Lakefront Cabin - Retreat To Long Lake!

In the heart of the Northwoods, this cabin is central to many wonderful towns, 15 mins from Stone Lake, Spooner, and Birchwood with Hayward 30 mins away. The cabin is on Long Lake, the well-known Walleye capital of Wisconsin. Long Lake is 3,300 acres, stretching 19 miles and is fabulous for fishing and lots of recreation. The lake is beautifully clear - making it easy to fish and enjoy for the whole family. We have dock space available to bring your own boat. There is great fishing anywhere on the lake - especially right off the dock! Hundreds of acres of public hiking trails are located close by.

Long Lake is great year round! There are plenty of hunting and fishing opportunities in any season. In the summer months, you can enjoy boating, skiing, and other water sports - or take a trip on the ATV and horse trails around. In the fall, nothing beats the beauty of the colors changing, enjoyed during a picturesque bike trip. Winter offers some of the best snowmobile, cross-country skiing and ice fishing Wisconsin has to offer.

Our cabin is stocked with plenty of puzzles, games, and toys for the rare rainy day. In addition, you can find linens, towels, and a fully stocked kitchen to keep your vacation worry-free.

Our family of 5 had a great stay. We fished, pulled the kids in the tube as well as relaxed near the island. Would for sure visit again given the opportunity!

We all loved the cabin, amenities, the outdoor firepit with firewood available. My 8-year-old granddaughter loved playing with the dollhouse when inside on a rainy day. For the whole stay, it truly felt like home and not a resort. We definitely plan to stay here again. The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had.

Perfect Vacation

We had the perfect vacation for our family of 6. The cabin had countless games, outdoor toys, volleyball net, and fishing right from the dockā€¦our kids were never bored. Kelsey was a great host and quickly returned any questions we had. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend to others too!

Great Place

We used to go to the Crow's Nest 40 years ago. So we wanted to have our kids and Grandkids enjoy it too. And they did. They caught lots of fish and went swimming too. Very clean cabin and Kelsey was wonderful. The shower broke and she came and fixed it right away. The only thing that was missing was a beach for our grandkids to play at. Other than that it was wonderful.

Great cabin and location

The dock gets great sun until late afternoon and the bay keeps the wind down for pulling in a boat easily. The cabin and property has great features and amenities. The Blackstone grill is perfect for cooking meals for the family.. The location on the lake is perfect; easy access to the sandbars/restaurants on the main part of the lake, as well as the narrows for cruising on windy days..

Fun Family Cabin Time

Clean and Comfortable!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the Blackstone grill and was nice to have an on-site washer/dryer to use! It was a pleasant surprise to see a few kids toys as well, our kids had fun with the sand toys. Overall a great stay.

Great Birkie weekend

I selected this cabin given its proximity to Hayward and the American Birkebeiner, and it did not disappoint. Easy 30 minutes to Hayward. The property itself was open with great natural light, clean, beds comfortable, and the fireplace well stocked. We didn't venture down to the lake, but could see the occasional snowmobile go by in the distance. Lovely winter weekend away.

House has abundance of space and storage, and area is peaceful. Manager was very friendly and was easy to get a hold of whenever we had questions or concerns. Definitely recommend staying here and I know me and my family will be returning next year!

Long weekend getaway from the cities

New, clean, and cozy cabin suited for a relaxing time away. Cooking was great and fun, the Blackstone Grill is really a nice cherry on top for the outdoor entertainment and cooking. Long lake is a medium boat traffic lake, which was nice to kayak and paddle board on. We also stopped at the Perlick distillery nearby and highly recommend it to other visitors. Beds were clean, kitchen had necessary utensils, and accommodations were great for the 5 of us visiting. One note was that the internet/router was not allowing any of us to access the internet as we wanted to do a little work/catch up on emails in the morning but were unable to.

Amazing family get away!

Our trip had three generations, my parents(over 60), my brother and I and my teenage son and his friend. The only thing we were missing was swimming right at the rental-but Kelsey was awesome and sent us a map of the best locations! We spent some time in Hayward and visited all the waterfalls in an hour area! The guys went out fishing morning and night. The fire was great! Volleyball court was fun! Really fun trip! Thank you for hosting us!

Beautiful location.

It was a nice clean place, at a beautiful location. Our family really enjoyed catching fish off of the dock, kayaking, and access to a nearby launch to take our boat out on the lake.
