Step into the lovely condo 1321 Shipwatch, and feel the worries of the world melting away. This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom property is beautifully appointed, recently updated, and tucked into the oceanfront Shipwatch complex in the award-winning, gated Amelia Island Plantation. Come enjoy a romantic getaway, a golf weekend, or just a quiet retreat on the beach!

If you're planning to dine in, guests can easily whip up snacks or cook their meals in the freshly-renovated and fully-equipped kitchen featuring brand-new quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Seating options include three stools at the kitchen island or a circular dining table for four.

The living area offers stylish, comfortable furnishings for delving into your latest novel or watching your favorite TV programming. High-speed Wi-Fi is included for the modern traveller. When it's time to rest, the bedroom has all the comforts of home ā€” a king bed, a flat-screen TV, a large dresser for unpacking your belongings, a spacious closet, and a fully remodeled bathroom. When needed, there's also a sleeper sofa in the living room.

The renovations completed in late 2024 include new flooring, fresh paint, expanding the closet space, installing a new hot water heater, a new AC unit, new TVs, and new major appliances.

While this Shipwatch condo does not offer ocean views or any private outdoor living space like a balcony, it offers one of the easiest locations within the complex for accessing the Shipwatch amenities.

Amenities include the spacious Shipwatch complex pool that is just a short walk away. This beautiful pool is heated during parts of the year and offers a large deck for finding shade. There is a community grilling area, picnic tables, and a bike rack available for guests as well.

Guests can also enjoy the walking and biking trails that weave throughout the Amelia Island Plantation (AIP.) This sprawling community is 1,340 acres and is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Rent bikes or a golf cart through a local vendor to explore even further.

1321 Shipwatch is conveniently located for partaking in the dining, shopping, and spa services offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP. Golf is also available at Little Sandy and Oak Marsh right within the AIP.

For guests convenience, there's a washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, and beach towels. All bed and bath linens are provided.

As part of this rental, a custom digital guestbook is provided with thorough property information and a local area guide sharing our favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals.

*Please be advised this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities.ā€ This means there is restricted access to the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center, and shuttle service, and that Racquet Park only offers free play to club members and their guests. We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities.

My wife and I were looking for the perfect Spring Break get-away and found it at the Amelia Island Omni Resort. So many convenient amenities at a place where you can walk out the door onto a beautiful uncrowded beach. Weā€™re definitely going back!

The Car show visit stay at The Plantations Shipyard Amelia Island

Thios property is updated and looks like a decorator was hired to choose the pictures on the wall ( nicely framed and not Hobby Lobby) a Lot of nice touches, and the furniture was transitional and up to date colors. It had a view of teh parking lot which is OK for the price and the beach is a short walk away. The pool is a heated pool for the early spring, beach is clean and fantastic. Good for (2) people for a vacation or a getaway.

Perfect getaway

The condo is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. Steps to a beautiful beach - with barely anyone around on it! The Omni shuttle was available to bring us back and forth to bars and restaurants. We will 100% be back.

Comfortable condo

I stayed 6 nights at this lovely one bedroom condo. Everything was just as advertised. Comfortable furniture, a well equipped kitchen and great location. Destination Amelia was wonderful. I had a minor mishap when checking in that they easily rectified and even followed up the next day to make sure I everything I needed. I'd stay here again!

Honeymoon Trip

The condo appeared as advertised, and everything was clean and comfortable. It was just the right size for our honeymoon! The batteries were dead in the TV remote, but the manager sent someone out right away with replacements! Great customer service! The property was lovely and well kept-we were able to enjoy the pool in early October as well.

Little gem

Shipwatch is a great condo property. Clean, nice view, easy beach access. The condo is good for a couple or single. It has no balcony, but steps to the properties pool and nice outside space. Bathroom is small but ok. A bar at the end on wall would be helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped and great.
