Cab-Vin 33 is a lovely and spacious lodge with EIGHT bedrooms and SIX full bathrooms. Located in a wooded setting with tremendous scenic views but also just a 5 min walk to restaurants, an indoor pool/gym, and a brewery. The floor plan allows for plenty of room to enjoy gathering with friends and family but still have your own private space. The exterior wrap-around deck further enhances the entertaining options. Outdoor pool, hot tub, hiking trails, and tennis courts are available in season.

Cab-Vin 33 is under new ownership that desires to optimize the vacation experience. Wifi and television upgrades have been implemented. The property is located a mere 5 min walk to Coolfont Resort and Spa and Berkley Spring Brewery. Guests can get a daily pass to use Coolfont Resort's indoor pool and gym. In the summer, boats are available for rent. Cacapon State Park is 15 minutes away which includes the Cacapon golf course. Downtown Berkeley Springs is 10 minutes away and offers hot spring baths and more dining options. You can customize your stay to be as secluded or as vibrant as you desire.

The Lodge is in the woods and the atmosphere on the outside deck is calming. House has a lot of space for people to do different activities. Kitchen was large enough for multiple people to prepare food and great that had two refrigerators.

Peaceful Cabin Retreat

Our stay at the cabin was everything we hoped forā€”quiet, cozy, and surrounded by nature. The interior was warm and inviting. Whether youā€™re looking to disconnect or just enjoy a peaceful weekend, this cabin is a perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. Highly recommend!

Book Group retreat

There were 7of us, and we looked for a place where we could each have our own room. This house fit the bill. Sadly, it poured all three days we were there, so we couldnā€™t take advantage of the lovely deck, or go for walks, but we enjoyed the space and privacy of the house. The kitchen is really well equipped. We did some gourmet cooking together, and really enjoyed that.

Great in so many ways

During the Apple Butter Festival. Perfect location. Dinner at Coolfont lodge very disappointing. At first there was a line musty smell In basement until we empty the dehumidifier Owners are very responsive. Weā€™ve rented again for next year because space is great for a large group

Great Base for Holiday Gathering

Just returned from our annual family gathering for the holidays. The house was perfect for hosting the nine of us, ranging in age from a toddler to an 80-year-old. There was plenty of space for us to gather and for us to have our own private space. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked and, in a very welcome touch, wood for the fireplace was provided for us. Lovely setting in the woods and a short drive from the quaint, interesting town of Berkeley Springs. The manager was easy to reach and very responsive. We would absolutely return.

Girls weekend

The house is nice and well equipped with everything you need. Very large rooms, nicely furnished. My only suggestion would be to add more dehumidifiers. It was very musty in the basement bedrooms. I had to move upstairs due to sinus/ headaches after 1 night. Overall very happy with the house, location, and amenities. Thank you for allowing us to visit your property.

Great Stay

Owner and manager are very responsive and helpful. House was clean, spacious, well stocked, and large enough for groups! The house is in the woods as indicated in the listing. Parking is good. The walk to the Brewery and Coolfont Resort is on a gravel path and fine for active, mobile people. Coolfont also has kayaking. Cacapoon State Park is wonderful as is downtown Berkeley Springs.

Perfect! Loved everything about it!

We spent every morning enjoying sunrise throught the trees while sipping a fesh cup of coffee. Created a ton of memories with family. We cooked a feast and ate into a food coma. The house was set up for everything and everyone. We needed to bring nothing but food. Big beautiful patio and surrounding area perfect for hiking or a nice little scenic drive. Only 10 minutes from Cacapon State Park, 8 minutes to downtown Berkley springs. 10 minutes to the potomac overlook-Gorgeous views!!! Perfectly nestled in the woods but close enough to all the action. Highly recommend!!!

Great family getaway

This really was the perfect place to get a few families together. We had four sets of spouses with kids, and we were very comfortable. The unit had everything that we needed for cooking and in house entertainment. The neighborhood is great and offers some wonderful hiking trails for short trips. Coolfont resort was within walking distance, and they offer day passes to their pool and fitness facility. The Berkeley Springs Brewery is also within walking distance with good beer and great food options. Communication with the manager was super easy, and they were even nice enough to let us gain access a couple hours early! That was a life saver with so many kids. The lack of the ability to have a fire was the only downside to this rental. The local community doesnā€™t allow outdoor fires, so you have to be ok with not having one when you visit. Other than that, we loved everything!

Beautiful home in the woods

A spacious home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our extended family. Nice hiking trails and even a brewery in walking distance. Totally recommend.

Wonderful Family Weekend

Beautiful , spacious home especially for a large family! Directions were very good and the home was very clean. Berkeley Springs is a charming town to visit while staying here. My family enjoyed celebrating our early Christmas here and highly recommend a visit. The property manager was very prompt getting back to me with any questions and concerns!

Nice getaway

The house was great and large enough to accommodate our family and friends. Everyone appreciated having their own bathroom. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked. The location was a few minutes to Berkeley Springs. We look forward to coming back again. Only thing we missed was a campfire. Otherwise, a wonderful stay overall. Thanks!!

Retreat

From the time I booked this cabin to the time we checked out we had a wonderful experience. Our group of "seniors" were on a spiritual retreat. Located in the middle of a beautifully natural environment provides a welcome get-away from the frantic world we live in. We have already decided that we will be returning for another visit in the near future.

I would definatly stay here again

The house was great, comfortable with lots of room. The kitchen had everything you could possible think of and there were plenty of places for our entire crew to sit. The beds were all comfortable with nice bedding and plenty of closets and nightstands in each bedroom. The bathrooms were very clean. There was a wonderful deck out back looking over a wooded hillside, plenty of chairs for everyone to sit outside. It would be a nice bonus if there were also chairs on the bottom porch too. We knew in advance that we weren't going to be allowed an outdoor fire, but that was really missed. And we didn't know before hand that we also could not use the indoor fireplace. That was really disappointing because the fireplace features prominently in your photos. The drive through the neighborhood to the house is absolutely beautiful! And the pool area was lovely as well. There were plenty of chairs and picnic tables, sun and shade. nice hot tub too. We could have spent our whole vacation at the pool, but unfortunately it had very limited hours, I think it was noon till 5:00. The only real problem we had was with the trash. When we arrived, the dumpster outside was completely full so we had to keep all of our trash inside the house for 4 days till garbage day. Then the garbage truck didn't even take all the garbage, so after we filled it up again with all the bags from inside the house, it was already full again. My husband called to let the owner know we might have to leave trash in the laundry room when we left, because we were worried we would get a fine or something like that because they seem to have pretty strict garbage rules there. But he ended up being able to squeeze it all in the dumpster. So it worked out ok after all. The drive into town is very pleasant and you pass the Castle on the way and can see it from the road. The downtown area is as cute as can be with lots of little shops and the State Park area right there. There is a public pool there too. Food Lion grocery store is close by. Another bonus, it's about 1 1/2 hour drive to Gettysburg and about 2 hour drive to Washingtod DC. I would go stay there again in a heartbeat! We loved the house! Go and see for yourself!

Family Friendly accommodation.

House was spotless. Many extra conveniences: New washer dryer, great internet access and TV. Kitchen well equipped, extra towels, blankets etc if needed. AC was excellent. We had 90+temps with high humidity. Property conveniently located for Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park. The community pool and tennis courts were not well maintained. Pool better than tennis. There is no yard with the property. Bottom line for our family was good for inside activity, not so good for outside.

Great Experience

This property matched the pictures (actually better in person). we loved the downstairs area to use as a teen hangout space. We also loved the number of bedrooms and the fact that nobody had to wait in line for a bathroom. Great location, close to activities. Highly recommend to large groups/families.

The owners are two brothers with six kids between them. Two sets of twin boys! Brothers started visiting Berkeley Springs when their Mother purchased a cabin a decade ago.
