2-Story Lake Cottage in the heart of the Finger Lakes on Lamoka Lake in Bradford, NY is the perfect getaway for you, your friends and family if you love the water and can't miss the perfect sunset! The cottage offers an open living and dining space, a full kitchen, king bedroom on 1st floor with a full bathroom, interconnecting queen and double twin bedrooms on second floor and laundry. You won't be bored on a rainy day as cottage offers a 55" flat screen smart television, WiFi, Games, books and more. The outside amenities include a backyard fire pit and seating, dock space with a large sundeck with fire pit overlooking a gravel bottom walk-in swimming area (via steps) safe for the kids, dock with ladder for jumping into the water or fishing, kayaks for renter use only. This is a fisherman's paradise with access to the lake via a public launch for boaters and kayak enthusiasts, a cleaning station at the cottage and plenty of freezer space! Ice fishing is also popular in the winter when the lake is frozen. Dock bumper and tie-off is available for day use only at the cottage site, no overnight boat mooring is available. Owner will not accept responsibility for damage to any privately owned water craft while tied off at the cottage dock. Parking for a watercraft can be arranged prior to rental with the owner. The cottage is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes area between Keuka and Seneca Lakes within a short drive of Watkins Glen International Speedway, Watkins Glen State Park, Keuka College, Corning Glass, The Windmill, the Glenn Curtiss Museum, the Finger Lakes Boat Museum, the Finger Lakes Hiking trails, more wineries and breweries than you can visit in one week, and many towns listed as tourist must-sees including Hammondsport, Penn Yan, Corning, Watkins Glen, and Geneva.
Docks are out for the season mid October- mid May. Cottage is 4 season with winter enthusiasts welcome. Snowmobilists are welcome with access to trail nearby. Ice fishing available dependent on presence and safety of ice thickness. Bristol Mtn. and Hunt Hollow ski resorts are within 1 hour drive.

Beautiful spot!

We enjoyed the property and especially sitting by the lake. Plenty of firewood provided for nightly fires. Had fun walking to the local pub for wings and drinks. Hosts were terrific!

Girls weekend

This place was fabulous! So peaceful and friendly. Great location, not too far from all the local attractions. Owners are friendly and the cottage is inviting and comfortable. We loved it and will definitely come again!

Lamoka Lake House

Overall good stay

We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the use of the kayaks. Home was spacious and comfortable. Owners live on premises in the home immediately between this house and the water and share dock/sun deck area with guests.

Amazing Place on the Lake

This place was comfy, convenient to all wineries & towns & lake is quiet. There are 2 cozy fire pits at this place & cool outside sitting are. The hosts are great & are there to assist you in any way they can. I’d recommend staying if you need a cool place to stay at the Finger Lakes.

Great cottage to stay at on Lamoka Lake!

This was a large homey well-furnished house to stay at and enjoy Lamoka Lake and the surrounding area. The friendly owners live in the cottage on the property, but we rarely saw them. We had the dock and large patio at lakeside to ourselves and enjoyed fishing and visiting with our relatives. It was a nice and relaxing week, and we would stay here again.

Relaxing and fun

The hosts were attentive to any needs we had. We all had a wonderful time swimming, fishing, kayaking, and campfires. The dining table made a great game table. Would definitely stay here again.

Very enjoyable stay in the Finger Lakes! Private dock was great with all amenities. Centrally located between Seneca and Keuka Lake. Hosts were friendly and communicative. House met all our needs. Fun and relaxing time, thank you!

Peaceful Place

This area is such a peaceful place. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house is cozy and the scenery is amazing. It's definitely a special place to visit when you what to take a breath and smell the fresh air. Good for the body, mind and soul. (wineries and breweries weren't to bad either). Definitely a 5 star location.

Great Swimming!

We loved our stay here! I want to specifically address the beautiful water for swimming! The entry is easy (via steps or jumping off the dock) and it’s clear and a perfect temp! The home is clean and cozy and has everything we needed. Rosalynn is friendly and communicated well. Our family was not at all bothered by making an incredibly short walk across the street to the waterfront. The AC units were very welcomed, as we had a hot week! This cottage has everything you need for a great stay at the lake!

Lakeside retreat

This was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed our week spent at lake and sky. Just steps from the lake we were able to enjoy fishing, kayaking, and swimming in this beautiful clear lake. The hosts were staying in the front cabin & helped to make us feel very welcome. The entire community around the lake was friendly and warm. With so many outdoor activities in the region, we could have stayed another week! Great value and a wonderful experience!

Brown Family Vacation

We loved the property and Harmon and Rosalyn were wonderful. The house was very cozy. We highly recommend staying at their place. We had a wonderful week fishing, kyaking, campfires with the kids, and hiking at Watkins Glen State Park. We caught a lot of fish, and we really enjoyed our vacation! We will be going back for sure. We wanted to stay a couple weeks longer. Lol

Everything we needed

We booked this property for a quick get away and it was exactly what we needed. The photos are spot on for what the property looks like. It was clean and comfortable and contained all the amenities needed for a home away from home experience. The Hosts were timely in communication and ease of check was great. The area is directly across from the lake, which afforded a beautiful view dawn to dusk. It's proximity to Keuka Lake was a mere 15 minutes and roughly 25 to Seneca Lake.

Fantastic place to stay!

Four of us stayed at this rental for three nights. It was a very comfortable place to stay. The seating and fire pit at the lake was a very short distance from the house. The kitchen was well stocked. The shower was fantastic. The host replied really fast when I wrote her to say that the propane tank was empty on the grill. We loved it there so much that we are already planning on returning next year around the same dates. I highly recommend staying at this house. We would give it 10 stars if possible!

Family friendly Lake House

The property was located directly across a very quiet street from the Lamoka Lake. The property owners provided lots of board games, a Mrs PacMan console, lots of DVD options, kids toys that seemed curated for our children’s ages, and even lent us bikes and helmets for the preschoolers to go up and down the driveway and quiet street. The three seating areas outside were perfect for if you wanted to hang out after the kids go to sleep (fire pit outside the kitchen door), if you wanted to enjoy a light drizzle hangout outside (under the carport), or if you wanted to enjoy the sunset (right near the docks across the street).

Quick Trip to NYS Wine Country

We would definitely stay here again. We made a quick trip to the Finger Lakes region for harvest festival weekend at one of the wineries that we enjoy on Keuka Lake. The cottage is centrally located for Keuka and Seneca Lake Wine Trails and the Watkins Glen area. The cottage was comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The lake side dock/patio offered the most amazing views around sunset. From the master bedroom, there was an amazing view of the lake. The car port was a blessing as on the morning of our departure, it was raining. Having the carport available to pack our car kept us nice and dry for the five and a half hour drive home. I really wish the the VRBO platform would allow me to upload some of the photos that we were able to capture.
