Once Upon a Tide - Yachats Ocean View

Step into instant serenity when you walk through the door of this beautiful custom home. The little touches make this home warm and inviting. There are so many unique things about this home that you notice at every turn. The kitchen is state of the art and a great spot to cook and gather for some great meals. The master bedroom bathroom has a multi-head shower that you won't want to leave. And the view! Oh what a view. Watch the fishing boats, see whales, or just a short walk or drive to take a stroll on the beach. With 3 plus bedrooms and 2.5 baths, there is plenty of space for everyone to have some quiet time on there own. The open floor plan makes it easier to talk and enjoy each others company without feeling crowded. This is truly a home you must see for yourself and we are sure you will make it your home at the coast.

Beautiful home, beautiful location!

Beautiful ocean views from the deck/windows. Quick walk to the beach. It was close proximity to some great coastal viewpoints like Devils Churn & Thors Well. Yachats had great restaurants too.

Great, watch out for driveway

The home is beautiful. It was fully equipped. Peter, the property manager was very responsive and took care of everything immediately! One comment: our Ford Transit could not get into the driveway. Our tires spun out on the gravel road up the hill to the house. Friends, in a Four Runner, had no problem.

Spacious and well-stocked

Very comfortable home, nice furnishings, great kitchen with ample supplies. Decent view across 101 to ocean from several windows. Many nice details...lots of throw blankets, plenty of linens. Great master suite with huge shower and walk-in closet. Property managers were very nice to work with. Big flat screen tvs in living room and master bedroom. We concur that the driveway was a bit tricky, and we would have liked to have an easier walk to town, but our main quibble was that the deck we could have watched the ocean from needed some real TLC, and there were just two dilapidated deck chairs that badly need replacing. Overall a very nice home.

Beautiful Beachy Vibe

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was decorated beautifully and we loved our time there. We enjoyed easy check in and check out with the exception of having to wait for the towels to finish washing in order to put them in the dryer before we left. With 6 people all needing a shower, it was a bit inconvenient to sit and wait for the wash cycle. Pans could definitely use an upgrade (low quality) with more lids for cooking. But overall it was a beautiful place with a fabulous view of the ocean (there are power lines so it’s not an unobstructed view) with a spectacular beach nearby.

Home is beautiful inside appears inside as if new in design and features-

Walk in master bath with 3 head shower! Three nice rooms upstairs and additional murphy downstairs- per our professional “chef” the kitchen is very well supplied and supported our 10 person dinner party fine- note internet available but cellular spotty at best- yet this isnt a home problem more of a yachats thing- plentiful parking- highly recommend!!!!

Great location, beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay very much. A great view, home was quite clean, needs some extra dusting of blinds, window cleaning, but everything else was clean, with plenty of supplies, towels, etc. Very comfortable home and short drive to beach. Shower is lovely! We'll be back!

Perfect for our short getaway

Loved staying here; the location was perfect for us, as access to Cape Perpetua and downtown Yachats were our main priorities. The house was spotless and super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Planning a return visit!

This is a lovely house I’ll likely want to return to again. Excellent location with an easy walk down the hill to the beach, the Oregon Coast Trail and into town. (Not everyone will appreciate the short hike back up.) Great kitchen - well-equipped and room for a couple of cooks at least. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living area. We enjoyed sunset on the deck (but had deck chairs for just 2 of us) with an unobstructed view. I agree with the reviewer pointing out the need for a WiFi extender. There were a few “sweet spots” but upstairs wasn’t really one of them. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay!

The beds, pillows, and living room furniture were all in great shape and very comfortable. We loved the layout and having access to laundry facilities was amazing. The only downfall was the driveway. We traveled in a full size truck and maneuvering to turn around in the driveway was tricky.

Well appointed home in a good location

This is a lovely home with plenty of space and a very well-appointed kitchen for those who love to cook. It would easily suite 2 families or 4-8 couples as plenty of space. It is an easy walk down to the beach, care needs to be taken crossing the highway if there are younger children but really no problem. It is about a 15-20 walk into the town of Yachats which has some excellent places to eat and a wonderful baker who is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are views of the ocean from the kitchen, sitting area and upstairs bedrooms so very pleasant. All in all I would recommend this as a rental.

Last minute getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was clean and well stocked. The biggest concern was in a town with absolutely no cell service, wifi is essential and only half the house had wifi service, leaving the TV in the master unusable and unable to use your phone in the master. Tried resetting the modem but was unsuccessful in improving the situation. BOOSTER NEEDED. The master also had bright motion sensor lights under the bed and in the bathroom that made sleep difficult if you have a partner using the toilet multiple times in a night. The queen beds were a bit firm. The kitchen was really nice and had plenty of cooking supplies. No blender. Best part was the location. The surrounding hiking trails are truly amazing.

The kitchen is impressively equipped. The walk into town is shy of a mile and the route is unbelievably scenic. The rental is spotless, comfortable and relaxing. When we return to the area we will definitely stay in the vacation rental.
