The bee’s knees

This holiday home is in such a magnificent location, right on the water, glorious views of the mountains on Moorea. It was furnished in comfortable local style, the beds were extremely comfortable, parking was great, close to great restaurants. It was the bees knees.

Our family loved our stay at Villa Ohana. The location is beautiful and the property is quite large compared to other Villa's we have stayed at on Moorea. Very private and quite quiet.

Beautiful location and views

We stayed at two locations on Moorea this holiday. Ohana on Cooks Bay and another on the Lagoon. Both locations were amazing, Ohana has a nice large section with beautiful gardens and amazing views. The snorkeling is good here and is quite different to the lagoon. Great location!

Beautiful Villa that lived up to our expectations

The Villa is perfect for a holiday Moorea, everywhere is accessible by car and its not far from the ferry and supermarkets. We had a wonderful stay, good facilties, great kayaking from your own beach. Would definitely recommend to others. Good check in/out and communication, the management company were always happy to answer questions.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay for our family of 6 at Villa Ohana. We loved the home, location, and our experience. Our only low light of the trip was the continuous stream of seaweed that accumulated on the private beach. While this likely can't be controlled, just would be good for others to know. We still loved the house and would go back next time.

Best vacation rental ever

To anyone considering a staying in Moorea, this is the place. The location on Cook’s Bay is the best spot in Tahiti. There is great kayaking, with two single kayaks included in the property. We cooked most of our rooms in the unit, the kitchen was excellent, well stocked. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, responding within minutes to any questions about Moorea or the property. Our family concluded it was our favorite vacation, rental ever!

Beautiful house with great views

This house had the most amazing views of Cooks Bay and its cliffs. I was not prepared for how enchanting the views were and how lovely the island of Moorea is. I would say it was my favorite island. The house itself was very well done with super comfortable beds, great outdoor space and a large kitchen for cooking. I recommend staying here and would highly recommend it.

Great location with private beach

Hello, we loved the place . The 4th bedroom needs improvement : 2 beds and nothing else - NEEDS furniture , a place to hang out clothes , put personal stuff away . Spiral stairway does not allow for luggage to be brought up- too narrow

Fantastic Experience

We had a fantastic experience at Villa Ohana. It is beautiful, well-kept, clean, and the management company is well-organized, communicative and attentive. The villa was everything we expected and then some. They provide concierge services that we did not take advantage of, but I'm sure are first class, like everything else. I highly recommend Villa Ohana. Five stars all the way!

Beautiful house in beautiful Moorea

The property was an excellent fit for the 4 adults and 4 children in our group. We were able to swim out 100 feet from our private beach to snorkel. I saw tropical fish I'd never seen before. We used the kayaks daily. The sunsets from the lanai were gorgeous--you just need to wait until the sun disappears behind the mountain across the bay for the sky to light up in gorgeous colors. We found Allo Pizza across the street to be very convenient for dinner. We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Rudy's the night before we left. After a hike up to the top of the mountain, we had a lovely lunch at Lilikoi Cafe. We also took the boat to Coco Beach for a relaxing lunch and afternoon of swimming and snorkeling. I would definitely return.

This has a beautiful location on cooks bay. The ac in three bedrooms works well and showers and beds are good. We enjoyed our stay and Martha clearly works hard to clean and maintain the house and garden. However, Tamara consistently said she would help sort out why we weren’t getting hot water after check in and through Sunday - she said someone was on their way when no one ever showed up until 48 hours later on Monday. Turns out that the hot water (bringing a locked door so we couldn’t access it ) was turned off. Having been on a boat for eight hours on Sunday we really needed that hot water! This was fundamental to how we felt for two of the seven days. No consideration was given. Ohana did arrange ferry however and communicated well

A perfect week at the bay

This is beautiful home. We had 7 people in our group who stayed, 3 adults and 4 kids. We loved this house. It is very well decorated, has beautiful furniture, comfortable beds (a/c in bedrooms), immaculate yard, and well stocked kitchen. It is almost a perfect setting on an almost perfect island. We had such a wonderful family vacation here. I didn't know if I would like us being on the bay, since I thought this probably wouldn't be the best beach area or snorkeling area. However, I was so blown away by the views of the mountains, the cute little beach, the rock wall that you see fish/rays/sharks almost daily from, the gazebo, the beautiful tree with wonderful lights at night, and the grill we used almost daily. The extra things like floaties, pool noodles, a couple snorkels, lounge chairs, outdoor shower, picnic table, and more, were very useful as well. We even saw a decent amount of fish snorkeling by the drop-off just past the buoys. There are better places to snorkel, but they are only a short drive away. All of the interactions I had with the staff were so helpful and they are such kind people. They did awesome communicating with us even though we don't speak French. They will help as soon as possible. They truly wanted us to have a wonderful experience, and my family and I are truly grateful for the week at this ouse.

Right in the Middle of Paradise

What a wonderful place to stay! My family of 4 was very comfortable in this spacious house. It was amazing to have such a beautiful view right out our back door, and be able to relax by the water without having to go anywhere. A major plus was an excellent reef for snorkeling about 30 yards offshore. We are big snorkelers, so we were out there just about every day - so convenient! The kayaks were fun and easy as well, and we watched several sunsets right from the back yard. Other plusses include comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a super helpful host. We were there in July and the weather was very comfortable, so we did not need the AC, but the 3 downstairs bedrooms were equipped with it. Also there are a few markets close by, so it was easy to get what we needed to make our own food. And Moorea is small so it's easy to get anywhere on the island if you have transportation. Some things to know: if you're coming from the US, bring power converters! The house is wired for 220V, and I'm not sure you can get them on Moorea. There is a clothes washer, but no dryer so be prepared to line dry your clothes. The 4th bedroom loft appears spacious, but I don't think is has AC so it might not be as comfortable as the others in hot weather. But I really can't say enough about what a wonderful place to stay this is. We ventured out quite a bit to enjoy local food and the beauty of the island, but it was such a treat to have such a wonderful view without having to go anywhere.

Tout était parfait ! Maison de charme très fonctionnelle, bien équipée et agréable à vivre, très propre et bien entretenue. Brasseurs d’air et clim dans les chambres spacieuses avec des lits grand confort XXL. Un grand jardin ombragé et éclairé le soir pour des barbecue sous les étoiles. Des transat et des kayak pour profiter de la mer, avec un joli Fare potee pour le farniente et les apéro. Bel emplacement dans la baie de cook juste à côté de plusieurs magasins d’alimentation et supermarchés. Merci à Marine pour sa disponibilité pour rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable.

Magnifique panorama

+ Heureux d’avoir pu profiter des 2 kayaks mis à disposition. Magnifiques ballades sur la baie de Cook. Le jardin est très très agréable et bien entretenu. La vue est splendide. La maison dispose d’une petite plage privée. Bel emplacement. Lieu parfait avec des enfants. Accueil très chaleureux. - La maison est prévu pour 8 personnes. Nous étions une familles de 5 personnes et la cuisine ne disposait pas suffisamment de vaisselles. Les équipements sont très vétustes et à changer. Le Grille pain est prêt à rendre l’âme. poêles, casseroles en Téflon toutes rayées…le four ne fonctionne pas car d’autres clients l’on cassé. De quoi faire juste 2 lessives. Prévoir des bouchons d’oreilles car les réveils au chant du coq commencent à partir de 3h45 du matin ! À 750€ la nuit la maison devrait être beaucoup mieux équipée avec du neuf.
