Pet-Friendly 1900 Cottage in Biltmore Village | King Bed | 2 Min. to Biltmore Estate!

Biltmore Villa, originally named The Chapman House, was built in 1900 and is one of 14 historic cottages constructed for the Biltmore Estate workers employed by Vanderbilt in the early 20th century. Designed by Robert Sharp Smith, his notable "Biltmore-style" buildings are a blend of English Arts and Crafts and Elizabethan Tudor, giving them the look of a charming countryside cottage in an English village.

This unique vacation rental is in the heart of Biltmore Village, within walking distance of its shops and restaurants. Take a 1-minute walk to Corner Kitchen, or pop across the street to LKN Cheesecakery (coming soon) in the former site of Well-Bred Bakery. A 2-minute walk leads to Fig (temporarily closed), and a 5-minute walk to the local favorite, Hillman Beer. Also nearby are Burial Beer Company's Forestry Camp, Gemelli by Strada Italiano, Andaaz (temporarily closed), and Ruth's Chris Steak House.

The Biltmore House & Gardens, a National Historic Landmark, is a 2-minute drive away, making the aptly named Biltmore Villa the perfect getaway spot for a couple or a solo traveler planning to explore the "Gilded Age" gem and everything else the city of Asheville has to offer!

Please note: This rental is pet-friendly with an additional fee, but only dogs under 50 lbs. are permitted. This apartment-style unit is located on the upper level of a historic home, with the lower level currently undergoing an exciting transformation into a future retail space!

We enjoyed our stay here. A lot of times the furniture is uncomfortable but at the Villa, the bed was great, the living room was comfortable and the patio was great. The location was really convenient for us too. Everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival so we have zero complaints and would stay here again for sure.

I loved the location and the size/design of the space. It had everything we needed for a romantic weekend in Asheville. We spent time on the balcony for morning coffee and late afternoon cocktails. I was able to bring my small Yorkie with me which was a prime concern of ours. There was nearby grassy areas for him to roam. The location was perfect for walking all the nearby shops and restaurants and even when we went outside of the Biltmore Village for dinner we could easily walk to the Bohemian for an after dinner drink. The next door grocery was convenient for morning coffee and snacks.I would definitely recommend this property for an Asheville stay that is an easy walk or drive to all areas around the Biltmore/Asheville area.

Great location in Historic Biltmore Village. Used as base for Biltmore, NC Arboretum, Chimney Rock, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Several good restaurants in walking distance. Walked to dinner 4 of 5 nights.

Chapman House

The location for this property was excellent - very walkable to restaurants and very easy access to the Biltmore entrance. The apartment was roomy and we loved the terrace to hang out.

Asheville Vacay 2024

Quaint cottage above an establishment. The outdoor space was spectacular! The location was very accessible to shopping and dining. There was a restaurant across the street that was phenomenal and anyway you should check out their shrimp and grits! There were some drawbacks that were minimal. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time eating and relaxing!

The service was great. The location was great. The property is quaint and in keeping with the area but it needs a refresh. TV is too small. Water pressure is weak and slow to warm up. Ice trays. If quaint is what you want, this is the place to stay
