Located in the Heart of Destin Sterling Sands is a 110 unit mid-rise building, a heated pool directly on the beach.. Sterling Sands enjoys an ideal location in the heart of Destin & is convenient to shopping, golf, the airport, Big Kahunas Water Park, and the numerous restaurants in the area.
Sterling Sands is directly across the street from The Track Recreation area, and several walk to restaurants. Other attractions are over 200 holes of golf within 10 miles, 4 miles to Destin Harbor and home of the largest Charter Fishing Fleet in the Gulf of Mexico, 7 miles to the largest named brand shopping outlet in Silver Sands Shopping Outlet, and more restaurants per capita than any other area in Florida. This unit is a great comfortable place to stay. Great location right on the beach with beautiful views and lots of room. Other then the kitchen sink and master shower being found a little dirty and the ac units not working properly(which one was fixed during our stay)the place is top notch.

We had a view hiccups due to some HOA maintenance that we weren't aware of, but the property manager and owner made up for it. Definitely would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay

Nice condo, very close to the beach. Only negative thing was that the sheets smelled and we washed them and dish towels in the kitchen smelled sour. Other than that, we enjoyed our time in Destin.

Wonderful All Around

The entire space was beautiful and comfortable. The amenities were wonderful and the wrap around balcony view was gorgeous! It was so nice to see the strip as well as sit out on the back balcony and sip coffee while watching the waves roll in. The bunk beds were wonderful for the kids! Nothing bad to say about it all. Weā€™d stay there again!

Comfy Right on the Beach

Good location right on the beach. Nice pool and close to everything. Condo has had a refresh in most areas, but not all. Main area of kitchen, dining and living worked well with ample space and comfortable furniture. Bedrooms had nice furnishings with comfortable beds. Nice beach decor throughout, and we appreciated the childrenā€™s table and patio chair for a grand to use while there - a nice touch! The hall bath and separate bedroom suite needed a bit of deep cleaning, but surfaces were clean and workable with good water pressure. This side of the building is a bit noisy and view partial blocked by the building next door. We still found the patio & furniture a nice place to sit to eat and watch people and waves - the primary bedroom has an unobstructed view - very nice patio furniture. We had some issues with our AC having no power upon arrival on Saturday - we had to push the host to make our repair a priority, but ultimately it was fixed by Monday afternoon & they refunded an acceptable amount for the inconvenience. Overall the layout and location make this condo a good option, especially for larger groups looking for a 3 bedroom condo in Destin.

The property was as described and better. It was a great place. It is convenient to everything. The check in process was difficult but that was mainly because the email describing the checkin process and door codes made it in my spam/junk email folder. Once that was resolved all went smoothly.

Perfect location

Canā€™t beat the location and very family friendly! The chair/umbrella rental included was so convenient. The condo itself was the most well stocked kitchen Iā€™ve been to in Destin and Iā€™ve been coming for 10+ years. There were even lots of necessities for the kids that we had brought with us but itā€™s nice to know they are there (training potty, portable high chair, beach toys). Beds are comfortable and there is so much room. We had six people with us - 4 adults and 2 kids. We had a slight hiccup at check in with the condo possibly being double booked but Reese responded quickly and resolved the issue (VRBO issue, not the management company). Will definitely look to book again in the future!

Very nice!! Well decorated and comfortable and clean. Perfect size for our family. For the last 20+ years when we come to Destin, we have stayed at the Sterling Sands. Great condo with excellent views!

We had a great time and the condo was very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and decorated very nicely. The views are awesome and the private beach is wonderful. Evidently there was a problem with the cleaning crew that was supposed to clean before we arrived, so we were not able to get to our room until around 5:15-5:30 pm. The people cleaning were very kind and apologized several times. We did not get a courtesy call from the management company telling us of the delay, but we so appreciated the attitude of those that cleaned. They deserve a very good tip.
