Phenomenal view and setting. Lovely, comfortable home. We spent a lot of time on the deck, which is quite private due to the landscaping on both sides of the yard. The rocks down to the beach are tricky to navigate, but if you walk 4-5 houses either way there are stairways for easy beach access. Well-stocked kitchen. Bring your streaming app log-in info for TV. Friendly, easy check-in and out.

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love this house. The downstairs kid area is fantastic, the hot tub right on the deck overlooking the beach is fantastic as well. We love it here

Great Family Retreat

The location, the view, and all the amenities were great for my family. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is for the following, which didn’t seem urgent enough to contact the host: slow drainage in bathrooms, not one sharp knife, a half-filled hot tub, and a check-in process that requires you to go to their office in Lincoln City. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious, each with their own bathrooms, beds comfy, and good insulation upstairs. Beach access was perfect and all the games provided made the rainy days fun!

50th Anniversary family trip

Beautiful view of Proposal Rock and easy access to the beach steps away. The house is perfect for off season stay when the weather might be bad because of all the activities available downstairs and the great view from the living room and master bedroom. You feel like you’re on the beach when you’re actually warm and dry inside!

Fantastic Home

This property is wonderful. It is in a quiet gated neighborhood and sits right on the beach, with a beautiful view of Proposal Rock and when the tide is low, the Ghost Forest. The house is super well-appointed and laid out in such a great way; our kids/grandkids took over the downstairs which is a giant game room with couches and beds (and a sauna!), and the adults each had their own bedroom with their own private bath upstairs and hung out mostly in the living room which has a fabulous view. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, and discovering that downstairs they had a second refrigerator was so helpful for a large family! The deck with a hot tub is icing on the cake. We absolutely loved our stay

Wonderful

The property comfortably accommodated all 10 of us, kids and adults. The views are spectacular and the beach has plenty of exploration to do, plus nearby hiking etc. Hot tub was ready to go and even on rainy days(which we didn't have) there is plenty of entertainment in the house. Pool table, Sauna, ping pong, TV's up and downstairs with good quality surround sound set ups. This is a property I would easily recommend and rent again for our family get together.

House was very comfortable and well stocked. Kitchen utensils were awesome! Not often do I have decent pots and pans for cooking, and matching glassware. View cannot be matched, Outstanding.

Absolutely amazing place with great views. Easy access to the beach. Hot tub while you look out at the sunsets. Great views all around and the pool table, ping pong, and playroom downstairs was a treat. Highly recommend.

Moms / daughter trip

The view was amazing. Bette than that photo shows. We had a group of 5 moms and 5 daughters for our 2 night stay. The place was set up perfect for this type of trip. Large basement downstairs allowed for the girls to have their own space while the moms could enjoy upstairs. Large spacious kitchen made meal planning easy. Because the temperature was in the high 80’s we would have loved a couple of fans to set up. Everyone is ready to come back next year!

Great view, even on a rainy day

We enjoyed the big windows looking out at Proposal Rock, and the big kitchen. The downstairs game room was perfect for watching football and the wood burning fireplace was a bonus. This is a great family house. Lots of stairs, so people with mobility issues might struggle a bit,‘but once you are inside, It’s wonderful for everyone.

Frustration over broken key items

We loved the location of this property. The size of the house was not disappointing; however, we were notified the day before coming that the heater was not working and they were having trouble getting it repaired. The property manager did offer a refund, but mentioned that the heater had not been working for the last couple of tenants. The property manager added that there were space heaters in each room and a fireplace with lots of wood in the garage. My family had so been looking forward to this trip, and to be notified the day before of this major problem, seemed a little late to change plans and find another place, so we said we would give it a try. The space heaters worked fine for the upstairs, but the one for the downstairs where all the recreational items were was not sufficient. Luckily, it was a fairly nice couple of winter days at the beach, so we spent time outdoors. The fireplace was not in the best shape; but, we did try to build a fire in the evening. The wood in the garage was damp and did not work well (very smoky), so we went to the local store in Pacific city to purchase some dry wood. The second day we were there, the toilet in one of the bathrooms started leaking all over the floor. It appeared that the seal had broken. I turned off the water supply to the toilet, cleaned up the water, and reported it to the property manager. I was told that they could not get anyone out to fix it for a couple of days (and by then we would be leaving).. Thank goodness there were several bathrooms. My overall impression of this place is that it needs some attention to the maintenance. The bar-b-que grill was so rusted that it wasn't safe to use. The shower doors were hung poorly and kept falling off of the track., and as I mentioned before, the heater did not work, nor did one of the toilets. The family had a great time and the views were spectacular. I would recommend this rental with the hopes that they step up with the maintenance.

Great view, some technical difficulties

This house was fantastic. The view is amazing and it feels incredibly private. We didn’t access the beach from the rocks, since we had our pup with us, but the true beach access was just a few houses down. We are quite tech savvy but still had difficulty with the TV and could not get any of the vcrs or DVD players to work, but that wasn’t a big deal since we were there for the ocean anyway. The beds were fairly comfortable, and bathrooms were clean. We did leave a rinsed out, but not washed cup out by the sink that attracted a bunch of ants overnight, but they disappeared quickly after washing the whole area. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!
