This cute cabin had the perfect layout for our family of four. Our kiddos enjoyed their own little beach, flat entry into the lake which was great and generally hard to find in a property. We did some fishing off the dock and enjoyed just taking in the beauty of Long Lake. A few observations from our stay, had to bring all of your own towels. Additionally, with no washer/dryer it made it difficult to keep our towels dry (we had rainy weather so hanging outside wasn't an option). The window AC in the bedroom needs to be replaced. It was filled with dirt/mold which we kept turned off and used the box fans that are available in each bedroom. Overall, a great cabin in a great location. Would recommend.

Perfect place on the lake

Some friends and I stayed on the lake and rented a boat from Daves just a few minutes away. Ryan was very responsive when I needed something and greeted us shorty after we arrived. The house was exactly what was stated on the listing. Overall a wonderful stay and will be back!

Beach House Vacation

Great location with a wonderful sandy beach that is practically right on the water. Ryan has done a terrific job of updating the cabin with lots of amenities both inside and out. We definitely will be coming back next year!

Beautiful Cabin

We had the best time at this adorable cabin. It is right on the lake and the beach was perfect for the kiddos. It is very clean and well equiped with anything you will need. We look forward to future stays

Perfect location for kids

Property was excellent. Our group was four adults, three kids. The cabin was neat and clean. Luckily we had great weather and spent all our time outside. The property has a large picnic table outside where we ate all our meals. Fishing off the dock was awesome, you could see the pan fish and it kept the kids happy, constantly reeling them in. The water was clean and the owner pulls weeds so it’s fun to play in the water and swim out to the raft. The owners had fans to help move the cool air around, and basic kitchen supplies to use. Bring a bath mat for when you step out of the shower, the tile floor is slippery. Be aware, this cabin is very close to a road, so there is a bit of road noise, but it’s not too bad. Overall, great rental at a very reasonable price!

Great Stay!!

This place exceeded all our expectations for our family vacation. We had probably the coolest weather of the summer, but made the most of it. The kids loved swimming (even in the cold) and the water was really warm. The fishing was fun off the dock and we had several fun kayak outings. The cabin has everything you need and plenty of space which is usually hard to come by in a cabin. It felt like our own private vacation, but close enough to various restaurants and activities (Hunt Hill was a hit with our kids). All communication with Ryan was easy and helpful. We'll already talking about going back next year!

We Love Long Lake!!

The house is so cute and just had some new upgrades. Its just what you need and nothing you dont. It's the only property that has a great beach that we could find. It has a nice dock to bring your boat...two restaraun/bars to drive the boat to just up the way, comfty beds....we will be back next year for sure. Ryan had great communication with us too.

Cozy but sufficient

Small cottage but has everything you need for a getaway on the water! Nothing fancy either, but was clean and right on the water (no cliff-like stairs to navigate).

Review

Love the location and property. We had large black ants. we communicated with property owner via email. we bought spray but had hundreds of ants for the first 2 days and nights. i thought they were going to send an exterminator but did not. They slowed down the last day but were still there when we left. Did not receive any other communication from owners or any follow up.

Perfect Place for our family

The house and property exceeded our expectations. We thought it would smell and look like an old cabin inside and to our surprise it has all been renovated. There were no pictures of the bedrooms so we weren't sure what to expect. They are updated and clean. The house was perfect for our 2 and 3 year olds. It was very kid safe--no sharp edges or breakables. The beach is also the best beach around! Most everyone else has just rocks or plants---this beach was the best!!! The kayaks were fun, the grill worked great, the fish cleaning area was a perfect set up. Ryan was easy to work with and very friendly. We will be booking for next summer for sure.

Amazing cabin and experience!

I grew up coming to this cabin and it is just how I remembered it! The lake is gorgeous, the cabin was clean and spacious. The owners were available if we needed anything. We will be back next year!

Fishing trip

The location was good for access to water from cabin. The dock was great. Could have used some good towel racks in bathroom. Unfortunately, fishing wasn’t good.

Labor Day Weekend

Property is nice and as advertised. Yard is pretty private, steps from crystal clear Long Lake. There was 6 of us staying and we had plenty of room. Definitely would recommend this place. Owner was responsive and booking was easy.

Awesome location

Everything was great. Enjoyed the kayaks and being right on the waterfront. Lauren and Ryan were friendly and helpful. Will be back .

Beach House on the lake

Beautiful spot only steps away from the crystal clear lake. Fishing was awesome and swimming was great! The Beach House was clean and comfy with all the amenities you could ask for. Nice Northwoods dining spots were only minutes away. Ryan and Lauren the owners had everything ready for us and were ready to help with any requests. We will definitely come again to this sweet spot on Long Lake. Steve Patzer. St.Charles ILL.

Great beach area, perfect family get away.

Clean, well maintained, on the lake cabin. Everything we needed and more. 5 adults and 2 children and we weren't tripping over each other. Kitchen was good for cooking and prep. The bay it is located in let us tube, kayak, float and swim without being bothered by a lot of other boats. Good fire ring, outdoor seating, and nice beach area. Bring your own drinking water and have fun. We did.
