I'm sorry the occupancy limits impacted your plans, we do suggest in the future choosing a home that suits the needs of your entire group, regardless of whether or not they stay the night. The maximum occupancies for our homes are largely dictated by what is written in the homeowner's insurance policy and cannot be exceeded. Additionally, guest experience diminishes greatly when occupancy limits are exceeded as the home utilities and amenities simply cannot keep up. We hope you still made some nice memories at Bass Lake and enjoyed the cabin.

Dear guest, Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are sad to see we failed short of your expectations. We will follow up with the 3 housekeepers who cleaned and the cleaning inspector who checked their work after they finished. We are also sorry we were not able to get you in earlier that day. We very often see negative reviews as retaliation when this happens, but unfortunately it is a large home that requires significant time to clean. Spiders/cobwebs can develop very quickly up here in the mountain environment, sometimes within an hour or two. We have a pest control company who handles these for us, and will follow up with them. Future guests, feel free to look for Willow Cove Lodge on Air BNB and see some of the great reviews this property has gotten!
