This is the second time we’ve rented this house with the same group so obviously there was a want to return. We wound up getting into town early and asked for an early check-in, which was arranged by Jamie. She has been such a pleasure to work with and made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work panhandle getaways!

Beautiful property perfect for our family of 12 including 3 grandchildren. Children loved the pool, close location to the beach and the beach chairs and toys included at the house. The location was perfect next to the grocery store and dounuts, pizzas and burgers. The only negative we had was teh elevator in the house was broke when we arrived. The main area is teh top floor which is 40 steps from the lower level. This got old after carrying everything upstairs ( luggage, groceries, children) and down the stairs. Anyone with issues doing stairs this property isn't for you. Other wise we would stay here again.

Beautiful and fun stay

My family of 17 had the best time and stay at this beautiful piece of property. Panhandle getaways was amazing to work with. We used their service that was provided for stocking groceries which was a true blessing! The house was gorgeous and we had a view of the beach with very easy access to it.

The property was beautiful but as a VRBO user on my property, I feel the following comments may make for better future stays 1.The overall cleanliness was not the best **Living room furniture is visibly soiled where legs and arms rest** several cooking pans were disgusting and had to be xtra washed to use*** we had bugs in the sink at checkin 2.Supplies were scarce-we all flew in and there was no help with coffee/filters-one trash bag/one dishwasher soap/aluminum foil and saran wrap would have been nice/salt and pepper.

Average stay at the property

Overall stay at the property was pretty average. House is primarily a 4 bedroom house and the 5th room is just bunker bed with kitchen. Hot tub didn’t function for most part of our trip. Response from property management was decent to the questions Living room couch and carpet is untidy and not well kept. Pool had lot of bugs and dirt. Overall , I feel the property needs more care and cleanliness for a comfortable stay. Location of the property is great. 2 min walk to beach, grocery store, ice cream store and good breakfast place.

Family Weekend

The house was absolutely amazing for my family and I. Beautiful with beautiful views of the ocean. We were able to walk across the street to the beach and come back for lunch very easily. Right next door to the donut shop and grocery store. Amazing stay.

Excellent property to stay in

We absolutely loved this property. Across the street from the beach. We were able to get up walk and then stop at the wonderful donut shop next door. Sooo good. We were a group of 70+ seniors who have been traveling together for a few years now. My only complaint was there was no hand rails to enter or exit the hot tub. It made it a little difficult for us . You had to make sure someone was out there to help you get in and out. The bedding was the absolute best. We slept so well. We definitely will be coming back.

Great stay!!

With a little grocery shopping, we had everything we needed for a weeks stay to enjoy Thanksgiving. The pizza and ice cream shop next door was delicious and convenient. As well as the nice grocery store down the street a half mile. The only knock at all was the hot tub kept shutting off, but they were responsive each time it failed. I would definitely stay there again!

Great beach house!

The house was the perfect size for our group of 10 ladies for a girls trip! Spacious, clean, nicely decorated. Had all you could need in the kitchen. Loved having two fridges plus an extra drink fridge.

Vacation house experience

This three-story house was ideal for what we needed for our family vacation. We had a bit of a confusion with the driveway as the people next to us had more than five vehicles on their side, and we only had three and had to convince them that this was our portion available to us. we did get it worked out. I think in the listing that it is confusing to some people. We were very appreciative of the elevator as it turned out I needed it due to a herniated disc which left me unable to do steps, and still able to enjoy getting around in the home. we put in a work order for the hot tub which we could never get to heat up or work properly. We never saw anyone come or let us know that it was running properly by the time we left. The overhead fan in the master bedroom on the second floor would not work. We did not bother to call maintenance as we got by without it. Otherwise, everything else in the house was great. The location is fantastic. And would recommend this to others.

Amazing location

A group of 8 of us (4 couples) stayed here. We each had our own bedroom with our own full bathroom. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the heated pool (make sure you request the heat turned on before you go, it does cost extra). Easy walk to the beach and right next door to an awesome donut/ice cream shop. They had some beach and pool accessories for us including a wagon to take to the beach. The grocery store is also an easy walk just .3 miles away. The views from the balcony were incredible. During our stay we sustained a bad storm that knocked the power out for a few hours due to a utility pole that caught on fire. This didn’t affect our stay at all. Plenty of room for us to enjoy some indoor games and still have amazing views. They were very responsive to any questions we had no matter what time is was. We will definitely go back.

Decent beach house, but not completely as expected

We came to PCB for the first time this vacation, with two other families. Upon arrival, we had to call the company because it wasn't clear how to get into the home. It would be nice for the instructions to mention a side door, or just give the garage code instead. The basement garage/game room was not clean. There was sand everywhere, and maybe this is just to be expected since we are on the beach, so we let that go. However, the wall with the dart board had literal broken pieces of peel and stick boards stuck to the wall, which fell off constantly during our stay. It looked really tacky. We also didn't know that the "5th bedroom" was not a bedroom at all. It is bunkbeds in the basement hangout area. We would not have booked it if we knew that. Yes, you can see photos of the bunk beds, but it said there were 5 bedrooms, so we assumed that was just extra. Be prepared to go immediately to the store for dish soap, trash bags, hand soap (how do all bathrooms not have soap??), laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Lastly, the pool area is just so-so. The pool was gross with TONS of bugs. There's also only a tiny net to get them out, so you're out of luck if the bugs are in the middle of the pool. The hot tub also was never turned on until day 3 of our 5 days stay even though we asked ahead. We did enjoy the decorations and the beach theme. It was really cute and cozy. We won't book this location again, but it gave us a lot to consider and look for for next time.

Misleading but Still Enjoyed Ourselves

First of all this is a 4 bedroom with a bonus room, not a 5 bedroom with a bonus room. So we were shorted a bedroom we were not prepared for and that was very off putting. The Hot tub was freezing as was the pool. It was not disclosed it was extra charges to turn the pool on. We had no problem paying the charges but wish we knew so it was turned on for us right away, took two days to fix and we were only there for 4. We also complained the bonus room bathroom for the pool the indoor lock was broke and when you closed the door it could only be open from the outside so people couldn’t go to the bathroom without someone there to let them out. They said they’d send someone and never did. Outside of that, the place was beautiful and convenient.

Great Family Getaway

This was a wonderful place to stay, overall. There were just a few things that were not ideal. First - there was dog hair(?), a half drank bottle of water and a candy wrapper under the couch. So not the cleanest first impression. Second - the pool heater was only partially worth it. The pool was a perfectly comfortable temperature but the hot tub never got hot enough to really enjoy. When I messaged the host number I was told that the pool was set to 90 and the hot tub at 103. I told them that the hot tub was definitely not 103 but that the pool was probably 90. The pool was warmer than the hot tub at times which is why it was definitely not 103. They sent me screenshots of the temp settings which did not really solve the hot tub heating issue. Third and final small issue was that they did not have some of the simple things provided like salt or pepper and the hand soap was empty so we had to buy some to replenish it. Plan on the place not having anything if you are questioning it. Also, the toilet paper is worse than public restrooms so we had to buy our own of this as well. Just wish it were a little bit better with these small things when you are paying this much. Overall, We still really enjoyed this home. It was a great location for a relaxing vacation away from the daily grind. There is a wonderful Diner style restaurant, donut shop and delicious ice cream establishment just feet away from the home! This was a big hit with the little ones (and adults, too if we are being honest)! Great big open floor on the top that makes being together fun and easy and the floors being on a separate floor was nice for the little ones to go to bed with some quiet space! Beautiful views and a beautiful home. It is also worth noting that they do have a decent amount of sand toys, pool inflatables and even a nice beach wagon to haul items back and forth! This was a great surprise! Would definitely stay at this place again!

Beautiful, clean very close to beach.

Have to say the house was just perfect for our family. Plenty of room, beautiful views and beach just across the street The pool and hot tub was not warm. It took two days. They did not have record of our payment even though it was paid prior to check in. Property Manager did get it straightened out . The grills burners were not working well either. Otherwise, this property was wonderful.!!

This house was beautiful with lots of room. Having lots of girls space was a must, especially the bathrooms. Location was perfect - entrance to the beach was right across the street as well as a donut-coffee shop basically next door.

Stairway to Heaven

This property is wonderful, the pictures are very accurate. The view of the beach is amazing. I enjoyed sitting out on the deck early in the morning watching the waves. The swimming pool and the hot tub was a plus we really enjoyed it. I will return to this rental property again.
