The tiled ground floor with patio doors to pool area from living room and 1 queen en-suite bedroom.
65’’ TV in living room with cable TV and sports channels covering live events. All 6 bedrooms have a TV some are ‘smart’. The landing relaxation area has a flat screen TV, PC wii and some games for all the family, along with internet/WiFi. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with large ensuite bath and separate shower, closet and doors to balcony with patio set overlooking the lake. The other two ensuite bedrooms with queen size beds are on the ground floor. Another bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed and shares the family bathroom with the twin bedded room. The other twin bedded room is downstairs near the front door and has had a wider door installed for wheelchair access and has a shower room opposite. The games room has an 8' slate bed pool table, darts, air hockey, TV, table tennis and table and stools for the onlookers! We also have a ramp for the front door.

The kitchen has granite worktops and just about everything you need for pleasurable cooking with loads of utensils, pots and pans, table settings for 12 people. The screened pool/jacuzzi area has 6 loungers, 2 sets of tables and chairs under a long lanai and has a fan/light. Pool with sun shelf and changing coloured light. Jacuzzi for those relaxing enjoying the bubbles!
Cumbrian Lakes is set in a conservation area and is a gated resort with a nature trail and play area. Fishing is permitted in the lake.

Golf outing

Great house and location for our needs. One negative: the hot tub wasn't. We would like to rent this unit again in 2026, but want the jacuzzi to have hot water.

We had a great vacation the house was just as it said and showed on the pictures Plenty of room for my family the location was great I did occur a few issues but they were corrected within 24 hours management was great to deal with and response was very quick I would most definitely stay there again

Getaway

After a quick ride to the grocery store for food my family and I made some wonderful meals and enjoyed the pool area with games in the game room as well as the games we brought. House and beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Spring break week 2022

This 6 bedroom 5 bath home with heated cages pool and spa was fabulous for this family. An added bonus was the pool table ping-pong table and air hockey games. Thank you for allowing us to use your lovely home

We appreciate vacationers enjoy the games room. We do have a dart board but request guests bring their own darts as danger to children if left about. Fishing rods are also supplied and can be used in the three lakes we have on the estate, however fish to be returned to lakes! Just walking round the lakes viewing the wildlife is also a very pleasant way to spend some time. Then relax by the pool with a glass of wine!

Overall Decent Place

Overall we had a good stay. The hot tub didn’t get warm until like the 4th day. Kids loved the pool and plenty of room for all of us. The outdoor patio/pool area was very nice and we used it often. The driveway and parking left a lot to be desired. I would recommend notating that in the listing.

There is sufficient room on the drive for 2 cars as can be seen from the photo of our house with double garage door.

Would be nicer if the coaches were not ripped and worn out some of the tables are falling apart. washer dryer barely worked. If you can get past that Overall it was a nice stay

We do ask guests to defluff filter in dryer after each load but this doesn’t always happen and so vent gets clogged up costing $147 each time to be sorted. Management should be notified of any problems at the time so they can be addressed without delay. We are delighted to announce Gemstones as our new management company. This week the home has had a spring clean and all outside areas jet washed gardening done too and other smaller jobs attended to. This work is ongoing to bring our home back up to its expected standard.

July 4 weekend

We totally enjoyed our stay! nice place, nice décor, space was sufficient. communication was good. but had a problem with sugar ants (ghost) ants.. very small in the bathrooms and kitchen counters. the freezer had a horrible fish smell. we had to beach it clean before putting any food in it.

Hi Barbara I have contacted our management company and they said they are available to help with any issues during your stay and if you had called ( phone number in guest hand book )and let them know, they would have been happy to assist. Pest Control was immediately called to spray round our home. May I point out that in a hot climate and this time of year sweets and sweet wrappers, spilled sugary drinks, sugar etc. need to be cleaned up or disposed of and not left around to attract the critters!

Family vacation

This house was everything we were looking for in our 3 family Disney/Universal family vacation. Previous reviews about ants and small driveway had us nervous but everything was wonderful. We did see some very small ants in a few places but we made sure to keep food away and counters clean. This was not a big issue. The driveway is a little small but we fit two minivans in it ok. It’s a tight squeeze but still worked. The location was great, pool and hot tub were wonderful. Plenty of room for our party of 9!

We liked the overall layout of the house and outdoor space. Dianne was great at getting back to me if I had questions. Since we flew to Florida, it would have been nice to have amenities such as: Kleenex, paper towels, toilet tissue, garbage bags, dish soap, foil, etc, your basic household items that are non perishable. Also it would be nice to have bath mats in the bath tubs to prevent slipping and falling. It was a very relaxing 4 days and we did have a great time. Pool and hot tub were great. Thanks for sharing your home!

We used to have non slip rubber mats in baths but with covid and hygiene worries they were dispensed with. A toilet roll is supplied in all 5 bathrooms, laundry powder sachet, dishwasher sachet and trash bag, guests buy anything else needed.

Driveway will not accommodate 2 vehicles, hotwater heater is too small, pool water or pool itself was dingy. But plenty of room in house. But needs brighter lights. Would not rent this house again

AMAZINGLY SUPRISED...

Oh Wow!!! What can I say? This home has been a great experience from talking to the owner to vacationing at the home. I brought my Women's Military Softball Team to the area for a tournament and we came across this amazing home. The quick response from the owner was great. She really took care of us. The pool/ spa was heated, the rooms were spacious, everything we needed in the kitchen was there, the game room in the garage and video area upstairs were great stress relievers. The Team wanted me to try and book this home now for September and next January that is how great our experience was. We would stay here again and definitely recommend this home to others. Thank you! The Connors & Stoughtons Family Trip 2024

The house was nice and big for 12 people. We liked how it was a gated community. However, we thought there could be better communication about the door and alarm system. I did set off the alarm after following the directions and by the way the police officers were nice. Some accommodations we recommend are getting shower mats so not slippery, stocking up on kitchen items such as dishwasher soap for each day, condiments, trash bags and more toilet paper. The sliding glass door to enter pool should be replace. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub but the hot tub wasn't warm enough. Overall, if make accommodations then we will be back again. Thanks :-)

After covid the advice was to remove shower mats which we did. Housekeeping are only obliged to leave one set of consumables for guests to get started. We do not have a hot tub! We have a jacuzzi which is set at the recommended temperature by the pool maintenance team.

Our Yearly Sun n Fun Airshow Week

We have stayed at Dianne's house numerous times. Dianne has been wonderful to work with. The house for our stay has been simply "Great", especially the Heated Pool. This year, we encountered a fairly Bad Ant Infestation which we battled with our entire stay. It was mostly in the Kitchen area which we got various sprays to curb their spreading. They are infiltrated deeply it appears as they continued to resurface even after we sprayed deeply into every area reachable by us. I did not meet with, but my wife did meet and speak with the New Manager whom she said was very nice and helpful. All in setting aside the Ants, my wife, our youngest daughter Renee and Granddaughter Lleyton (5) had a wonderful time. Hopefully, by next year the Ants will move out. {:>) Thanks Dianne, Dick Rogers

Ants in a warm climate can be a nuisance in a home and we do take the problem seriously. The house is sprayed every month to keep the ants at bay. Guests can help the situation by cleaning kitchen surfaces as soon as drinks are spilt, opened packets of sweets, biscuits etc either boxed or returned to fridge as soon as possible.

Started out rough but ended nice

We had a little miscommunication with the management company when we first arrived but the owner was very responsive and things got situated. The house was nice but there were some things that need to be fixed. Like the screen in the pool area. We had a lot of flies and had to buy our own fly catcher from the store. The trash cans were full from the last party that was there which caused more flies and we did not have towels and tissue. We had to buy the tissue and remind the management company about the towels. Overall my family had a really good time and the owner refunded us some money back for our inconvenience. I appreciated that and we had a nice time staying at the property.

Trash! We have 2 bins for general waste and we do ask guests to bag stuff up because of flies and the heat but not everyone does unfortunately. Waste food can be disposed of down the waste disposal unit which also helps. Pool screens can get damaged at any time by landscapers,nature or age. Pool screens are just something that requires replacement every so often. What we do ask is, if a guest spots a screen with a hole or a flapping panel to REPORT it immediately to our management office. Thank you.

We liked it so much for all its attributes and location when they decided to sell we bought it!!
And what a great place to be - only 15mins from Disney and Wal Mart Supercentre just around the corner!

Both of us have businesses so when we come here it is like a peaceful haven away from people,phones and traffic.We always spend our first day just relaxing in our lovely home away from it all!What is super about staying in the villa is that you don't have to vacate the bedroom by a certain time,don't have to be at breakfast between this time and that time,don't have to be at dinner etc. etc. Lazy days sunning yourself by the pool! Just please yourself - how wonderful!!Isn't this what a holiday should be?
