Oceanfront stunner in Emerald Isle

Top Notch East is a wonderfully furnished and fully equipped oceanfront duplex (East side). Located just steps from the beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of Emerald Isle, dolphins are frequently seen from this home. This lovely home comfortably sleeps 11 guests and is equipped with free wifi, cable, and TVs in all bedrooms.

This spacious duplex has ample room to spread out in the well appointed kitchen and open living/dining room space. The two dining tables seat 12 with additional bar seating for four. Also on this level is a full bathroom and a large soundfront bedroom with a twin and queen bed. Three bedrooms are on the second floor - 1 oceanfront king master suite and 1 oceanfront queen, both with deck access and 1 soundfront bedroom with 2 twin beds). The entire third floor is an oceanfront master suite with private deck.

A private, spray off area and outdoor shower (with hot & cold water) make clean-up easy. There is an outdoor charcoal grill with picnic table seating.

We were a family of 10 staying here for a week for Thanksgiving. We had the best time ,it was so comfortable and you felt so welcomed. Amy was very accommodating for anything I asked for. The house was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to cook a Thanksgiving meal. The bedrooms had the most comfortable mattresses. There was no problem sleeping. The weather was great and we definitely hope to come back.

This was a wonderful experience. The little things: make up washcloths. Shampoo in the bathrooms was unexpected. Nice touch. Beach chairs in boxes on the walkway.

Overall really enjoyed our stay. Great location on a quiet section of beach, loved the beach toy box, 3 levels of decks, and heated outdoor shower.I was a little worried about sound due to it being a duplex but honestly never heard anything from the other side all week.One suggestion for improvement would be to add blackout courtains at least to a few of the bedrooms. All the rooms have basic blinds but the rooms get pretty light as soon as the sun comes up, would be nice to be able to sleep in late on vacation for light sensitive sleepers.

Great location

Beautiful view and house was large enough for the 9 of us. First night I had to wash the comforter on my bed as there was a large brown stain on it. The kitchen items were in need of replacement if you plan to cook like we did. The pots and pans, can opener, wine opener were awful. I ended up buying some of these items at Walmart. TV in living room did not work. No basics were provided like in other rentals- no hand soap in the bathrooms, no Kleenex etc It was nice having linens provided. Overall good house but if you plan to cook bring your own supplies.

Great stay

We enjoyed our week here. The house was a great fit for our family of 9. The kitchen was very well equipped and the location was fantastic. This section of the beach was not as crowded.

Family vacation

The house was beautiful and the sleeping accommodations were perfect for our group. The view of the ocean from multiple locations in the house was spectacular. The short walk on the private boardwalk made getting to and from the beach a breeze. We found that all dishes, utensils, and appliances we needed were available and in good working order. Check-in was easy and the host was accessible and very responsive when we did have questions. Highly recommend the Fish Hut Grill for casual dining. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing house and location!

We had booked this house for my sisters bachelorette weekend getaway and it was everything we had hoped for. Enough room for all 9 of us to comfortably hangout and have sleeping room. We loved being able to walk right out of the house and onto the beach. We had such a great time and the host was amazing! She always responded to my messages in a timely manner and was very nice! We would 100% stay here again for other vacations!

Ocean front house

Absolutely loved the place and the direct access to the beach. Loved having the 3 levels of decks. Was great being able to wake up, open the door and sit on the deck with coffee with the ocean for a view. The house was spacious and very comfortable.The owner, Amy is very quick to respond and resolve any issues if you have any. She was an absolute pleasure to rent from. If we come back to the area, will try to rent this place or at least try to rent from Amy if possible. The beach has very nice soft sand making for a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the ocean and warm breeze. I really appreciated that Amy seems to have a team that takes pride in their jobs and takes quick action if there’s a need. She didn’t just grab the cheapest service available, she went for a team of character. Very impressive esp in today’s workplace mentality. If you choose a property that Amy owns, you won’t be disappointed, because if anything comes up, it will be taken care of quickly.

This was just what we were looking for and so much! House awesome, views spectacular! Very nice place. The manager allowed us in a couple hours early since we arrived earlier than expected. Practically had the beach to ourselves.

Worn and Tired

We rented Top Notch beach house for a wedding weekend. The house furnishings are well worn and dated. The whole house needs updating and a deep cleaning. Showers are stained and shower curtains are dirty. Mattresses are all old and in need of replacing. The entire house smelled of bacon grease (I guess courtesy of last guest.) The refrigerator and freezer greeted you with a strong fish smell every time it was opened despite lots of baking soda. The outdoor shower does not drain and created a small pond between the carport and back stairs. The grill was rusty. The ocean views from the back porch are fantastic and access to the beach is very convenient.

Beautiful and very comfortable house

Great location on the beach and easy to get to. Very nice interior, and fully furnished for guests -- even storage containers and lots of pots and pans. And even noticed highchair and portable crib. Not needed for us, but nice to see them there. Kitchen easy to work in and plenty of room for others to hang around. All the bedrooms very comfortable. We stayed on top floor and appreciated having the entire floor including bathroom for ourselves -- in winter it was very comfortable, not too hot and not cold. Nothing to complain about. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Beachfront property!

Fantastic property, great communication from the Owner throughout. The house is in a quiet side neighborhood with direct, private beach access (ocean-side) but also only a short drive to supermarket/stores. Beautiful views of the ocean from multiple balconies on each level of the house. Every bedroom/bathroom/shower was very comfortable. A/C works great, Wi-Fi was strong, kitchen was expansive and fully functional with all of the cooking/serving items we needed including a charcoal grill outside. The house is well-apportioned with std beach items (chairs/umbrellas, etc). No complaints whatsoever, it literally had everything we needed or wanted.
