Stellar House!

Newly Renovated! Newly Furnished-3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with a large yard and a single-car garage. There is a covered deck in the back of the house with a BBQ grill. You must let us know if you will be cleaning your own fish that you catch and we can set up a fish-cleaning area outside. We have a large freezer in the garage for you to keep your cleaned fish in! NO CLEANING FISH INSIDE THE HOUSE OR IN THE GARAGE! You will need to dispose the fish waste at our local waste sight only minutes away from the house.
You will be very close to the mouth of the Kenai river and a city park...its all within walking distance! We have airbeds with air pumps and bedding for extra sleeping for our guests.

*The property has one security camera (only active on check-in and check-out days) outside pointed at the front entryway. The camera is for the security and safety for our guests and our property. There are no cameras inside the home.

I was so impressed! The host went above and beyond from start to finish! Communication was excellent, check in was easy and and there was even a generous little suprise waiting for us! Check out was easy too!! Some hosts make check out a nightmare but not this one! I cant stess how great the host was when it came to communicating. We had a large party and needed to make some changes/requests and she was prompt and helpful. This is definitely one to book over and over!

Clean, comfortable, perfect for a family stay

We had a hockey tournament and stayed here with our two children. The hosts left home made treats- it was a wonderful welcome. The house was close to everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the house was immaculately clean. We would definitely stay here again & highly recommend!

Beautiful modern home!

Great stay at the Stellar Home! Very clean & new. Mary was amazing & very helpful, she made our stay very pleasant! I recommend this home to anyone visiting the Kenai area.

The Stellar House is Quite Stellar

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Stellar house. We came down for a weekend of dipnetting and were welcomed to a wonderfully clean house in a great location (close to all the action on the Kenai). The host was very communicative and the house had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. Look forward to staying at the Stellar house again!

Great property close to the shore

This property was great for us. We attended a family wedding in Kenai and I found myself needing a bigger space for family to bunk with me. This house offered tons of sleeping space. It had a great back deck with a grill. Easy check in process and great communication from the owner. Would definitely recommend this place again. Thank you!

Beautiful gem in perfect location

This little house was perfect for our group which included us, our teens and my parents. The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. We all took multiple walks along the beach which was just a block or two away. Great communication with the host. We plan to go back sometime soon.

What a gem!

Super cute, cozy, and clean! A great place for families to live, laugh, love while away from their own homes! :) The hosts thought of absolutely everything from snacks to a wide variety of supplies to a fish cleaning station! Highest recommendation!

Family dipnetting trip 2024

Stellar house was perfect for our dipnetting trip. We had plenty of room to park vehicles even with trailer with ATV’s. The beach was so close we could walk. It was fun to walk down and watch sunset! There was a great park close by for the kids. Plenty of space and Mary was so accommodating. We added another guest last minute and she set up inflatable mattress. It was perfect.

Clean, Comfy & Well Stocked

This owner is amazing! The house is tastefully decorated and clean as a whistle! Not a speck of dust anywhere! The owner thought of everything when she stocked this house. I felt like I was at home! Communication has been fantastic. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I will return!

This is a beautifully maintained home! It's close to the ocean, safe, and very comfortable! Mary is an excellent owner and is very responsive to your needs. She is available if any issues come up, which didn't, except the grill running out of propane! She immediately brought over a new bottle. She also called to check if we needed anything. I give this comfortable home a solid 5 stars! Looking forward to returning next year!

An A+ stay

I was apprehensive due to the location in Kenai as booked fishing charters out of Soldotna. Loved the location and access to Soldotna. Loved the well cared for 3 bedroom house. Really loved the neat, warm garage. More like an extra room. Easy to hang and dry our gear. Chairs, etc. left by previous renters available. We left an nice salmon net. Enjoy! She set up an outside area to process fish but we used a local processor and liked the results. Finally, the host was attentive and easy to communicate with. An A+ stay.

Great Host & House

The stay was great. Wish we’d booked there longer. Beds were the best we had the whole trip (stayed in 3 diff properties while in Alaska). Lots of extras we didn’t get elsewhere, like a big freezer, lawn chairs, multiple coffee and tea choices, ice chest, grill, etc. we had pretty much everything we needed plus some. The host even left us a cinnamon coffee cake and peanut butter cookies for our arrival that were very good! And one of the little neighbor boys gave us some banana nut bread. It’s probably not in the fanciest part of town, but the neighbors were nice and the property was outstanding! With arthritis and bad backs in our group, the beds alone would’ve made this place our favorite, but the hospitality & communication took it to the next level. If I could rate them higher I would.

Mary is a super host!!

Mary went the extra mile when we requested another person, she did not hesitate., (Without extra charge!!) Also I made a booking mistake in not adding an extra date as I thought I did and again she offered us a stay in her beautiful lakeside b & b without any extra charge. The kids loved swimming and paddling around the lake. Our last day was fun and relaxing!! The 4 dudes, (as I called them,) loved their own man cave in the warm and cozy garage in the Kenai house.

Breath of Fresh Air

Mary's home was very well-appointed, with nice firm, comfy beds, extremely clean and nice, fresh décor. The house was spotless and came with lots of nice amenities, including a Keurig for hot coffee or cocoa and a little goodie basket with assorted snacks. The washing machine and dryer were new and worked perfectly and she had a smart TV so we could watch anything we wanted to relax in the evenings. The location was perfect, extremely close to the Kenai River and oceanfront and there is a very nice playground less than 1/8th mile away. Mary was a pleasure and answered all of the questions we had in a very timely manner- best host we have ever had. We will be staying at this property again. Thanks for a wonderful family getaway!

Best Family Accommodations Ever!

My family and I had a wonderful trip to Kenai and it was largely because of the wonderful accommodations Mary provided. The home was spotless and so comfortable. It easily met the needs of five adults and four kids. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the meals we planned. We had all the towels and toiletries we needed; and having a washer and dryer was a blessing. There were indoor and outdoor games for the kids to play during the evenings after a busy day of touring the area or traveling to Seward. Mary texted or called well before the trip to make sure we were all set and checked in with me several times during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. The location was perfect- we were able to shop for food and supplies, get our fish processed, or walk to the beach or playground. My family and I travel extensively and have stayed in many homes and cabins. This home was by far the best!
