OMG, I can ot put in to words how amazing this place was. The ride from Kona airport was great. Caught a few rainbows along the way and the scenery was perfect. It was just about 30 minutes away but my goodness was it a relaxing ride. When we arrived on the grounds, we were met with plants, flowers, palm trees, smiles and an amazing view of the ocean. But the condo, oh my. The minute we walked in, we felt like we were walking in our own home. The 2nd bedroom and bath were clean, cozy, and refreshing and the master bedroom, with the sliding door to the patio was freakin' gorgeous. Having the waves crash on the rocks directly under the patio was beyond amazing. The entire time we were there, my wife and I slept with the glass sliders completely open and had the cool ocean breeze and sounds wisk us away to sleep. I cannot express how lucky we were to have this place to ourselves. If you are visiting the Island, definitely put this place at the very top of your list. !

Great location

This condo is in a great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Was clean and had great amenities kitchen and beach amenities. It should be noted the master is separated by the living space with shoji screens, is not ideal for two couples. The lanai has great views of the ocean for dolphin and whale watching. Lovely accommodations for a couple or small family.

Betsy was a wonderful host. She answered texts quickly, gave great recommendations for yummy poke nachos, and available for any questions we had. The view! Wow... Our host, Betsy, was easy to communicate with, great suggestions for my first time on the Big Island, and provided lovely welcoming surprises. The accommodations had everything from coffee and plastic wrap to lots of beach towels and hangers. Perhaps a chest of drawers would be nice in the second bedroom, but otherwise, plenty of space for 2 to 3 people. No AC but the many fans (ceiling and floor) helped with the hotter temps. And, of course, leaving the deck doors open for ocean breeze.

March 2023

Overall the property is as advertised. My only comment is that even though we never kept food outside the refrigerator, there were still cockroaches of all sizes in the kitchen silverware drawer, on the counter & in the master bathroom. I know this is a tropical location, but it's possible the property needs to have someone come in & spray more often.

Hi Pat, This was very disappointing to see. I contacted my housekeeper as well as the current tenant and each said there were no signs of bugs. We have a contract, and all units are treated quarterly. In my welcome packet as well as the welcome email, I ask any guest to reach out should there be a need. Unfortunately, you never reached out and if you had, it would have been remedied that very day. I have had over 5-star ratings for years and take pride in our guests experience and our property. Should you travel in the future and have any issues, please give the owner or manager an opportunity to help you. Thank you.

Lovely property

My adult daughter and I were in Kona for a wedding and this property was perfect. Well decorated and clean. The unit was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) and the balcony faced the water. Every night we welcomed a beautiful sunset. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils and basic pantry items. There was even a small cooler that we used to pack lunches. Also had beach chairs and beach towels which was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and loved the shower heads! There is no AC but many ceiling fans and standing fans kept the place relatively cool - even in August! Betsy was easy to work with and sent us information ahead of time so check-in was easy. Highly recommend!
