Located in the Heart of Destin Sterling Sands is a 110 unit mid-rise building, a heated pool directly on the beach. Sterling Sands enjoys an ideal location in the heart of Destin & is convenient to shopping, golf, the airport, Big Kahunas Water Park, and the numerous restaurants in the area.
Sterling Sands is directly across the street from The Track Recreation area, and several walk to restaurants. Other attractions are over 200 holes of golf within 10 miles, 4 miles to Destin Harbor and home of the largest Charter Fishing Fleet in the Gulf of Mexico, 7 miles to the largest named brand shopping outlet in Silver Sands Shopping Outlet, and more restaurants per capita than any other area in Florida. Sterling Sands features 460 feet of sugar white beach with daily beach set ups during Season, spacious tropical pool with hot tub, grilling area with beach view, and a gulf view fitness area. Please note that there is an amenity fee per person (5 years old and up) of $15.00. It must be paid Online 3 days prior to your arrival. Also note that beach towels are not provided.

Love the condo layout and amenities! Location is perfect! Cleaners need to clean thoroughly. Its su ch a beautiful place, but more meticulous cleaning would make it perfect! We stay here every year and will book again!

Perfect beach days!

We stay in this unit every year. When we arrived two of the bathrooms were not clean. When I called the property manager she had the cleaning person call me back. Other than that issue, we thoroughly enjoed our stay and look forward to booking again in the future.

Beautiful Space with Amazing Views

This room was wonderful and fit our needs perfectly! The space was clean and welcoming. The amenities were perfect and it felt like home. Overall, the room was great, the views were spectacular, and we were able to settle in and relax as a family. Unfortunately, I do have just a couple of critiques. The washer worked great but the dryer struggled a bit and was VERY LOUD. It rattled and made quite a bit of noise to the point where it was hard to hear others talk over it. The only other complaint was the master showers. While elegant and beautiful, the pressure from the "rain head" style shower was just not enough to feel like we could actually wash and get cleaned. Overall though, I would 100% recommend. It was a wonderful space, beautiful and clean, with amazing views.

Sterling Sands 2023

Enjoyed our stay in this condo. We arrived a little early so when I texted Reese and asked when could we expect the door code, he texted back the condo was ready and the code. We always like getting settled in that first day, so that was great!! The condo has a very modern sense to it and was very clean. Everything also seemed to be in good working order, no problems with any appliances or air conditioner. I really only have a few things that could be improved upon. First, the shower in the the master bedroom is fully open with no walls, and the pocket door didn't lock right, so if small kids walking in on you is an issue....beware! Plus the rain shower head had almost no pressure, so we had to rely on the handheld wand to take a shower. It's pressure was great, but with no shower walls, you had to be careful not to spray the rest of the bathroom! They also apparently remodeled the big suite and moved the entry way through the little laundry room. This created alot of space in the suite for a little kitchenette and minifridge of its own, so that was nice. However, the door to room and the bifold door for the washer/dryer area get in each others way. Plus, we had a toddler in that room, so we all had to be really quiet in the kitchen and laundry room during nap time. None of these issues made our stay any less enjoyable, and we would not hesitate to stay in the same condo next year should we come back to Destin.

Spacious and a beautiful view of the beach. Need cleaned though!

We were thrilled with the location although traffic is a nightmare, but not the fault of the property. We had plenty of room even though the booking said it was 4 bedroom and was actually only 3. There were several things in the unit that were broken or did not work. The microwave was broken, the dryer didnā€™t dry anything even after several rounds, and the jacuzzi tub in one of the bedrooms didnā€™t plug so you couldnā€™t actually fill the tub but there wasnā€™t enough hot water to fill either jacuzzi tub anyway. Our biggest issue though, was the cleanliness of the unit and property. I donā€™t know who theyā€™re paying a cleaning fee to but theyā€™re not worth it! There was a thick layer of dust all over everything! The sheets in one of our rooms werenā€™t dry when we got there, the floors were filthy and the bedding they hadnā€™t washed beforehand smelled terrible! They donā€™t wash the pillow shams and blankets apparently, just the sheets. The walkways, stairs and elevators are also very gross and dirty. Itā€™s a shame the cleanliness isnā€™t up to par with the unit itself because it truly is a beautiful condo, just needs someone to clean it that actually does their job. Must say though, when the ac stopped working in one of our rooms we called the property manager and they had someone up to fix it. Also the beach, fitness center and pool are all clean and great! Just a little PSA though, mine and my daughterā€™s shoes were stolen off the walkway to the beach where everyone leaves their shoes at. Just donā€™t set your stuff down where you canā€™t see it.

Beautiful sunsets

Condo was great, especially for two families. The condo was very clean and had extra wine/drink cooler in the den. We saw dolphins from the balcony. One downside was the dryer, it took forever to dry clothes. Overall, very pleased with this condo.
