21 Maryland Avenue #B, Maryland Gardens - Professionally Managed by Coldwell Banker Premier.
A perfect vacation rental located ocean block on Maryland Ave in Rehoboth Beach. Maryland Avenue is the second street North of Rehoboth Avenue. This location is a short walk to unique dining, great shops and only 1/2 block to the boardwalk and beach. This is a first floor, one level apartment. The layout includes a living, kitchen area and a screened in porch.

There is parking off street for 1 car, and the owner provides one additional pass for the street.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $157.50.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Had difficulty unlocking the door knob lock. Key inserted fine, had to jiggle key and knob to unlock. Dead bolt easily opened.

Overview

We spent a lot of time on the screened porch. We loved it but it would have been so much better with a ceiling fan. There were no oven gloves in the kitchen that I could fin. Queen mattress slanted into the middle on the left side. Thanks for a wonderful week!

3.75 stars. Lots of positives:- Location and proximity to beach is absolutely awesome. Beautiful block.- Blinds keep rooms very dark although I refuse to call them “plantation” blinds. But they work very well.- Porch very nice. Furniture good. High top table not thrilled about because hard to sit at for extended time. Well made outside furniture and mostly comfortable and lots of seats.- AC eventually worked but guest room still noticeably warmer bc ceiling vent doesn’t blow cold air. Fans in closets. Once the cold air kicked in the rest of the place was easy to cool. However the guest room was noticeably warmer the entire time.- Outside showers great. There are 3 to share between the complex.- Parking close by and extra pass nice to have. - Bike rack provided to lock up bikes if you bring.- Washer and dryer both work very well and ran through cycles really fast.And a couple of things that got in the way:- Master bed sinkhole. It’s the smallest Queen I’ve ever slept in. I measured and it is indeed a Queen but because the of the sinkhole it seems way smaller because you end up in the middle. I love snuggling with my hub but not when it’s forced.- Very few serving, prep bowls in kitchen. Only 8 of each bowls/plates. We had to do dishes a lot because our family of 4 ran out. Also everything in the kitchen was really dirty when we checked in so we ran the dishwasher three times and washed every plate, bowl, utensils, etc. Having less made that easier.-See below . . .

Reviewer Comments: Overall rental experience was good - this was our first summer in this location. Previously rented 17b Selling point was the fact that there were two bathrooms for 6 people. Porch furniture was not properly cleaned - but overall cleanliness was acceptable.

Not mine. I’m bald. Master bath and bedroom are infested with ants. Agent notified. No action taken. Apartment is very datedNew windows and plantation shutters seem ridiculous being the walls themselves are in such bad condition. Paint holds them up. Plantation shutters make the apt feel cold. Those atPatio door don’t close fully Master bathroom needs to be gutted. Second bath is new and nice and what the rest of the unit should look likeKitchen sink is about to fall through counter and the condition of the cabinet interior below tells me it’s been that way for a long time and no one cares. TVs are very small though good amount of channelsMaster bedroom mattress was ok but should be replacedThe unit needs more clothes hangers and not just those taken from a clothing storeCeiling fan in kitchen is too low and I had to duck around it. Dangerous if operating Lock on front door is difficult to operate
