Comanche Condo - Tee Off at The Lake! - 3 bed/2 bath - POINT VENTURE

Our beautiful townhome is located in the unique village of Point Venture. Point Venture is on Lake Travis, 20 miles northwest of Austin in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Lake Travis is 44,000 acres of cool, clean, fun - full of many areas to swim, relax, or engage in boating/jet-skiing/fishing/etc.


- The sandy beach IS BACK as lake levels have gone down! Lake Travis' best kept secret is right here in Point Venture. Our private, gated, 50 acre park has the only sandy beach on Lake Travis. YOU will have ACCESS and a key card to access the property. The property has a playground for kids, a disc golf course, pavilion, 2 boat ramps and more.

- Weber Gas Grill on Deck - Yes for your grilling needs!

- Gorgeous Lake View. Our property is technically Lakefront, but there is a short walk or a fast golf cart ride to the water/cove. A great swimming hole for family/kids. Step foot out the front door and then take a left down the concrete parking area and driveway.

- Management - we believe we have the best property management team on the planet! They go out of their way to delight our guests.

More about the property:

You can enjoy picturesque views of the lake while lounging on our largest deck or walk down a gentle slope to jump in for a swim. You can also have a great time watching the wildlife, especially the deer that roam around and eat corn nearly out of your hand! The upper deck is very spacious and contains patio table & chairs.

Our town-home is a two-story waterfront home with casual, but very comfortable furnishings in a cove just down the street from the Caddie Shack Sports Bar & The Food Dood Food Truck. Be sure to check out the Point Venture Marina and feed the fish off of the side of the dock! The amount and size of the fish on the top of the water will astonish you!

We have three bedrooms, two full baths, and two outdoor decks. The place will accommodate up to 8 people. The master suite has 2 queen-sized beds, and a private bath and deck. The other downstairs bedroom has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and twin on the top. The 3rd bedroom (on the main level) has a queen-size bed with an unattached bathroom.

You will have special KEYCARD only access to the gated 50-acre waterfront park which has two boat ramps, children's playground, picnic tables, and pavilion. You rarely have to wait to launch your boat. And when lake levels are low enough, the waterfront park becomes the most popular weekend hangout thanks to the expansive sandy beach that appears. Fun for the whole family! This is the only sandy beach on lake Travis and a diamond.

There are many activities to choose from in the gated community of Point Venture. We have exclusive golf discounts for our guests at the Point Venture Golf Club, a 9-hole public golf course with a driving range, putting green, and pro shop. We also have a Jr. Olympic size pool (closed on Mondays), tennis courts and basketball courts that are right around the corner.

The Point Venture Marina, located a short drive down the road, provides a fuel dock, store, and restaurant on the Lake.

Holiday Rates may vary. Hotel Tax, Security Deposit, Cleaning Fee, and Pet Fee will be added if applicable.

Scenery was amazing! Enjoyed our walk from town home to the lake! Golf cart was a Plus. PET Friendly was the 1st thing we looked for and this property was perfect. Definitely coming back! Elizabeth and JT were very courteous and helpful!

Older but convenient....

Not really what we expected...kitchen is super small. There was an old musky smell. The floors weren't clean. It has everything you need, it's the pictures that make it look newer and bigger than what it is. And the queen bed/mattress downstairs when you first walk in room, one to the left, makes a lot of noise.

Great Family Lake House

This is a beautiful two-story townhouse in a private neighborhood. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return. Took advantage of the community pool, beach, and playground. And sooo many deer - fun for our little one! Thanks again!

Family Fun

Super cute place. Lake levels were super low so you couldn’t walk to lake access therefore the golf cart rental is a must but a super fun must! The grandkids (ages 2 and 3) loved to ride the “tractor”. There were precious baby deer everywhere. The pool is great and we loved the marina restaurant. The food was great and the HUGE catfish off the dock were the best entertainment.

Excellent host, beautiful property, and great location to get away and relax!

Lovely little home in a nice quiet location with several nearby access points to the lake including a short walk directly from the downstairs balcony. The neighbors are friendly when you actually see one. The deer are everywhere! Often right out behind the condo and even right on the sides of most of the streets. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen usually has most of the necessary spices and condiments. We even left some to add along with a dog bed for future pet lovers. This was our second time staying at this place and we love it! The host is incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful. Any questions we had were explained within minutes of asking... they even called for some more complicated explanations and patiently provided a resolution for any inquiries we sent them. The best host ever! They let us know about all of the lake access points in the neighborhood, nearby restaurants, and activities available. You will love your stay in this lakeside rental. We also booked this spot last year so it was nice to come back and make more memories. The short hike from the downstairs balcony to the lake is nice, but will require a little leg work on the way back. The access card lets you enter a park that has an area you can drive onto a sandy beach. I would go early so I could let my dogs run around loose with their life jackets on so they could get in the lake too. Later in the day there are more people so we brought leashes and a rope to give them more space. Rent this place now! Just not when I want to get it again, lol.

Great Stay

The condo was great - well supplied with board games, plenty of kitchen items, towels, etc. The neighborhood and everyone we met were all lovely! And the DEER! At one point we counted 16 while we were standing on the balcony! The view of the water in the mornings was fantastic- Great coffee spot! And the property manager was quick and efficient with his responses - not always the case with rentals. Overall a wonderful experience!

We had a great stay, the place was very clean and beautiful. There was only one issue with the stairs going down. They have an extra layer at the end of the stair and several of my friends’s shoes got caught on it as they were going down. One of them actually fell down the stairs because of it. Other than that, everything was great!

Lake house for Christmas

Awesome location and view from rear balcony, greeted every morning by the deer that roam the property. The private park is easy to access to disc golf, gym pool etc... The host was great! Very attentive and informative! Home was clean, fresh and comfortable!!! Most definitely will reserve this again!

Cozy condo with lake access

We had a great time at JTs rental. Got clear directions getting to the house and access instructions were clear. There is a welcome booklet with keycard on the counter (which we missed initially). The patio has a good view of the lake. Property also has some trails that leads to the lake which was great with us having pets. We had a small user issue with the restroom which JT handled promptly. JT also had a the golf cart rental which my family took advantage of and we highly recommend. Family loved driving though the neighborhood with the golf cart and also visiting the park at the end (close to baby girl island). We have a very enjoyable time during our stay at Comanche point.

Loved the location

This property was exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted to go somewhere with pretty views, near some nature. I live in DFW, a concrete jungle.. this rental had beautiful sunrise views, perfect for my birthday weekend. And it was perfect for our family of 5+ my sister. My 6 year old was thrilled there was a bunk bed 🤣 The split level bedrooms was great bc it gave my sister her own privacy upstairs and kept our kiddos from waking her when they got up early. The kitchen had everything we needed for us to cook. We stopped in cedar park on our way in for groceries. There were deer everywhere, which we loved seeing. We hiked around the property, took our boys fishing and went down to the marina area. There was a cute food truck "park" that we enjoyed in Lago Vista,just down the road. Definitely plan on making this visit happen again.

Great family vacation rental townhome

The townhome was a nice, quiet family place for a weekend vacation. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a beautiful view of Lake Travis and saw many deer behind it. It was a bit warm in house (85F) upon arrival, but had a very good AC and fans that got it comfortable in a few hours (in fact it was very cold in 1st level BR)! We went to the community pool and it was a huge olympic size and a bit chilly but was nice to spend a few hours there. We enjoyed having the WIFI w/ROKU and family games at night. Would recommend this place!

Lake Fun

Fantastic property in Pointe Venture. Condo was exactly as described and very comfortable for our party of 5. Wifi was good and plenty of dishes and games to play. Would definitely return! Also, ask to rent the golf cart! PV park is aweso.e and the golf cart makes the trips back and forth easy and fun!

We are a group of two young families that love Point Venture! Our children love it too! We have been coming out here for the last 20 years and staying with friends and family, so we decided to get our own place. Since we can't use it full time, we decided to let others experience the enjoyment that this fun little lake village has to offer!
