rental properties. This cottage was in immaculate condition, had all of the modern conveniences and appliances while maintaining the cozy cottage charm of the area. We walked to the beach, enjoyed ice cream at the shop next door, enjoyed miles of walking trails, and were a quick 5 -10 minute drive to stores and town for Tulip Time festivities. The cottage was perfect for us 4 ladies on our girls trip! 5 stars!

Great trip for our family!

This property worked out so well for our needs. We wanted something that would easily allow us to walk to the beach with our 4 and 8 year old kids (which we did every day). Being so close to Dune Dogs was a hit with our kiddos too. We loved the deck, and ate most of our meals out there. The kids also loved playing in the yard. The proximity to the Mt. Pisgah trail head was also SO wonderful. We enjoyed renting kayaks on Lake Macataw (twice!) as well. This is a true lake house that was clean and, though not fancy, was absutely perfect for a really wonderful time as a family. The owners were also so kind and provided wonderful commjnication.

Best. Rental. Ever.

We're so blessed to be able to stay at the Pink Cottage. This was our third visit. Just the right size. Super comfortable sleeping. I love every single aspect of the cottage, and the point that sealed the deal? Central air. Not just air conditioning. I have an autoimmune disease. I can't breathe in the summer without central air. Thanks so very much!!

Charming cottage in a great location

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay. There is off-street parking and wonderful outdoor space. The home is clean and updated and has tons of storage. The bedroom with the queen size bed has a very large closet and a dresser which allowed us to settle in nicely for the week. There weren't photos of the bathroom in the rental listing, so we were pleasantly surprised to find a great bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and wonderful storage for all of our linens and toiletries. The location of this property is fantastic. The beach is within walking distance and there are great trails surrounding the property. Downtown Holland is just a short drive away and there is plenty of eating, drinking and shopping to be had. We didn't have any additional needs while we were there but the owners were attentive and available should anything arise. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Great stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage – great location, walked everywhere. Was surprised that there were no bath/kitchen towels. As noted on the listing, linens are also not provided. Other than that, we had a great time and hope to come back! We also appreciated the highchair, coffee maker, bikes, and beach supplies.

We love Holland State Park and everything around it! Our cottage is the perfect spot for whatever vacation activities you have in mind---walking, swimming, ice cream, relaxing! And, now that we’ve added on and totally remodeled inside and out, it’s better than ever!

We purchased this property in 1998 and each year we've made improvements. In 2021, we completely remodeled our cottage inside and out! We stay for some time before and after the season to make sure that our guests have everything they need to make their stay a great one.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We love sitting on the big back deck absolutely relaxing, walking up Auburn to the Boardwalk Beach, going around the corner to ice cream, Dune Dogz, and climbing Mt Pisgah. Perfect location for whatever you've got in mind for your time in Holland.
