It is the historical location of Orr's Store (please look inside the cottage to read more about the history). This is an efficiency apartment that includes one separate bedroom, one bathroom, plus a kitchen/dining/living area. We are located 3 miles from DuPont State Forest which provides waterfalls, hiking trails, and biking trails. Pisgah National Forest is located approximately 9 miles away. Enjoy the local breweries and shops in downtown Brevard and Hendersonville, NC. Eclectic Asheville and Asheville Regional Airport are only 30 minutes away.

Also, in the pictures, you will see the property cat "Blythe." He loves people and will most certainly welcome you. He will tell you he wants to come inside and hang out with you, but he is not allowed inside (only on the porch). He likes to smooth talk people into sharing their breakfast with him. Silly Blythe!
