Exactly as promised

Everything was great. The location was close to everything. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The host was readily accessible. I would recommend staying here to my friends.

Sisters getaway

This is the second time staying here. Host Better went out of her way to make us feel extra welcome. Very nice condo. Would recomment this to anyone and will definitely visit here again.

Port Isabel Vacation February 2022

The property was very clean and our host was exceptional. We had easy access to South Padre Island. There was close shopping for groceries, personal items and gift shops. The Restaurants and sea food in the area were great. We had a great time and would recommend this property and our host.

Beautiful Condo

We found the condo to be very warm and inviting. Very clean and nice view over looking the canal. Great location. The owner was very helpful and instantly available when we needed assistance or had questions. Everything you need is included. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this condo.

One month in port isabell

Nice two bedroom condo with balcony and water view, good location, clean and comfortable. Good value for sure. Hostess was helpful and informative re the area. Needs one large bowl for making salads or popcorn.

July 4th Weekend

We had a girls' weekend here, and it was exactly what we needed. I've spent a lot of time in this area over the years and prefer to stay in Port Isabel over the island. The location of this condo was great and very accessible. Betty made sure I had all the information I needed for our stay. Her communication was prompt and helpful. She even gave contact information for a boat guide in case we wanted one. The condo was EXTREMELY clean, which, for me, is one of the most important aspects of renting. It was comfortable enough for us, but I did need to use my own pillow because I prefer a thick, fluffy pillow. The only recommendation I would have for anyone staying here would be to bring a few dish towels if you plan on cooking much because their weren't any available. I didn't cook very much, so the paper towels I brought with me were good enough for what I needed. Also, if you plan on staying more than a weekend, you would want to bring some towels. There are 4 bath towels available, 2 in each bathroom, but no washer and dryer, so if you are staying more than 2-3 nights, you're going to need fresh towels. Overall, we had a great visit and would definitely stay here again.

Very pleased!! Will be back!!

We were looking for a place close enough to SPI to enjoy the fun, but we also wanted a place we could relax together in peace. This condo was the perfect fit. Everything was exceptionally clean and prepared. There were plenty of notes detailing everything we needed to know, such as wifi password. We weren't lacking anything we needed. Our hostess Betty was the most generous, thoughtful person. She went out of her way to make our anniversary trip memorable. She is, without a doubt, blessed with gift of hospitality. Thank you Betty! We will be seeing you again!

Noooooooo GOOD

Extremely difficult experience the entire time even the delusional owner accused me of having six guests when I never had but two. There was cameras right on the front door I asked for validation of this cuz I was concerned for my safety and she failed to provide them I personally think it was an additional scam for her to make extra money and take from me. Upon even arrival I was being annoyed with email after email after email from the owner Betty. The communication is easy because she is very open and not shy to communicate that's for sure. But things get more complex and more uncomfortable as time goes by. Do not take any children on this property with you due to the fact that there is many addicts renting and staying on site, extremely uncomfortable I used one parking space and got accused of using more than one, like I mentioned very difficult and uncomfortable stay

Disappointing

This is our first ever negative review for a VRBO property. But we have to be honest with our very disappointing experience. First of all, the host Betty was very friendly and responsive. But the accuracy of the listing needs to be addressed. The unit overall is very small so square footage needs to be listed. The unit itself was very clean. But we experienced a very bad odor coming from both toilets, apparently from toilet bowl pellets fastened up in the toilet bowl rims. We have never run into such pellets in other rental units and the odor from these were very overpowering. We tried opening doors to the patio for fresh air but my wife still developed headaches and nauseousness from the odor. We finally had to leave the unit after only a short two night stay due to the odor even though we had booked for seven nights. We have asked for some form of a refund but the owner stated she was waiting for a response from VRBO management before she could answer our request. Also, be aware, this unit's complex overall is in poor condition. The pool was dirty and unusable with a loud aggressive dog kept on a patio right next to the pool. The complex is tucked behind and through a retail store parking lot with a run-down apartment complex alongside the parking lot right behind a fence. A dirt and mud lot sits right across the small channel of water from the unit's balcony. The immediate area is unappealing and not inviting. A very disappointing experience overall with no answer to our refund request over two weeks later.

Clean, quiet, lovely condo

Really enjoyed the balcony over looking the canal! Easy drive to the beach, responsive, kind and generous owner. Only downside is getting out onto busy road.

This property is quiet and peaceful. You just come in and out at your own leisure without any personal contact at all. Birds and pelicans are frequent visitors! Bring your boat! Your family may fish using the whole dock area! Very close to HEB, Wal-Mart, CVS pharmacy, Starbucks, Church's, Whataburger, etc. Traffic is easily avoided when you arrive and when you leave.
Provided with crisp linen & towels, shampoo, shower mat, grip bars, etc. Every new visitor enjoys laundered carpets.
